Neel's POV
She's leaving today. I shouldn't stop her. I don't need to stop her. If she leaves, it's not as if she's leaving in bad terms. I'll still see her all the time.
Okay not all the time. I won't get to see her soft, beautiful face first thing in the morning or the last thing at night. I won't get to see her wet silky tresses first thing after she comes out of the bathroom in the morning. I won't get to see her silly concentration face, in which her mouth is wide open when she puts her eyeliner on.
But I'll still get to see her. Just when I'm not busy with work. And not at home. Most likely at Chamko Cafe. Most likely with Ali. Ali...
"Nahi, main yeh kaisi soch main par gaya. This is the right thing to do. Hum dono sirf ek manzil ke liye hee shaadi shuda thei. Mission complete. Ab woh uske raaste, aur main apne raaste. And anyways, I'll remain her friend, Neel voiced to himself aloud. He was by the window sill, looking at the nothingness of his view but still staring intently at it. There was a strange pang of pain in his chest, but Neel ignored it. He was not going to dare think anything outside what he had deemed to be a safe zone for his heart and mind. Avni usually crossed the line, and perhaps it was a good thing she wasn't going to be at such close proximity to him anymore. She was lurking in the dangerous waters of his head, and body.

Prakash's POV
Watching him from behind, was his father. Prakash could see the internal battle within his son's eyes. He could see Neel's longing to make Avni stay. But Neel was stubborn and confused. Prakash watched his son talk to himself out of what his heart wanted him to do. He felt a hand on his shoulder which startled him. Looking back he saw his wife, looking as worried for Neel as he was.
"Tillu toh mads ho gaya hai. Mujhe ladge hai yeh such mooch use ladki ke saath loves main pai gaya hai. Main kooch karoon, Prakash ji? Ki yeh Avni girl, no go ji? Shweta whispered to her husband.
"Nahi Shweta ji. Ab yeh doori hi Neel ko ahsas dilogi ki woh Avni ko chahne lage hai, Prakash replied.

Avni's POV
I had woken up early this morning, so I get to lay my head in bebe's lap as she tells me stories. I never got any love from a dadi, and bebe completed that emptiness in my life. I know I have to leave today, but the bond I share with bebe will last for a lifetime. Mujhe pata hain ke bebe bi maine jaana ka unka dukh mujhse chhipayi jahri hain. Lekin mujhe jaane hi parega. Main Neel pe bojh nahi ban sakti.
Neel ne mujhe ek bebe ke pyar dediya, aur ek papa ka bi. Uncle bi mujhse ek beta jaise pyar karte hain. Ek baap ki fikir, unke salah, unke chintah maine kabhi pehle nahi musoos kahi. Neel ne mujhe saab kuch diya jiski mujhe khami thi, main uspe bojh nahi ban sakti. No matter how much I want to stay, main itni khudgars nahi ban sakti.

Neel's POV
Pata nahi kyun lekin jab meri wifey...wifey nahi ab Neel...jab meri...Neel yeh teri khabse hogi...jab Avni ko bebe ke saath dekhte hoon na, toh ek ajeeb se sukoon milte hain. Wif...Avni kitni cute lagti hain, bilkul ek bachche jaisi. Kaash who do hor din rukh jaaye. Ab kyun tension nahi hain, toh masti and khushi se kate who din. Lekin rokhoon bi, toh kis behene se. Nahi Neel, tum selfish nahi ho sakte. Don't put yourself at a position that will cause you more pain later on, Neel. Tab aur mushkil ho jaige.

Avni's POV
Packing her belongs was an autonomous task. A task that she didn't even realize ended so quickly until she was all out of things to pack. Her brain was on autopilot as she reflected her stay in this room.
Avni smiled at her memories, as she pictured herself tackling Neel with pillows. She smiled as she pictured Neel's disheveled hair and teasingly miffed brown eyes. That reminded her the eyes of a puppy dog. The eyes of the cutest puppy dog in the world. Avni let out a laugh.
Neel meri baat sune ga tho kahe ga, ki woh cute nahi hain. Ladke cute nahi hote. Bade aye Mr ACP Neil Khanna. Theek hain uske paas muscles hai, hot body hain, style hain. Lekin shakaal toh dekho uski. Bilkul masoom. Cute like a puppy dog... What am I thinking? Thank god, Neel van't hear my thoughts right now. He would think I have gone mad. I think I've gone mad. The sadness of leaving this house has made me go insane.
All of the sudden her phone blared her ringtone. Looking down at the caller id, Avni recognized her Neela ma.
"Hain ma, main thodi der main hi wahan ponch jaaongi. I've finished packing, Avni answered her mother's simple greeting.
"Avni, tumhe Neel chode ge yahan ja...Neela started.
"Pata nahi ma. Maine usse poocha hi nahi. In fact, ussne toh mujhse aaj baat hi nahi kahi, Avni revealed, disheartened at the fact. She knew after the plan, their marriage, even if it was not a proper one, will be over. But she still thought Neel and her would remain friends. She trusted him with everything. She trusted him more than anymore. Something about Neel made her trust him more than even herself. Yet, as soon as Dayawanti was arrested Neel had been giving him the silent treatment. Avni sighed.
Neela remained silent for a second, not knowing what to say, without being too intrusive. She instructed her daughter to ask Neel, before asking Ali to bring her over. A plan Neela knew would quietly upset Neel.
"Okay ma, mein Neel se pooch thi hoon, Avni replied.
"Kya poochna hain? a voice appeared from behind Avni. Turning around, Avni didn't expect Neel to be so close. How long had he been there?
"Ma, main aapke thodi der main milti hoon. Bye, Avni quickly said, hanging up the phone, before she began scrambling for words to ask Neel to drop her to her mother's. She didn't know how to start the conversation, even though he was standing there waiting for her to speak up. His eyes intense as they stared into her own.
