"Junoon"
Part 1
Somewhere in the outskirts of Mumbai..a bit faraway from the main road lies a mechanic shed and a small cottage attached behind it.The cottage is dusty n seems to be unused for quite sometime,all the furniture is randomly spread here n there with cobwebs hanging around.It is extremely quite when suddenly voices can be heard from inside a room of cottage.The room is small n most of the furniture is pushed aside making space for a sofa where the reasons for the voice is present..a girl.A girl tied with ropes on her hands n legs n blind-folded lays on the sofa n struggles to remove the rope.. but in vain.
"Koi hain'..(loudly n screams) bacho mujhe ..bachao.." she has been screaming for a while but no one responded her..when she feels no one is around her n her screams are not helping she stops it for a while n pants heavily from the exahaustion.Her hair is spread around her beautiful face n she was sweating heavily.
After a while,she hears a voice of footsteps approaching her room in the silent corridor n gets alert..she hears the door of the room creak open n close ..some one is approaching her..but not a person who could help her but someone who is responsible for her state.
"Kaun ho tum..(trying to speak loudly n sense the person as she is blind-folded n can't see)..mujhe yahan kyun leke aaye ho..chodo mujhe..argh!Nikalo mujhe" The person doesn't respond to her."Kuch bolthe kyun nehi..kaun ho tum log aur kya chahthe ho mujhse..?"The person still doesn't reply her n she hears that person has made steps towards a chair probably(which creaked when dragged) n sat on it at a far distance from her.She gets irritated n speaks more loudly still struggling to remove her binds.
"Tum janthe bhi ho ki main kaun hoon?(A sigh can be heard from the person).Huh!!Mujhe kidnap karne ki himmat kaisi hui tumhe..u idiot..stupid..(Another sigh from the person)kaun ho tum aur mujhe yahan kahan leke aaye ho?Kya chahthe ho tum mujhse..(after a pause)wait let me guess paise ..right?(with a sense of disgust then controlling herself)Tumhe jitney paise chahiye wooh main tumhe dedoongi ..mera parivaar tumhe mooh mangi kimmat de dega..wooh mere liye kuch bhi dene ke liye tayar hoga..(this time a grunt can be heard from the person)chod do mujhe..please..chod do mujhe..please(requesting n crying now)"
When the person doesn't respond even now..her cries turn to anger "Mat bolo..jab mera parivaar yahan aayenga na tab bologe..sirf bologe nehi rovo ge bhi..( the person chuckles)Main bhi dekhti hoon kitne din tum mujhe yahan rakhoge..mera parivaar abhi tak mere liye Mumbai ke har ek kone mein talaash raha hoga..ek baar wooh log yahan aa jaya..tab dekhlene kya hoga..wooh mujhse bahut pyaar karthe hain..mere liye kuch bhi karenge..kuch bhi..(with lots of love n confident on her family)"
The person gets fed up of the girl's lecture n makes way to the door..seeing around that the girl is safe n that she can't escape from anywhere the person closes the door.
In the heart of Mumbai..stands a big mansion of a well-known very rich businessmen.. everyone in the house seems to be worried.The door of a room opens n a person comes out talking on the phone worried n in anger.
"Inspector sahab ..aap samajthe kyun nehi hain..agar priya ka foto.. hum press aur media mein denge toh bahut problem ho jayega.."(angrily)
On the phone inspector replies "Dekhiye Brahmanand ji agar nehi denge toh pata kaise chalega wooh kiss jagah hain..wooh kahi bhi ho sakthi hain .."
"Samjhne ki koshish kariye inspector sahab poora parivaar ka izaat sirf priya par hain..agar priya ka kidnap hone ka khabar milenga toh ek baar sochiye log hamare bare mein kaisi baatein karege.."
After a thought inspector replies "Main samajh sakta hoon..theek hain jaise aap kahe .."
Sighing n answering again.."Haan aur jitna bhi ho sake iss baat ko failne mat dena..saari mumbai mein jitney chahe ho.. log bhej deejiye ..jisne bhi priya ka kidnap kiya hain wooh bach kar bhaag na nehi chahiye..(angrily)koi aur khabar mile toh batadeejiye..rakhta hoon..dhanyawaad" he looks around worried n spots his wife n daughter-in-law sitting on the sofa with the same worried look.
His wife looks up to him n asks.."Priya beta ka kuch khabar mila?"(still crying..her daughter-in-law supports her)
"Nehi devyani..kuch khabar na mila..(she looks sad n closes her eyes)vidya(his daughter-in-law looks up to him)..gaurav kahan hain?"
"Pappaji..wooh bas office se aate hi honge..unhone abhi phone kiya hume.."Just then gaurav enters.."lo..aa bhi gaye".He smiles a bit seeing vidya n goes to place where his father is standing.
"Pappa..maine apne kuch logon se baat kiya hain..wooh bhi priya ko dhoondhenge..(brahmanand nods)aapne inspector se baat kiya?"
"Haan,,karli maine..foto press mein bhejne ki baat kar raha tha wooh"(angrily)
Devyani goes near him n speaks eagerly.. "Toh bhej deejiye na photo..agar kisine priya ko kahin dekha hoga toh batadega..jitna paise ho hum unhe deedenge.."
"Nehi devyani..yeh sahi baat na hogi..(she looks confused) priya ka foto dekhkar bachane wale log kam aur dushman zyaada honge..uske paise ke liye..log usse kuch bhi karenge.."Devyani looks horrified at the thought what someone can do to priya for her money.
Vidya interrupts her thoughts.."Kya paise ke liye log sach mein itna gir sakte hain (innocently half thinking n half questioning to herself)?"(standing up n coming near them)
"Paisa ke liye log khud ke parivaar ko bhi daav laga sake vidya''(after a pause looking at devyani who looks extremely sad than before at her husbands words) apne parivaar mein jo hua wooh toh dekh hi chuke ho na?"(with disgust)
Devyani controls the situation n talks.."Iss bare mein koi aur kuch nehi kahega..hume priya ke bare mein sochna chahiye..pata nehi meri bachi kis halath mein hogi..(closing her eyes n praying)hey bhagwan priya ka raksha karma ..usse kissi tarah ka pareshani mat dena.."
Gaurav sees his mother getting tensed n knowing she is a heart patient asks vidya to take her inside..
"Vidya..maa ko andar leke jao..aur aaram karne ko kaho"(vidya nods seeing him n takes devyani inside)
"Aayiye mummiji ..aapne poora din kuch nehi khaya..kuch kha leejiye..aur aaram kar leejiye"
Devyani n vidya leaves the room..while brahmanand is looking outside the big window lost in his thoughts..garurav goes near him n talks slowly..
"Papa..aapko kya lagtha priya ka kidnap kaun kar saktha hain?"
"Jisne bhi kiya ho..usne Brahmanand jhakkar se panga zaroor liya hain..main usse kabhi chodonga nehi...."(grunting his teeth n looking extremely angry)

"Mujhe nehi khana.."
"Chup Chap Khalo warna.."
"Warna kya..haan..kya karloge..tumhari dhamkiyon se mein darne wali nehi hoon samjhe.."
