@Diala can u pls tell me which page u posted the citations in? And by sayibg i dont care i mean if we look deeper into the words then the real meaning comes out... Not for Karna's good? But to weaken him right? (I guess thats what citations said?!) But weakening him would do only good to him... and why do u say Kunti wanted karna to be killed? U are actually saying she was a murderer? Why? Umm..sorry if u hqve explained before..maybe i missed it..

Brish.. citation on page 9.. How will weakening him bring is good? She wanted his heart to slide towards the Pandavas.. she thinks Bhishma loves Pandavas, Drona loves Pandavas, so let me also make Karna love them.. which means she wanted Bhishma Drona and Karna to be in the same state of mind while fighting Pandavas.. nowhere she thinks about bringing Karna..

If bringing him to her side and thereby saving Pandavas was her intention, would you think a mother will immediately come up with plan B and say it is ok if you dont come to our side, but promise me you wont kill the 5? and best part is after getting the promise and leaving she again tells him 'dont forget you promise ok?'.. knowing how firm Karna is with promises also she restates dont forget it.. which makes it clear what her original intention was..

ok now upto all.. if you wanna paint mother's love which I nowhere see and say 'she dint think so because a mother cant think so', then I am not gonna talk anymore in this thread..

I stick to my opinion.. Kunti is a Sinner when it comes to Karna in all angles.. I have stated it with strong sources and am not here to change anyone's opinion.. but I was challenged.. hence the answers and explanations..

Isn't that a punishment for a mother? She may not have wailed, but she must have cried for her dead son? I'll ask again, for a woman who never revealed to the world who Karna really was, told her sons that day that he was their eldest brother, why did she do that? For glory?

If she really wanted to save Karna .. she could have easily revealed the truth to Arjun. She wanted only her 5 sons to be safe and didnt bother much about Karna

No , as per my opinion Kunti was a great mother and she did alot of sacrifices in her life .
Yes she did a mistake by not accepting Karn in front of everyone but as
riti4u said one mistake cant make anyone bad. 😊

How silly! Kunti is not so stupid. You need to understand her motive first. If she is going to tell this to Arjuna, then we are sure Arjun would say no to the war. No war would happen. And who would be the gainer? Duryodhan!!!! Karna would support his friend, Yudhishtir and his brothers would not fight the war, he would leave claim to throne, and Duryodhan would become the King! Why the hell would Kunti allow that? She wanted her sons to be safe, but she also wanted them to win! She wanted Yudhishtir to be the king! How on earth would she leave the throne to Duryodhan???? She wanted Karna to join the Pandavs, then they could easily defeat Kauravs. Or if Karna would say no to war, then the Pandavs would defeat the Kauravs anyway. So this wat Kunti's plan would be successful! She wanted her sons to win! After so much of the full mahabharat, how d hell can she reveal the truth to Arjuna? Both her plans would be unsuccessful! Yudhishtir would say no, making Duryodhan the only gainer. She wanted Larna to be on his brothers side and also wanted her sons to rightfully claim the throne.

The topic to judge, if a character is right or wrong, has two sides and the arguments always reach a dead end, In an attempt to prove your point, members are NOT allowed to put down others views, agree to disagree.

Criticism are part of discussions, but here the criticisms are leading to bashful comments against kunti's character, which violate forum rules. There are few comments which were comparing and discussing Karna Arjun , with Kunti's perspective, which are NOT allowed.
