Understand this.

God is shapeless?😆 god very much has a shape. It is just that he comes back to his Original form after his Avatara is over. The speciality of Krishna was that his form was the Original form of the Lord. But since he was born as a human, he had to leave that body and return to the heavens. Ok I have confused everyone now. Forget everything you read.

@Aradhana: What Bhishma did was acceptable based on the customs of that era and also based on the rules of the Svayamvara. This is as per what Bhishma narrated to Duryodhana later about what happened in the Amba-Ambika-Ambalika episode. Those days a prince could have more than one wife. As per the rules of Amba and her sisters' Svayamvara, it was called ViryaShulka. Though there was no contest, the prince who could prove he is the one who had highest valor would win the princesses. And definitely no prince fights alone. He brings his body guards and soldiers and the armies fight. As far Bhishma he was always committed to the royal family of Hastinapura and so he gave permission himself to fight on behalf of Vichitraveerya. The point is that day also Bhishma was senapati of Hastinapura and later also in Kurukshetra war which was fought for Kuru king Hastinapura. This was Bhishma's point of view.

How did kunti conceive karna through sun god?

When she was very young she served the sage Durvasa who impressed by her devotion gave her the mantra to invoke any God and get a son from him. While alone the innocent kunti tried to test the mantra and see if it worked and so she invoked the Sun God (surya dev). Surya dev appeared and gave her a son who was his ansh. I've read somewhere that the baby was born out of Kunti's ear so that her virginity remains undisturbed, and so his nme was Karn (ear).
Whatever way it was , but Karn was born to Kunti and Surya dev did make sure that Kunti's virginity remained undisturbed. Poor Kunti did not know what to do with the baby as she was unmarried, and having a kid bfore marriage would be bad for her and her family's reputation. So she put karn in a basket and left it in a river.

I m having this doubt for many days hope anyone of you clears it-
I've heard that draupadi was an avatar of Goddess Kali (parvati). In some versions she is a combined avatar of 5 goddesses including Parvati's Kali form. But then why Shiva didn't take any avatar or sent his ansh on earth to marry the avatr of his wife? why she's married to ansh of other Gods? Like when Vishnu takes an avatar his wife Lakshmi too takes an avatr and gets married 'only' to him and no one else (eg: Ram -Sita, Krishna- Rukmini)
Shiv ji is the ideal husband and loves his wife dearly so it seems strange to me if he allowed his beloved wife's avatar to be shared by other men?

No...Draupadi was not avtar of Parvati.I think it's wrong info. Then question about Shiva's arrival is out of the picture.

At times Ansh of Goddess means they have their Shakti, power, need not be the Goddess herself. They are born for a purpose. Ma Kali's main aim is destruction of evil. sinners. Draupati emerged from Yagya kund. Drupad had asked for a son. Draupadi emerged after her bro. She came to fulfill her aim only. So here Parvati- Mahadev, equation doesn't apply.

Actually Draupadi was a combination avatara of Saci, Svasti, Hree, and Usha (The wives of Indra, Vayu, Dharma, and the Ashvins, in that order).
Regarding Parvati... in the Garga Samhita it is written that Parvati was born on Lord SHiva's order as Jambavati! This was because once in a Mahasabha of the GOds, Parvati had seen how happy Lakshmi was with Vishnu, and thought how Lakshmi would be feeling. So SHiva told her this. And so she was born as Jambavati.
