but this really surprised me. now i have to read some physics abt it. coz i was thinking it has some flute-like sound-generation funda. i mean if we close only two of the upper hole, n leave the middle ones open, then how covering the bottom hole have any meaning.

--- omg..im so stupid! OMG!! Sorry for the confusion! But yes..you're right. You can't do that! You can't have a finger covering a bottom hole, 2 fingers covering 2 of the top holes..I just realized ..I wrote that yesterday..no you can't have that. Sry for the confusion!

i dunno .. but i think C# = Db and both sounds same. actually the same note. 😕

u r talking tons of notes, i am still surprised abt just 24 notes. that how 6 holes can cover two-three octave ?

there are many tone holes (17-24) and keys are really very complex. Clarinet seems very complex.

that Basic 6 holes. if u cover top two..and leave middle ones open.. then what is the meaning of covering the bottom one, it shudn't affect. ? or do u know that note name ?

c#=Db is still a confusion. (clarinet seems very complex)

Ok ..im not sure about that..but whn ever we play a band piece..the clarinets are usually divided into 1st plarinet and 2nd clarinet. I play 2nd clarinet. The 2nd clarinet..is usually playing the top notes, and the 1st clarinet is USUALLY playing the bottom notes..but sometimes ..you get to play a bit of both. So ..you can say...I know my top keys better, than the bottom ones..really better 😳

and BTW i saw this close-up.. it seems very scary..hehheh -- It's not scaryyy its really cool!!

i am very curious to see n touch this instrument in real. 😛

Well the 1st year it was easy...but then it got..harder. But actually I think im done with playing. Im not gonna take music next year, cuz if I do ..then I won't be able to take the other things that my school has
