Do any other family members play?! - Well my brother played the clarient for like a few months, but he wasn't my inspiration lolz..not even 😆 but actually..in my grade 7 music class, we had to play an instrument and since I found the keys of a clarinet amusing, I chose it lolz.
3. Please describe/explain to us the major parts of the clarinet! - Ok, well there is the ligature, it secures the reed. The reed is this "thing" lolz..you put on the mouth piece, and that's where you blow. You need to replace the reed if it breaks or what ever. There is the bell, that's where the sound comes out from. Altogether there are 7 things u need to play. You need the bell, one of the big parts of the clairnet, the other big part, the barrel, the mouth piece, the reed and the ligature.
4. In terms of playing, to what other instrument is the clarinet closest?! - Its closest to the oboe and the bassoon. The oboe and the bassoon are 2 diff instruments, but they are almost like the clarinet
5. Who, if any, is your favorite clarinet player?! Why is he/she/they your favorite?! - I dun really have a fave clarinet player.😆
6. Where in your house do you keep your clarinet?! - Umm..well I dun actually have one. My school does, in the music room. You can take your music instrument home anyday u want, but u have to bring it bac the very next day. We are allowed to take out music instruments from school, because our school has a music program. So, yes..for 4 years..I've been playing from the school. 😆😳 Whn I do bring it home..I just put it anywhere in my room.
7. When and where do you find it most relaxing/soothing to play the clarinet?! - Where - in my bedroom. Whn - After I finish all my hmk.
8. When you are playing, describe your emotions at that moment (how does it make you feel)?! - I just concentrate on getting the notes rite, and I dun finish playing until I get whn im playing, rite ..at least once.
9. If you were given a chance to portray your talent at an event, to which song/musical would you play?! Why?! -- Ohh I would play this song called "The Tempest." I LOVE IT. I really like it because of the notes. There is a time, whn u get really quiet, and then there is a time where u can blast it, and get as loud as u want. I love that music piece because unless u've heard it before..you can't predit wht ur gonna hear.
10. Is there any other instrument that you would like to learn how to play?! Is so, which one(s)?! -- Humm..well maybe the saxaphone.
11. Why do you think that they don't show characters in movies playing the clarinet in any scenes (like they do a piano)?! -- lolz good ques. I unno..maybe its cuz they just have a trend with the piano ..so maybe they wanna stick to it? Lolz. I really dunno. 😕
12. What does "clarinet" mean?! (If you know)!
I know one thing..its an Italian word. The word Clarinet started with "clarino"
