My friend also mentioned very clearly that she was punished for the mistake she committed, but no, that does not mean she was a horrible person with a tarnished character. well is there any citation that supports this because her thought process before going to karna doesnt show this

she in very clear words is saying why will he(karna) not do something beneficial to his brother's(pandvas)

she isn't saying beneficial to himself

but if you are not going by citations alone and reading in between the lines one can come up with several interpretations of every action of every character so no point in discussing if one is not going by the citations alone
