Loved the way you tied all the loose strands of the story up to make it coherent. Now am only hoping someone from the creative side is reading this...

I loved reading all of your reviews and excellent analysis. Zoya, Soundarya, River, MM, and Dramacrazy amazing posts 👏👏👏👏!!!

Today I enjoyed the show; it was entertainment at its best (dancing, singing, punching, and of course meaningful dialogues). I must admit, Madhu's odd looks towards Sultan reminded me of that saying: too much sensibility creates unhappiness; however, too much insensibility creates crime 😛

Just realized RK fulfilled 2 wishes of mine today. One was asking Sultan the question that I have from long about his dialogue about 'Aurat and daaru' and secondly rightly calling him Roadside Romeo😆 But I want Madhtu to give him his 6th and 7th slap tomorrow and complete the weedding and revenge drama😳
Edit: BTW Sultan saw the SMS and then took time to change into party wear and come😆 Just imagine if Madhu was really in trouble and was scared😛

@bold - Question is did he or did he not believe the text message? The Don showed up with his platoon for a movie watching mission and shopping spree. At the party, on a rescue mission, he walks in without guns and goons looking like a Bollywood hero! Even if he was hiding a gun somewhere, a superstar's party has to be a maximum security event. Was he expecting to calmly walk in, take Madhu and walk out? Did he not expect a fight where he would need help from his people?

2.*madhu! this women needs to c her place in society n chk what she does with her mixed signals to two men who r rivals

@1: That would be an interesting scenario.. I remember RK taunting and humiliating Madhu at a party he had thrown saying she is too lowly to be kissed or something similar. And him saying people will wonder Madhu doesnt perform her wifely duties implying madhu lacks something. (do i remember it correctly?) And the unwedding drama where he says Madhu holds no attraction for him...

2@: I find it interesting that people say Madhu gives puppy eyed looks to sultan. I didn't find anything controversial. To me the looks she gives sultan isn't of a questionable nature.. But that's just my opinion.

I for one am glad that RK did all that drama in public in full view of all those aunties. That has kept his reputation intact while tarnished both Sultan and Madhu. Sultan, I don't care about but Madhu I do. This is a much needed lesson for Madhu as to how she will now be perceived by the society in general. The same aunties who were marveling her jodi with RK will now look at her with suspicious eyes. Consorting with a different man for a married woman is a no no and in their eyes, what RK did is justified. He did not behave evasively, he plainly put forth all the questions to Sultan. This is what society dictates that a husband takes a firm stand in such matters.

No, I have not gone mad, nor am I celebrating anything. I am a woman and understand perfectly what it means for Madhu's innocence and reputation here in this matter. However this is a bitter pill for her to taste about how her relatioship with Sultan is perceived not only by RK but society in general and it is completely up to her to take steps to rectify it. She either does that or face society's wrath against her.

Her acquital in private in front of RK and Radhaji is not enough if she keeps meeting Sultan after all this. She must change her behavior in that regard or be ready for repeat of this humiliation if not by RK then definitely by Bhujang. For now I see that her plans to leave RK have to be postponed indefinitely because if she leaves him now, she leaves with her own reputation in question. For now, they need to stay together and work this out. RK needs to do humanitarian effort to restore her reputation back in society and what he does for that, will be something interesting to watch.

For now, though he is revered by society as a devoted husband to a supposedly philandering wife, he has lost complete credibility with the person who matters him the most.

Your review is applause worthy 👏

No self-respecting husband can put up with a nefarious character barging in to his party, especially after this very character has pointed a gun at him on his way to shooting and has been seen shaking or holding hands with his wife under his own home. Sultan has impinged on RK's workplace, his home and now at his party. He has invaded RK's private space on all fronts. Keeping this in mind, I totally understand RK's outburst at the party even though I felt he did go a little bit, just a little bit, overboard in embarrassing and blaming Madhu publicly. He did let his anger get the better of him.

At the same time, I can't help but feel a tad bit sad that while Madhu jumped from a building to prove her love and trust, RK was ready to believe the worst of Madhu and not even give her the benefit of the doubt at the party. This is after he had told her not too long ago on the date that he would believe her should she jump from the building. Once the realization hits RK, which is not too far off given the spoiler, I am sure he will take steps to restore Madhu's honor publicly too.

Thanks Zoya.😊
To take the public drama further, what exactly was Sultan planning to do in private by landing up at a very public party?? Was he planning to drag her out of the clutches of a 'torturing RK', in front of the guests, media??

Quick note...before I go and watch the episode and come back with my take.

Things went exactly as I had expected...the viewer sympathy is back with Madhu and RK came out looking bad...most viewers saw Sultan as a more dignified alternative to RK.
As far as my thought process goes...Sultan's presence was bound to irk RK. Sultan said everything that was wrong...and would drive any hot blooded insecure husband into rage. Madhu needs to take a stand sooner or later...her mixed signals are screwing up life of two people but then she hides under the veneer of being a victim. If you did not know better and saw the episode for the first time...it would appear that RK is the third wheel between the lovers. I don't understand Madhu's disgust ...can she not get ...that not everyone can trust blindly? Can she not try to understand what is driving her husband into murderous rage? We have set up stage for Madhu to go and apologize to Sultan yet once again. I would not be surprised if Padmini comes tomorrow to take her back and Madhu leaves.
RK is an oddly honest person in some ways ...he does not sweep things under rug in fear of becoming social pariah. He humiliates his wife infront of all and gentry but then..this is the wife who is giving him mixed signals...this is the wife who was out in nights in some undetermined place with a stranger...this is a wife, he saw in Sultan's arms...this is a wife who choose to color Sultan over him...This is a wife who had the nerve to hold hands with Sultan at his home's gate, this is a wife who has a hard time answering a simple question...who is more important him or Sultan...this is a wife who seems to have more confidence in a gangster than him...I can keep going on. The fact is in big picture Madhu is wrong and RK right ...he asked all the correct questions...from show's perspective...he wins everyone's sympathy and did what a husband is expected to do and Madhu is a fallen woman. It is a hard badge to wear in our society. But them Madhu needed to understand what her actions will reap.
RK's behaviour disgusts us when we measure it against the yardstick of all we know...Madhu has no interest in Sultan and she is being foolish...his behaviour seems justified and in character when we measure it against what he knows and has seen.
I don't know what CV's plan is but today my heart broke at the mess between these two souls so in love with each other. We are burying each of thier good memory under tons of dirt...I have ended up in odd place in the show...it means nothing to me without them being together but I am no longer sure I can digest them being together too... and the blame lies with every single character on the show.

Great review but help me understand one point you make in your post.

@bold - When all those events took place, Madhu was not RK's wife. He very publicly un-wed her and lost all his rights as a result. Even after making derogatory remarks such as likening her to a product, how can he be justified in thinking that he can barge into her life at his whim? He believes he can tell her to jump and she will ask how high? Do you think RK continued to believe he had rights over her because he did look out for her and did exhibit concern for her during that phase.

@red - Agree wholeheartedly.

Something I read which sums up RK's feelings for Madhu.

A girl asked a boy if she was pretty, he said "No". She asked him if he wanted to be with her forever, he said "No". Then she asked him if he would cry if she walked away, he said "No". She had heard enough; she needed to leave.

As she walked away he grabbed her arm and told her to stay. He said "You're not pretty, you're beautiful. I don't want to be with you forever, I need to be with you forever. And I wouldn't cry if you walked away, I would die."

@Bold: Actually this is a very grey area from many aspects.
1) I actually went back and saw the unsavory unwedding episode...while RK says that he unweds Madhu at mandap and humiliates her femininity...he does not breath a word about it when at chawl...all he says he is leaving her forever...status unknown. When Paddy comes to mano him...he tells her he wants Madhu to feel the weight of this relationship for entire life with its hollowness which is to say she is married but is forced to live like a widow. The next day Madhu tells press that they are estranged and separated not divorce. Generally speaking saying that I unwed you or divorce you does not mean unwedding...the relationship still holds. Hindu religion allows for no provision of divorce and from legal perspective you have to be separated for a certain amount of time (6 months) for divorce to be finalized.
2)RK believes that he has right over her because Madhu 's demeanor suggests that she might be open to a recocillation eventually after initial hiccups. He has right on her not because he is her husband but more because they love each other despite all thier problems...even after all the history between them , she melts into his arms readily...is ready to stay back at his threat.
3)Yes, he was wrong to think ...he could barge in at whim but the if he was not ready to let her go ...nor was she...she stuck around him holding onto him in her own way.
4)It is unclear what the status of thier marraige was...she did not dispute when she was referred as RK's wife on set...she returns back and resumes her role and title as his wife...crazy unless...the couple believed in thier heart that they were still wed.
For the sake of simplicity I assume that they were married...because if I assume she was unmarried then that makes her return and seductive behaviour very sick.

.. Wat RK did to Madhu broke my heart.. But their perspective in my opinion. My 2 cents..
RK's perspective..
From his perspective, he saw a man with his conservative wife in many situations which screamed that something is cooking between them.. (2 sleepovers, him escorting her out of her work place with his hand on her waist, the man vandalizing his car and then 'Madhu' paying for the windscreen, their 'happy family' moments at Holi, then Madhu dazing out if their intimate moments to color him.)
then that man blocked their way toting a gun.. His wife asked that man to drop the gun, with soft eyes and tender touch in front of him. Then he saw her trying to make frantic phone calls to the same man.
Then within 7 hours she is all lovey dovey to him, which was very fishy. Next day he sees her hand in hand with the same guy in front of his own house, she tells him that she went to visit him (??? Didnt clear he dropped her home). At the restaurant the same man spots him n his wife dancing intimately. So he clearly was angry and left the place in rage.. What did that mean?
Men are intuitive in this regard, he is not wrong. Clearly, bhai has feelings for Madhu.. And RK can see that, not sure about Madhu.. 😕

Whatever, he said to bhai was fine, but he shouldn't have taken Madhu's name. Insult the Man U detest, who gate crashed ur party, but why drag ur wife in this conversation.

Where he really went wrong, was the public humiliation of Madhu n their relationship. That was way over the top. Saying stuff he said, he actually insulted himself. By washing his 'dirty' linen in public, he made himself n his wife a laughing stock. This has always been my bone of contention with RK. It's high time he learns that insulting the women of his house puts him n them in a bad light. Neither Madhu nor his mom ever gave him their piece of mind. They just stand their, opening their leaky tap.. Isn't a woman as a mother, wife, sister supposed to tell u when u r wrong? They only talk to him in the heat of the moment, why not when he is more receptive.

And my grudge with CVs... This is the same man, who would ask Bittuji to step out when he wanted to take his wife to task.. This is the same man who said about his mom that people should think over their actions so that they don't have to regret them.. This is the same man who trusted Madhu when the entire family was against her.. CV STOP MAKING A MESS OF YOUR STORY, PLEASE BE CONSISTENT.

Madhu's perspective..

Her random friend shows ip at the party. her husband hates the guy to no end, and actually doubts her to be having a relationship with her(she doesn't know the reasons for his suspicion).. She asks him to leave. He is about to go, but that biatch Dipali says her instigating shit. Her crazy husband, having trust issues and problems with anger management, started spouting shit against the man. She tries to stop him but is unable to. And that friend just stands there 😕 why didn't he leave from there to spare us some misery..? Then her crazy husband hits the man. Just to prevent things from getting ugly, she gestures to him in a requesting manner to cut this out. The friend leaves.

She wasn't wrong today. It's just the things she did in the past unknowingly are raising their ugly head. She doesn't see what is clearly visible to her husband. That man is falling for her. She thinks it to be a humane gesture, but it's strongly laden with his attraction and feelings for her. She is plain stupid to not understand that.

Now CVs are just playing with us by making her give those looks.. But bhai doesn't impress me..

He came to the party for his 'friend' who according to him is in trouble. Fine!! But he had time to change into designer wear decking up for the party? How about calling his friend and checking with her if he had time to change or he was needed ASAP, or if she really needed him there?. Dose he not know that her 'abusive' husband hates his guts?? What if husband gets annoyed at him showing up at the party and in lieu of that beat his friend black n blue. That's wat he actually think he does??? According to him, RK beats Madhu.. Btw Did he see them standing together happy and very much in love? I am sure he conveniently overlooked it.

Then when he realized that he was uninvited, he turns to leave like a true gentleman. I would give this to him. Thanks for using some sense. But then that 'abusive' guy starts to spout random crap. He just stands there n listen. Why didnt he just LEAVE? Why was he letting his friend being humilated because of his esteemed presence?
Then he spouts a dialogue! Justified! Why should he listen to RK's crap? Then RK hits him. He gets mad but looks at Madhu's helpless gesture and refrains himself from hitting him back. Really good. And just leaves..

Now he has been a husband, and a man who has been on his own since a very young age. Why doesn't he get a simple thing that his involvement is creating problems for his 'friend'. Okay she saved ur life but apparently she is trying to save her marriage. He should leave her alone. And try to stop dreaming about her..

On this note, I think these two people should take time out. After today, I am disgusted by RK's behavior. They need to work on their issues.. From RK's side it's his weird love, and his possessiveness for which he can't tolerate her with another man.. He needs to get his act together. Actually, Madhu's sugarcoated behavior makes him doubt her. And he like all of us knows that she can do crazy things in her stubbornness, so the jump was not proof of her love but her craziness.
He has to accept her craziness, because this is the woman he fell for and can't let go!! I could see that he has been trying but it's not enough.. If he can plan a revenge for 6 months, he can plan a way into her heart as well..

And Madhu needs to clear her stance. If she wants to take revenge, just leave RK n go. Let him kill or burn himself. Otherwise, this is the man she fell in love with. Take it or leave it. But please spare us some horror..

After today, I am really mad at the CVs for ruining the Rishbala story for me. But as I said I am not here for a bhai bala track and wish they can start to reverse this crap. I am tired of bhai being glorified at RK's expense. Even Sikky was not spared. He was supposed to be happy with Madhu in Rk's life but to accommodate bhai, he changed his stance in 2 days..😡
