Abhi deserves a congratulations...He is the proverbial boy with his hand in the cookie jar and for the first time he is accepting the consequences for taking those cookies. This time was always going to come...when he would have to stand up and "man up" to his mistakes..does that mean he was less of a man before? No definitely not...but he has done some growing up which is commendable.
He is most certainly starting to redeem himself somewhat...because for the first time he has said the truth...not part truth, nor a manipulated truth ..Pragya never had an abortion because she was never pregnant. There was a mistake. The report wasn't hers.
Will he tell Dadi the entire truth? Probably - as per the promo and short IV yes he does so we'll have to wait and watch.
Is it his fault? Yes he is equally to blame...Pragya is being sacrificial yes, but she's doing it because he's not doing anything about his mistake, A mistake that he doesn't really know how to tell his family so he's asked her to keep going for Dadi's sake, but the truth is there is pressure from Tanu and her parents. If he didnt want to marry her, he should have been concise about that. By asking for time especially by threatening is not the way to go. Yes her parents did the same..but they want to see their daughter married to the man who promised that he would marry her.
She's never blamed him after all there had never been a confession from him to say that I dont love Tanu I love you...if he wanted to nip that in the bud...there were many opportunities for him to tell her..instead he decided to play games..make her jealous when Tanu was in the house, not cut her off when she mentions over and over how he loves Tanu, by becoming her friend(which I think is a step in the right direction)
So much more that Abhi needs to be accountable for...after all saving the day is not enough in my eyes for the actions during, but for this one courageous step...Congratulations.
