Oh Abhi! Congratulations on being a man today. After many days - indeed almost the entire duration of this show - of pitying you as a spineless coward, today I can actually respect you a little bit for opening your mouth and taking responsibility for what you created. Praise be to the CVS for finally bringing us to such a day. Congratulations to you for acting like a mature adult and decent human being

Of course, I may be congratulating you too soon. I hope to hear the rest of your truth tomorrow. "Daadi, Pragya was never pregnant because there is no such relationship between us. I married her for your sake but I never meant for her to be my wife. In fact Tanu has been my girlfriend this whole time and now she is pregnant due to my mistake and I intend to support her." How redemptive - and how minimally decent - it would be to see you make a clean breast of things. I hope for it but don't expect it. CVs begrudge us such gold.

Still. Please accept my partial congratulations and thanks for your partial steps today. Well done Abhi. Keep it up and you may deserve to be seen as the hero Pragya believes you to be and that the CVs want us to think you are.

He is no hero. He is a wreck of a man. But he has a good heart and some heroic moments. Today was one of them.

It is a sad state of life when someone earns applause for taking responsibility for his own actions, but CVs have created the dynamic such that we must be profoundly grateful when Abhi makes the smallest gestures to doing the right thing.

"She is pregnant due to my mistake and I intend to support her" why does he need to say this, Mina? She is pregnant due to her mistake, not his! Should a woman marry a man if he got her pregnant when she was under alcohol?

He also should tell Daadi he married Pragya under a Aalu driven MU.. not completely due to Daadi's force. And would Pragya share with Daadi the MU continued with her saying she is in love with Purab etc.. as he boasted Tannu???

But mostly he won't say all this, because whatever it is, the mistake is still his, given the way a baby thing gets looked at.

The mistake was keeping Tanu in his life and putting her in the position to claim it's his baby. He thinks it is his baby and he has pledged to support Tanu (to her and and her parents and in front of Pragya) so yes, he has to publicly take responsibility.

He keeps saying he wants to fix his mistake of ruining Pragya's life. Taking full blame for his own actions would be a first step. He cannot undo what he has done but he can be honest about it.

Arrey tia calm down ..I can understand ur pov..abji only responsibility is towards pragya not a b**** . So he took up his responsibility and saved pragya from insult and hatred

He did not really assure Tannu's parents much. He bought time and sent them away. He even refused to do a private engagement for their sake. It more seemed like an act to send them away and not let them reveal things to Daadi and cause her health damage.

Abhi can not make it right for Pragya by supporting Tannu (as in a marriage/husband sense) or holding himself responsible for Pragya's sad marriage. She doesn't even want to move on and marry someone else.

Living a life of honesty defines a man. Taking responsibility for his actions before others act in his stead defines a man. Not waiting until moral outrages pile on top of each other to form a Mount Everest defines a man.

Hiding and telling lies and buying time and fearing the consequences defines a scared little boy.
