IVF OR NOT

I am totally against IVF. Vidya is not sick or anything. And why bring an innocent child into all this . Plus if they do go ahead with a child then that shows that what vidya's parents and neighbors are saying is right but it is all wrong so no need to prove the right. this is the best situation to make them realize that just because they dont have a kid does not mean it is vidya's problem. And vidya doesnt have to reveal that gaurav is gay, she cna just tell her dad like she told her mom that there is no physical relationship between them and the problem is with gaurav and not her. more than that vidya should get divorced. she is saying she wont love anybody else but of course she will say that as long as she is married. they should show her getting an education and just becoming mature. she is probably 21 or 22 and that is too young to have kids and be married.

But overall having a kid in this situation is the worst solution.

IVF is not a solution here.It puts Vidya's self esteem at a stake.

Agreed IVF is solution for parents who have difficulty conceiving normal way. And totally agree with that Vidya shouldn't have to have a kid because of the social pressure as its not fair on both Vidya and the child. Also couldn't have agreed more with that Vidya should seek divorce and become independent. But my thoughts were based on Vidya's choices of life.

Now Vidya has chosen to stay married to Gaurav for whatever her reasons are. She was a meek and timid person when she married Gaurav but we have seen her grow into a person who isn't hesitant to speak her mind out. She makes her own decisions and choices which has been evident in recent episodes. If she wants to remain married to Gaurav she will do so, irrespective what other people think. She was angry with Gaurav about encouraging Chinu's feeling towards Vidya but never once did she say I want a divorce.

If she could teach herself English and turn glamrous to get Gaurav's attention I think she is quite capable of making an independent life if she decides to and she will get the support from Devyani, Gaurav, Priya and Aditya (who will even convince his Dad) But does she want to to that?

Now in that situation if she wants to keep Gaurav's homosexuality hidden from everybody which is one of her reasons to stay married to Gaurav IVF seems an option. That would keep Gaurav's homosexuality undercover and from the way Vidya's mind works I think she will welcome it with open arms as it will kill two birds with one stone. As far as the child goes I think if a bully like Brahama with no morals and ethics can have normal kids, the kid will be fine with warm hearted and caring parents Gaurav and Vidya.

but if there is a kid, everyone is kinda stuck. I mean right now they want to hide the gay thing but once brama is sent to jail or the divorce happens and everybody finds out his truth then he cant do anything to gaurav. So why bring a kid in the equation and make everyone even more miserable. Plus gaurav now wants karan back but after a kid he wont leave the baby and vidya so once again gaurav and karan has to suffer and break up. Plus gaurav will always have to hide who he is. So having a kid makes no sense especially since vidya hasnt even seen the outside world. she is soo young. her life is not done yet. why should she be bound to a fake marriage for the rest of her life especially when the husband himself wants out. Her parents already wanted her to divorce gaurav so if she leaves him she will have support of her parents. And devyani and priya, adiya and gaurav love her so much that they will always support her and get her education and job. and gaurav hates his dad and is always sad coz he has seen his mom sad all his life. Of course vidya will always be unhappy and that kid will notice that. being raised by two miserable parents is not healthy. He will see the distance between both parents and probably feel miserable. Brama's kids are not perfect either.
