My POV.
I know everybody has been waiting eagerly for d tabela so some of u especially ICU people r going 2 b really angry with me. However here r my reasons for objection:
Despite being intrigued by K, R did everything in his power to hurt K for the sake of his father's stupid R-B.He betraysPrem Babu with K's father's press. K tries 2 kill him but he doesn't expose her. He gets Sohan Tauji hanged(yeh he does save K's life), implicates Mamaji in a false case so that he has to pay an exhorbitant fine. Consequently K is sold off by evil Mami to dat slimebag wolf buddha. In Buddha's house she goes thru unbearable torture( Mamiji almost seemed human) like buddha's nightly wolfish advances which she resisted, forced confinement and slavery in dat house, whip lashes, public humiliation when falsely implicated in theft, hand being burned and attempted rape by buddha's younger son. Then she escapes only 2 be betrayed by R 4 dat stupid R-Bship. Yeh he obviously knew by now dat she had been sold off to the buddha 4 money yet he does what he does.( At dis time the show had grt potential. I thought they would bring R back and he would reform on witnessing K's suffering at d hands of d buddha and may even free from d buddha.)
Anyways den K blackmails him 2 get married. And he does 2 save his family honour(& R-Bship).
Typical Indian man. No matter how well educated same cliched notions.
Then K has d upperhand. Then comes d Satnam Singh case where K gets d better of him. With d R-B gone instead of coming 2 his senses he goes bootlicking d Brits & promises Takla d hide of d KKs including dat of K so dat his father becomes a R-B even after K saves his father's life(& his 2 previously). The he saves her life and when she uses d oppurtunity 2 save d KKs he insults her & tries 2 throw her out of d house. She stays back despite d humiliaton hellbent on revenge behaving rather shrewishly.He calls her shameless.Then she is wrongly framed 4 theft and he joins his family in all d unfair accusations despite being aware of her ideals. Then her innocence is proven and dey r sent 2 some minihoneymoon.
Here d tabela fiasco happens.
Oh did I mention his previously uttered lines like "Indian women r deir hubby's slaves etc".
Coming back 2 d tabela. Suddenly R is d very name of gentility and K d very name of confusion. How uncharacteristic. Dat 2 all in i week.
I mean was dis extreme and extraordinary fiasco necessary? And dat 2 a drunken one night stand in which behaves so uncharacteristically.
Couldn't R apologise 2 K and thank her and abandon dis bootlicking mission. He doesn't have 2 become a KK. He once enquired abt her scars. Couldn't he find out more abt her past and try and understand her.
Den if d tabela had happened I wouldn't really mind.
4 HEAVEN'S SAKE PLZ NO PREGNANCY NOW.
And creatives do some research.
In my feedback post I mentioned abt 2 grt novels with similar storyline(obnoxious hero and unimpressed heroine):
Pride and Prejudice(has a happy endinng) and Gone With The Wind(tragic ending). I hope d creatives read them up.
