i am back with the update guys!!!😃😃

Part -3

" Are you ok Miss. Nupur??" asked Mayank with concern apparent in his
deep voice.
Nupur was shocked that he knew her name,she dropped her hands that
were holding on to Mayank,as she straightened Mayank let go off her
shoulder & moved back slightly.
"who are you?? " asked Nupur with a frown " what are you doing here &
how do you know my name??"
Mayank said , " Nice to meet you too. I am Mayank Sharma ,your host .
don't you think its very natural that i would be aware of the names of
guests ,who are invited to my home??" there was a just a tinge of sarcasm
in his voice but he smiled charmingly while saying it.

Nupur got up to her feet sheepishly ,offered her hand, " pardon me Mr.
Sharma. my only excuse is that i am a bit disoriented . Thanks for having
me."
Mayank shook her hand firmly ," no need to apologize ,you are welcome
here & please call me Mayank, my dad is known as Mr. Sharma in these
parts." said Mayank laughing ,"i will call you Nupur ,may I??"
"of course you may Mayank." said Nupur.

" why don't we sit down & talk Nupur ." Mayank said . he waited
for Nupur to take her seat before taking a chair himself.
*so he has impeccable manners in addition to great looks * thought Nupur
smiling. Mayank looked at her quizzically ,"what???" he asked . "just
remembered something" said Nupur .

Suddenly Nupur started feeling awkward under Mayank's intense gaze, to
cover it up she smiled brightly & said " you are so lucky to live in a beautiful
place like this ,so far away from the hustle-bustle of city life. i began feeling
relaxed & calm even before reaching here."
" i am glad . hope you will have
a great vacation here. " said Mayank.
" i expect to. there are so many fascinating places to explore here. I intend
to do that as soon as the weather permits." said Nupur.

" i wanted to ask you something Mayank ." Nupur said a bit hesitantly .
Mayank just nodded indicating her to go ahead. " i saw your seascape in the
hall stairs & its such a fabulous painting. you are immensely talented ."
Nupur said beaming at Mayank . " Aunty told me rest of your paintings are
in your quarters in your wing. i really can't wait to take a look at them.
will you please show them to me??"
Mayank felt a bit warm at Nupur's praise & the appreciation glinting in her
eyes. " i will show them to you Nupur . i promise. just not right now." said
Mayank.

" so tell me how do you plan to spend your vacation??"
Nupur sensed he wanted to veer away from the topic of paintings ,which
puzzled her a bit , but she let it go.
" oh !! i want to visit your Tea plantation ,i have never seen one before,
then i would love to go for a hike in the jungle." said Nupur.
" ok !! i will take you for both . " said Mayank. " you may explore the area
around the bunglow . but don't venture into the woods alone." said
Mayank. Nupur nodded. Just then Shilpa entered the library .
" dinner will be ready in another hour, hope you are not hungry Nupur."
said Shilpa.
They spent the time chatting on various subjects . Shilpa
asked about Mona & how she was doing . Nupur regaled them with her
friend Mona's antics. just then Raghu kaka announced that the dinner was
served.
They kept chatting about places they had visited during dinner ,which the
three of them had in the huge dining room .
Shilpa told Nupur that her husband had gone abroad for some work.
The discussion then moved to Nupur's work.
Nupur was surprised to know Mayank knew her work ,he apparently had
read every single one of her articles, as he knowledgeably discussed many of
them.
" you really have a phenomenal memory Mayank." exclaimed Nupur ,"
some of these articles were published 2-3 years back. "
" i do remember many things Nupur," said Mayank softly " i have very
good memory." Mayank smiled mysteriously & Nupur felt goosebumps
dotting her skin.
