Funnily enough, Yudi ACTUALLY became the king of Hastinapura after the dice game/vastraharan fiasco, the 13 year exile, and the war...so much for a guy who staked Draupadi.

if Krishna himself did not punish the Pandavas for Draupadi's sake, that is understandable. But Yudi not only survives Kurukshetra, but also becomes THE KING, AND performs the ashwamedha yagya after all that...😕

At least Bhim could've been the King of HP post-war as a punishment to Yudi, right? I know it's a useless punishment, but still...

No actually, the punishment for all the five was the 13 years exile, so Yudi's punishment period was over before the war so he became fully eligible for Kingship.

I am not talking about the exile...I am talking about punishment for staking Draupadi...or is the exile considered to be his punishment as well for staking Draupadi?

12+1 year exile was the penalty to be taken up by the team that loses the second dice game.. it has nothing to do with staking Draupadi.. I read somewhere that Yudishtra did a penance in the exile.. but am not sure if he did that to punish himself or out of his personal interest..

WE are actually talking about Karmic punishment, not the penalty of the game..
The penance was done to gain Akshayapatra.

So, doing penance will clean you of your sins, All Duri and Dushi had to do was to do penance right after they have committed a crime.

If we do not see Krishna as a GOD, he too had double standards.

12+1 year exile was suggested by Duryodhan/Shakuni.. why would they be bothered about punishing Pandavas for staking Draupadi?
if Kauravas had lost the game, they would have gone on the exile.. though they would have not staked their wife..
what you say might be about his penance which am not sure of..

if we talk about Karmic punishment it makes all the Pandavas same.. am not sure how many will agree that all the Pandavas were equally responsible for Draupadi's humiliation.. any why Draupadi had to go with them? why was she punished over and above what she got in the dice hall? How is Bhima same as the other four?
for Akshayapatra he prayed to Suryadev.. I dont think it was a penance.. guess he recited 108 names of Suryadev.. someone in the forum said abt the penance.. I could not recollect reading from the book...
