Part 6

The next three days passed fastly with arranging things and shopping,inviting guests and sending required materials to the farmhouse in advance so that all arrangements doesn't get hampered later.Jhakkars along with priya start from the pradhan mansion to the farmhouse located at outskirts of Mumbai a two hour drive.

All are very excited for the marriage as it is first auspicious n big occasion happening in jhakkar's family and also happy one in house after priya's father's death.

"Chalo chalo sab log gaadi mein baith jao..imli tum aate waqt theek tareeke se sab band karke aa jau..aur haan watchman se kehna ki sab theek thaak dekhle." Devyani asks imli to take care of house..

"Jee madamjee main sab dekhlungi..aap jayiye"devyani smiles…imli has been working for many years now in their family and she trusts her more than anyone.She sees gaurav coming from inside busy on his cellphone..

"Gaurav tumhare dost kab pahunchenge?"

"Maa..wooh kal directly farmhouse pahunch jayenge ..maine unhe directions dee diya hain"he sits in car..Brahma who is sitting in another car gets irritated with delay n shouts..

"Devyani..ab chal..jaate jaate raat ho jawegi..shuru toh howe yahan se"

"Jee bas aa rahe hain..(she sees aditya coming n ramlal with 2 heavy suitcases)Aditya zara yeh saamana iss gaadi mein rakhdo.."

"Deejiye mom.."ramlala n aditya keeps the suitcases in the sumo's backside.Devyani is about to sit in car when she sees priya is not there inside..

"Aree..Yeh priya kahan gayi..priya..priya beta.."she calls her.Priya comes rushing from inside.

"Bas aunty aa gayi..mere saaman sabhi rak diya.."

Devyani nods and shows backside of sumo..aditya gets irritated that he lifted two big heavy suitcases of priya?

"Yey tumhara hain.?(Priya nods)kitna saaman chahiye do din pehne ke liye tumhe?"

"Tumhe kya main kya pehnu?Agar tum dulhe ki bhai hokar achcha nehi dikhna chahthe ho toh main unki saali banker achcha dikhna chahthi hoon..got it"with attitude..

"Ab bas ..Priya ..chalo baith jao uss gaadi mein..(priya sees her suitcases one time hoping aditya will not do anything with it and goes n sit in the front car)aadi tum akele aa jaouge?"

"Mom main bachcha nehi hoon..aur iss gaadi mein toh samaan bhara hain..do se zyaada log toh waise baith nehi payenge..aap jayiye..main aa jaunga"

"Theek hain aadi..agar raste mein problem ho gayi toh phone karlena ..ok"

"Ok mom jayiye aap.."Devyani sits in the car with priya at back and Brahma infront.Gaurav who is in another car has already started.

The car is about to be started when priya realizes something is missing and asks to stop the car..

"Aunty ek minute..main kuch bhool gayi..main bas abhi aati hoon"and she runs out of car.

"Priya kya bhool gayi..batake toh jao..priya.."devyani asks her but priya's already goes inside..aditya who is waiting for the front car to go also sees priya going inside.After waiting for 10 minutes he gets impatient n comes out of car n goes near devyani who is waiting.

"Yeh priya kahan gayi mom?"

"Pata nehi..keh rahi thi kuch bhool gayi..lagtha hain deer ho jayegi"devyani says worriedly..brahma gets irritated now.

"Yeh priya kahan chali gayi?Pata hain kitni deer howegi ab?(He thinks for a while n says)Aadi..ek kaam kar tu priya ko apni gaadi mein le aa..hum dono aage chale jayenge..hmare kuch mehmaan aaraahe hain..accha na lagese agar hume wahan nehi rehe.."

"Yeh theek rahega..aadi tum priya ko le aana theek se…"devyani says to aditya who agrees after a thought.

"Fine mom..aap jayiye main leke aa jaunga usse,,"

Brahma talks to driver to move.."Ab mera muh kya dekh raha hain..chalana gaadi..chal"they too start while devyani again says to aditya to come safely with priya.

"Theek se aa jao aadi.."

After another 10 minutes priya rushes from the door with something in her hand and sees car has left and sees aditya sittting on his back leaning on the car's front and waiting for her probably.

"Wooh log chale gaye..mujhe chodkar"she asks innocently..aditya smiles seeing her then comes back to his mocking tone.

"Ab tum itna jaldi aajaougi..toh unhe toh jaana hi padega na?"

"Very funny..ab main kaise jao"

"Meri gaadi mein..chalo"walking towards driver's seat.But priya doesn't move a bit.

"Mujhe nehi aana tumhare saath tumhari gaadi mein."

"Nehi aana hain..very good..main akela hi chala jaunga tumhari bak-bak se toh chutkara milega.."

"Mein bak-bak karti hoon..(getting angry)main toh tumse baat hi nehi karti hoon.."(making a face)

"Haan sirf chilathi hoo.."(casually)

"Hmf..mujhe tumhare saath nehi aana hain..main ..main aajaungi..tum chale jao"He sees her and thinks to leave for a moment but remembers devyani's words and tries again.

"Dekho mom ne kahan hain tumhe le aane ko warna mujhe koi shauk nehi chada hain..samjhe..aake gaadi mein baith jao"Aditya goes n sits inside the car n waits for priya who doesn't come and is seeing around..he honks for few times..she sees him n turns around again not noticing.

"Akhiri baar bol raha hoon..agar shaadi dekhna hain toh aajau..warna pata nehi kab pahunchogi..shaadi ke din(after a pause) ya fir shaadi ke baad?"

"Shaadi ke baad?Oh god..(seeing the sky and cursing)yeh tumne kya kiya..iss sarfire ke saath kahan fasa diya "

Aditya at the same time says "Lagta hain mujhe akele hi jana padega"

"Ruko.."she thinks for a moment and sits in the car.Aditya smiles and starts the car and says..

"Seat belt?"

"Mujhe pata hain..(keeping the seat belt..aditya laughs seeing her and priya says with a attitude)waise main tumhari dhamkiyon se nehi aayi hoon..wooh toh vidya deedi bura man jayigi issilye..aur gaurav jeeju..aur devyani aunty aur uncle..aur…"

"Inshort..sab log?"teases aditya..

"Haan.."with a pout.

They start..priya tries not to look at aditya's side and sees outside the car all time though sometimes glances on his side when he is not looking at her.They get out of mumbai's evening traffic and enter to the outskirts where there is greenery and trees all around..priya smells the air and closes her eyes thinking.Aditya sees's her and get's lost for a moment.. but sees her lost in thought and clutching tightly in her hands something inside her dupatta ..while a tear drop's from her eye.Priya wipes it before it reaches her cheek.Aditya couldn't understand the reason for the tear and he has never seen her like this from day he came,she was a very lively girl never emotional and has lots of attitude.He tries to make a conversation.

"Ahem ahem..(Priya comes from her thoughts and sees him)Waise tumhe itni deer kyun ho gayi aane main?..aisa kya lene gayi thi..(seeing her hands under her dupatta)kya hain?"

"Kuch nehi"a bit seriously.

"Achcha..kuch nehi toh fit tumhare haath mein kya hain"trying to know the reason behind.

"Kahan na kuch nehi.."she says more sternly and sees outside..aditya gets back to the mocking tone and asks her."Achcha..secret hain..Boyfriend ne diya kya?"(smiling)This makes priya react.

"Mera koi boyfriend nehi hain ok..(loudly)aur yeh ..(opening her dupatta where a heart shaped locket is there) yeh locket hain..(in slow tone)papaa ki akhiri nishaani hain..main bas isse alag nehi hona chahthi..issle alag hothi ho toh lagta hain unse alag ho gayi hoon."(opening the locket n seeing the picture inside it)saying slowly.

Aditya sees the locket in shape of heart which when opens shows priya and her parents picture's when she was a child.she was between her parents and smiling widely.Priya gets lost in the picture reminiscing those moments.

"Tum apne papaa se kabhi alag nehi hogi priya..wooh toh tumhare dil mein base hain ..tumhari yadoein mein..tumhari muskurahat mein.. tumhari khushi mein.."

Priya sees aditya differently..his words touched her deeply..it was true..her father was always there for her no matter what.Aditya tries to distract again..he sees a dhaba and stops the car by it's side.Priya sees him asking what?

"Chai piyogi?"showing the dhaba.

"Yahan..iss dhabe mein?"

"Aur nehi toh yahan tumhare liye barista banwau?"

"Very funny"

"Dekho mujhe peena hain..main toh jaa raha hoo..(he gets up from seat and makes way to dhaba..sees priya is still sitting..so he says to her)aana hain aao toh abhi aao...fir main beech mein kahin nehi rukunga"

"Kahin nehi rukoge?Argh..ok aa rahi hoon.."she closes the door harshly thinking how in a moment he changed his attitude..he curses him again "Sarfira" and comes inside to dhaba.

After getting freshen up..she comes and sits opposite aditya on the chair ..looks around and finds very weird sitting there in a small dhaba like this n adjust herself.

"Tumhe isse achchi jagah nehi mili?"coming a bit near to aditya and asks him.

"Jagah mein kya hain..yahan bahut achchi chai milthi hain."he calls the waiter/server to be exact passing by.

He asks to aditya.."Bhaiyaji boliye kya chahiye?"

"2 chai ..malayi marke..aur kuch pakode bhi"

"Abhi laya jee..arre oh 2 chai malayi markeee "

The server serves them 2 tea's and a plate of pakoda's ..while aditya drinks tea enjoying every sip of it..priya looks outside and inside the glass thinking..and seeing aditya drinking so easily.

"Piyo..mera muh kya dekh rahi ho.."

"Do you think this is …u know hygienic"

"Tumhe lagta hain sirf achchi restaurants mein khana hygienic hota hain..nakhre mat karo..chup chap pilo..bahut achcha hain"Priya makes a angry face listening to him.

"Main kahan nakhre kar rahi hoon..main toh bas..ok..hmm…."see's aditya looking at her with eyebrow's raised ..so she drinks the tea..and it really good.

"Achcha hain na.."seeing priya enjoying the tea.

"Haan…haan..ok.(not still agreeing with him ..she sees him eating pakoda's too).aur yeh kya hain.."

"Pakode..aur kya..?khao..bahut tasty hain.."Priya looks at them for a moment and eats it..she likes it and takes another one but its hot.

"Arhhh…ouch"water coming from her eyes as her tongue gets burn.Aditya notices and gives her water.

"Arre sambhalke..jal gaya kya..le lo paani piyo..piyo..ab theek hain..tumbhi na priya dekhke kha nehi sakthi."

After drinking a glass full of water..priya says.."Dekhne se garmi ka pata lagtha hain kya?Mera mooh toh jal gaya"

"Achcha ek kaam karo thandi lassi piyo..(he calls the server)arre bhaiya 2 thandi lassi..aur haan jaldi le ayiye"

He gets them quickly..aditya gives the glass to priya "Piyo achcha lagega.."

Priya takes the sip and feels better …she drinks the whole glass in one go and also aditya have his glass.When priya keeps the glass down she sees aditya is having a moustache of lassi and she laugh's.

"Tum has kyun rahe ho?"

"Tumhari mooch.."

"Achcha..mooch sirf meri nehi tumhari bhi hain.."

Priya sees her self and they both laugh together wiping the lassi..Aditya gives the bill and gets in the car.

Priya sits in the car and seeing him still smiling..says "Thanks"..

Aditya is about to tease her again but sees that she is saying genuinely ..he smiles and says "It's ok".

After an hour more journey they reach the farmhouse..its very big and has many small quarters beside the main big bunglow,where the marriage is going to take place.The arrangements are already started and many workers are decorating the place with flowers,curtains,shamyana(tent),lightings etc.

When aditya and priya get down they see devyani welcoming some guests and showing them the way..she comes near them.Guarav and brahmanand are talking to some other guests to comes near them,

"Aree,,,aadi..priya aa gaye tum log.."Brahma comes near them with guarav.

"Chalo saaman andhar rakhwao..(she calls a worker)aao priya.."says devyani.

"Ek minute aunty..(talking to worker)bhaiya yeh sab tum ladki walon ke quarters mein pahuncha dena..ab se main bhi lakdiwalon ke taraf se hoon"

Devyani sees her and then smiles..

"Theek hain jao apni vidya deedi ke pass..waise hum apni bahu ke saath tumhe bhi daheej mein le jayenge"

"Haan..haan.tab ka tab dekh lenge..ab toh main jaa rahi hoon...ladki walon mein shamil hone.."

Aditya says teasingly.."Toh khayal rakhiyega ki jab hum aaye toh khatirdari achche se ho..warna baarat wapas le jayenge"

"Arre..dekhthe jayiye..ki aapki khatiredaari kitni achchi tareeke se karenge hum..especially aapki"seeing aditya and giving him back.

"Aur meri?"Asks guarav.

"Arre jeejajee (keeping a hand on his shoulder) aap toh hamare VIP hain hum sab toh aaphike intezaar mein rahenge..dekhyiye aap kahtiradari aise karenge aise karenge ki aap apni shaadi ko kabhi bhulenge hi nehi"

Guarav says."Babre..wooh toh dekhna hi padega ab.(talks to aadi)Andar chal na aadi…tumse bahut kaam hain."

"Ok bro..Jayiye jayiye priyajee aap hamare liye tayariya karke rakhiye.."

"Hmmff..(showing attitude and hugs devyani and says bye to them)bye aunty..bye uncle.."she goes to the opposite quarters from where jhakkar's live in.

In brides' quarter's:

Vidya's father – kailash,is quite busy talking with workers for arrangements etc.

"Namaste uncle"touching his feet..

"Priya beta..aagayi..tum andar jao vidya ke pass..main abhi aata hoon"showing he is busy with work.

"Jee uncle"going to the room of vidya.

"Arre haan beta,tumhare dost bhi hain wahan.."

"Ok uncle..main mil lungi.."rushing inside room to meet vidya.

"Vidya deedi…."who is sitting surrounded by lots of her friends and aunties hears priya's voice.

"Priya aa gayi..kab se intezaar kar rahi thi main.."

"Wooh toh usss sarfire..(coming near)ab chodo na deedi..aa gayi toh hoon.,,(hugging her) achcha yeh sab chodo aur yeh batayiye.. kal kya kya rasme hain.."

"Subah toh kuch nehi hain priya ,,haan par shaam ko mehendi aur sangeet hain.."blushing a bit.

"Haaye..haayee.kitna sharmati hain hamari dulhan..zara apni suhaag raat ke liye bhi bacha ke rakho beta" some of auties there tease vidya and all starts laughing and priya enjoys it the most.

"Wowo..yeh shaadiya bhi na bade mazadeer hoti hain na."

"Kyun beta tumhe itni jaldi hain toh hamare mein baat chalau.."

This time it's turn of vidya and priya's friends to laugh making priya startle..

"Baabre..main yahan nehi reh sakthi...guys(going near her friends) hume kal sangeet ki poori tayarikarni hain..chalo yahan se..isse pehle koi mere liye ladka yehi bulade"

"Mujhe koi problem nehi hain agar koi handsome sa banda mujhe iss shaadi mein miljaye toh merit oh life fit ho jayegi"priya's friend sushma says..while all laughs.

"Arre..sushma meri bhi hoon tere baad number main..zara meri liye bhi kisisko chod dena.."says priya's another friend vandana,all laugh's again.

"Vandana..chup kar tu..aur chalna..bahut saara kaam hain.."she drags all her friends and some other vidya's for preparing.

Vidya asksa.."Arre..priya suno toh kya hone wala hain kal..batao toh.."

Priya stops near the door and says."Wooh..toh surprise hain..chalo chalo.."

Vidya sees her thinking what will be the surprise but soon all other aunties start teasing her and she gets lost in them.

At night:

Priya's room:

Thinking in her room about tomorrow..

"Kal na bahut mazaa aayega..vidya deedi ko hamara surprise toh bahut achcha lagega.."She then remembers her all day with aditya..and how he was really helpful to her.

"Yeh sarfira bhi na..kabhi kabhi itna attitude deta hain aur kabhi itna achcha ho jata hain..(thinking of how he said about her father's locket)"A smile comes on her face thinking about it and soon turns to a chuckle remembering about the lassi's moustache.

"Pagal ho gayi hain kya priya ,,akele akele has rahi hain..so jao so jao kal bahut kaam hain"

Aditya's room:

"Ladki walon ki tarafse …dekhlene Miss.Nakchadi tumhari achchi tarah se hijamat na kee toh mera naam bhi aditya nehi.."The teasing smile becomes a sweet smile when he thinks how sweet she was looking when she asked if everyone left without her innocently and when they both laughed seeing the moustache.

"Poori tarah paagal hain wooh ladki..itna attitude dikhathi hain aur ek pal mein ankhn se ansoon bhi aa jate hain..main toh isse kabhi samajh hi nehi paunga..(remembering her face expressions and gets lost in them).

"Yeh kya ho raha hain main priya ke bare mein kyun soch raha hoon..uffoo"shaking his head and proceeds to bed to sleep.

Next day:

Aditya and Guarav are coming laughing downstairs..when they see devyani is busy with some work.

"Arre mom aap yeh kya kar rahi ho.."coming near her and guarav asks.

"Yeh..shagun ka mehendi hain..tumhari hone wali biwi ko dene ke liye tayaar kar rahi hoon..shaam ko mehendi aur sangeet hain na.."smiling.

"Woow..functions bahut mazaa aayega.."says aditya taking a juice from a worker and drinking it.

"Mazaa?tumhe kyun aayega bhala..yeh toh sirf ladies ki functions hain..gents not allowed"

Devyani smiles teasingly..

"Yeh ladies na humesha khud enjoy karthe hain akele akele.."says guarav sadly.

"Exactly bro..aur bechare hum mard baithe baithe bore ho jate hain.."

"Ab rasam toh rasam hain ..tum bore ho jaye na ya ho..mujhe bahut tayariya karni hain main jaa rahi hoon.."

Devyani leaves..but aditya is still thinking..

"Aadi kya soch raha hain.."seeing him thinking.

"Yehi ki hum sangeet mein kaise gussse"with a smile.

"Par…"starts guarav,,

"Uffo bro aapko jaana hain ya nehi..boliye."

Guarav thinks for a while he hasn't seen vidya till now and wants to see her..and he nods slowly..but asks..

"Par hum sangeet mein kaise jayenge?Wooh toh ladies sangeet hain?"

"Jaana toh hain ab koi na koi tarika zaroor dhoondhna padega."

"Aadi..kahin tumhari tareeko se hum kahin fas na jayee.."

"Bro..aap itne darpok hain..chaliye saara zimedari mere pe daal deeiye..main shaam tak koi na koi intazam kar loonga..main bhi toh dekhu iss ladies sangeet mein hota kya hain akhir"thinking of a plan.

Precap: "Yeh light achanak kaise chali gayi..ab tak toh thi."

"Bro..mujhe kaisa pata chalega..main bhi toh aap hi saath hoon aur aap mere pair se apni pair nikaliye ..ouch"
