That was interesting indeed!!! . I too had thought that pandu was impotent prior to the Rishi;s curse but hadnt got to the point of it being psychological and not physiological. Never heard of that dreaded disease rajayakshma. Was it some sort of STD? Yudis views on women are disgusting 😡 When did that conversation take place b/n Yudi and bheeshma ? Post Yudi's marriage or before!? 😕 The answer to that would be significant. Why the heck did an apsara have such horrible views about women😲 Misogynyat its extreme 🤢 I wish the writer had made his guess about Arjuna's biological father clearer. It left me wondering

I found it interesting because his speculations on Pandu's psychological profile are very probable.

Rajayaakshma is Tuberculosis.

As for Yudi's view...I am not sure but I do understand how a kid could be scarred by some childhood memory. Not much is known about Yudi's childhood growing up...did he see his mother/step-mother interacting with other males for the purpose of niyog, Did he sense the conflict between Kunti and Madri. As Pandu was impotent and his wives were scared of his death...they might have avoided intimate interactions, did that leave an impression on his mind. Did he sense sexual frustration in his mother or father?Did he sense his father's dissatisfaction with him in any way... Being the oldest he would have been privy to many things that others were not.

There are several very interesting articles on Boloji...while I can only take a guess at their validity, they do make for a very interesting reading.

So its TB that killed Vichi! TB can be contracted more commonly through other routes like simple contact, aerosols so why should Vichi's indulgence with his legally wedded wives be blamed for it!
Pandu and Yudi both may have had similar views on the subject. That could have influenced Yudi's treatment of Draupadi. I wonder what dharma justifies it all !

Some indo versions give practical reasons for all the births of kuntis children.
Kunti coming of age the time durvasa comes to her kingdom. And they go hand in hand with keralite ver. And bheel mb with what could have he done to her as she was his student too.
Karna being the biological child of durvasa while the other three are biological children of pandu with all the gods being the 4 spiritual fathers.
About the virgin thing, some versions say that lord surya had karna being born from kuntis ear.
Weird.

Yudhi being exposed to disturbing and gross matters in his childhood is accpetable.Being the eldest and clever minded, he could have seen, heard and understood things that a child shouldnt know about.
And eldest child in the family have a natural tendency to keep the youngers away from any tension between parents.
Living in a hut in the forest with mom, step mom and daddy who were all quite miserable in their own ways, tension between the women, arguemnts with pandu over things a child shouldnt know about.:/
