Episode 447 Discussion: 9th December 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size and colors. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters, or multi-colored font for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

Just a few quick thoughts on today. I couldn't sit through it all...

So RK is considering himself a failure, and is unable to come to terms with Madhu's success, and the thought of losing her to fame and success. Never mind that it was his idea in the first place to get her into films.
He has emotionally distanced himself from her. Refuses to give in to her efforts to make things right. Maybe on purpose, so that he doesn't tie himself to her and open himself up for pain again.
And perfect timing for a vulnerable, down and out superstar - a tight roping acrobat makes her entrance into his life. Dolphins, acrobats, what next? Sorry, the bad after-taste from 🤡 presence has not dissipated for me. This seems to be the female version.
How far will CVs go, I wonder? Will they push the envelope some more, given that its RK, and not Madhu's character that had to be preserved? I'm kind of repelled. Will be switching to WU's and quick fly-by viewings for the near future. Unless things start to look palatable and interesting - but that may be too much to ask for.
I'm heavily biased - I admit it. But I wasn't particularly impressed by the new girl.
I did like that Madhu stopped crying. 😃 You go girl!

I think I'm in the minority but I have again..kind of developed a new zeal for watching MB..something in it is inspiring me again n i have started feeling the connect again..haan phir se 😆 i know i gave many ultimatums to quit but but but...

Firstly, RK is the soul of the show..if someone hates him for whatever reasons it's okay..but I find this character and his antics quite intriguing..whatever he says or does , no matter if it's weird, it carries some meaning..like this one dialogue which he said today "Madhu, you are again trying to play God God with me"..i dunno how many got it but this is the truth..n I'm glad they do acknowledge the stupidities of Madhu and it's consequences and RK understands all of it...when RK was banned, s he was the one who came forward with her "main sab theek kar doongi" jaap and landed herself and RK in this soup..n again she said this toh b hagwan jaane kya anjaam hoga 😆

no matter how repulsive the audience gets from his extreme kind of actions and reactions but the truth is tht he is a layered character n it's impossible to understand him completely..he innermost feelings come out in the form of frustration but they have a base...he's not a shallow person..there is a lot more to him than his arrogance, insecurities and vulnerabilities... the writer has a good grip on this one character n i'm thankful to them for this..

yet again, i felt tht they read our reviews and incorporate some views ..like the other day Subashni and I were discussing tht Madhu can never be Arohi (of Ashiqui2) n S said ke she remembers Arohi saying "agar woh upar nahi uth sakta toh main neeche giroongi"..and Madhu said almost the same dialogue today...

first the highlights then my 2 cents..

RM near the lake..Madhu wants to start afresh while RK tells her that it's not possible...too many impressive dialogues..

Madhu telling him "main tumhare paas aaongi, agar tum mere paas nahi aa sakte"

RK "tum phir se bhagwan bhagwan khelna chahti ho"

"tumne is duniya ko nahi chuna, is duniya ne tumhe chun liya hai"👏 the first time he told ke he saw a spark in her eyes when she was being applauded, he was cent percent correct..and he knows that today she may say that she wants to be a housewife but one day she will get sucked into this kameeni duniya...he has tasted success and he knows how it is...a normal person can never stay unaffected...

his mera bacha jaap was irritating, he may be deeply affected by it but not showing...this is just a ploy to show tht he is emotionally distancing himself from Madhu n using this girl as distraction..this part i can never understand...tht he cannot be convinced tht nobody was at fault..if anything, his baby's death should have pushed him closer to Madhu bec. if he was able to feel her pain, then his pain wud be belittled...

Madhu back in RK mansion , pahleez, spare us the horror, dun ever do this mistake of showing her as the docile sacrificing wife ! I personally feel she should give some space to her husband , in a hurry to set everything right, she may end up committing another blunder...and it may also push him in the other direction...

breakfast table...the two witches didn't get the time to celebrate over the blink and miss separation of RM? whatever !

the new girl...well they dun have to make her entry overdramatic..like bhai...woh kambhakat kuch kehta nahi tha and this girl doesn't shut her mouth..i hate such ppl...actingwise she's okay..lookwise, just about okay, no match to VD...she looks like his little sister...characterwise, okay, uptil now...i dun trust nautanki ppl. to develop good supporting characters..n she is negative from the outset so...another bhai in the making?...but if they make it a biwi no. 1 contest, i'm all for it...go for it Madhu, time to show ur junoon...

sorry for the long boring review, but i got a bit senti today reading the spoilers...the only one thing which came to my mind was "balanced equation" ...RM are not a balanced couple..neither can Madhu shed her mahanta, nor can RK change himself...at some point, he will develop an inferiority complex and feel guilty that he's too bad while she's too good...i saw the glimpses of it happening today...again his frustration will come out in some ugly way..lets see...

no Meenu, it was not his idea to get her into films, it was Mehul Chopra's idea...later, he wanted her to do this film bec. he had no other option..he was making the film with Simmy bec. he had faith in his own capability...

he never insisted her to take up this role, instead , opted for suicide..it was Madhu's decision to help him...no matter how big a loser he acted, he didn't force Madhu... he was happy when Madhu said yes to do his film and he wanted her to focus on her role...but launching her as a heroine and the "next big thing" was never on his mind...the popularity which Madhu got was totally unexpected, he thought tht the film will hardly recover it's investment...now he doesn't want to lose her to fame and success so what's wrong in his thinking?😕

liked today episode but too much repetition of the same dialouge Rk "MEIN NAHI BHUL SAKTA" and "Madhu ek nayi suruwat."Rk's dialouge on the lake side was very emotional so i think he make it clear today he is not jealous of madhu but his fear of loosing her to stardom.ButMadhu Plzz don't repeat the dialouge "Mein sab thik kar dungi" it sacred me because whenever u said this dialogue only the opposite happen .Going by the diaoluge of Madhu to Bittuji i think this time we might be lucky to see junnon of Madhu for RK,Plzz cvs don't shatter my dreams i really want to see how madhu will show his junnon for RK.Everyone has seen RK's junnon during Sultan track now its madhu turn.Is it necessary to show us pabho and deepali while this love bird are fighting.About the new entry nothing to say.

I loved today's episode... surprisingly i liked madhu too today 😲 ... though rk's bacha jaap didnt make much sense to me 🥱 rest of the episode is good...👍🏼

new entry definitely better than sultan... like u all i too wanna see madhubala's junoon for RK...it will be really good...todays episode made me to remember last year episodes somehow...may be i am wrong

NO he is not talking bakwass. In fact a simple girl like Madhu would never comprehend it. He has lost his innocent wife to stardom forever.Never again he is going to get back the girl for whom he is the duniya and everything. no matter she acts in future or not. Nothing could be the same as before.She is not the same girl whom he fell in love with. No matter what prompted her film entry the outcome for him is disastrous and least expected.Another clunk. It did"nt occur to him when she was made heroine or at least when the s story was made heroine oriented However he completely made sense to me.and if we don"t take his baby jaap literally.In fact he is pushing Madhu from him This is not a simple jealousy or insecurity. Madhu in her usual world of making everything alright. which would backfire as usual.

R.K switching off the light was another sign of emotional distance. MAdhu is a different person who should not be scared of darkness. this is worse than physical separation.or anger. Madhu cajoles with parathas .she is still clueless of what went wrong.?I am appalled this PDA couple discussing their personal problem in the dining room? that too a sensitive one amidst whole family? It made the whole scene silly .Poor execution. Had it been in their room it is another good confrontation.

R.K accuses Madhu of being all right in 3 days. So only 3 days have passed. in MB land. Hello what has he been? Reading some random girl's diary and visiting her in the hospital.Where was his grief then? Clunk

@Charu. Good review. Madhu simply copied Aarohi's dialogue but never in the world would develop Arohi's perception and maturity.😆

@zoya. I could get a glimpse of R.K you wrote. Going by this episode I pity Madhu and accept she has to be the one on a pedestal.

R.K and the girl. No comments. I am not ready for Sultan Part 2.Actually my break from the show starts today.I could not resist writing after watching old R.K(complicated not Kameena). The show is not finished. It could take a meaningful and interesting path from here if they are not on MAHANTA ROUTE. But not much hope. Madhu already declared she will make sab kuch alright.🥱I only wish it is not a joke like previous tracks. So I today enjoyed the R.K who attracted me to this show.

I don't know why but I liked the dialogue RK said on that lake to Madhu. Like one dialogyue of RK je mentioned that some people have to struggle a lot to get stardom and work in glamour world (he referred himself there) and some people it is easy for them (he referred Madhu here. Somewhere Madhu got recognition in over night because it was RK's home production. Everyone went to see how and what RK made and this is how Madhu got stardom)

Another dialogue I loved is that nasha one - He said this stardom is like intoxication. You cannot run from it. That life had chose you. You are not my Madhu anymore. I felt bad there.Somewhere he is right even if they tried to set the things correct they will not able to. What happened in media. How media making hype of small issue in this couple life. It always happen. People and everything had forced him to make him feel low and now Madhu is at top. Even if she try to reach to RK she will not able to. The glamour world is calling her. Her fans will never allow. This is irony for every public figure they have to share their partner to the world. RK never have this habit to share and specially Madhu so he cannot stand this.

Then when Madhu sat I will come to you and sat beside him RK turn to face her. That eyes was only showing pain to lose her. He knew that future which Madhu do not know. He knew because he had lived that life and that is why he do not want to break badly and so distancing himself from before for the sake of his own pain. It happens sometime you yourself distance from the person you know you will never get from before. Here but Madhu wants to try but RK lost the battle of their love. He turned other side show he will leave her and go away from her life one day I feel so.😭

Here when RK said Madhu is better superstar, he was sarcastic first and second when he said he will never come up.. everything finished.

He lost himself. He lost the battle even before fighting. It happens because he struggled a lot to be at top his dialogue and genuine voice was saying this but then after coming to top he never saw the failure. This is first time he is seeing and with that Madhu is going up.

People fighting with him to offer 1 crore and to Madhu she is blankly given 2 crore. How can a man expect it so soon. He will scribble, cry, shout, react and give pain to love one. He is frustrated... all of sudden his life is taken from him and given to Madhu like a cheese or butter. But why not seeing all that RK is still there. But everyone had convinced him he is loss.

He is not going for any external affair. There is thing which he cannot say to his loved ones and that is inside him. With Ria it spilled out or thrown from his mouth. His intention is still nice. Somewhere he is liking that life what superstar cannot have. After hit and then flop he want all media, fan and every attention giver to leave him alone. That time Ria came he read her life and quite impressed even he have this life back when he have to not answer his each movement to the media and fan. When people do not spoil his name, eye his wife or send him jail. He is fed up of his life. He want to run away from himself and Madhu both. He is lost and VD is playing very nicely.👏 Somewhere I do not want RK to become hit so soon. I want RK to become flop more. I want him to really see what he said today.

Madhu shining and he is seeing her from far. His pain to lose her. His junoon is still there at place somewhere he lost this battle in glamour.😳

Bold - part I totally agree with you and I want to say same... thing is changed and RK is right and not wrong on lake side.

👏Charu - Absolutely rocking analyse. I am too loving this show frankly. RK is in his layer. His reasons of action are genuine and not butchered. He is one of the complicated character and it is very difficult to write this character or play this character so I am loving from actor to writer for RK.

He knows this world and so what he said to his wife was 100% correct.
