Part 5-
Abhi stared at the sight before him. He looked into the eyes of his Chashmish and got lost in them. He still couldn't believe she was there but he felt a relieve spread within him that he had been begging for the past month of Pragya's absence. He walked towards her and hugged her. That feeling he knew he would never forget. God knows how long they stood like that before Pragya broke the hug and looked at him. Abhi too realised that there were still many questions unanswered between them.
"Where was you? How come you are here now? What happened?" Abhi asked all at once.
Pragya took a deep breath before explaining how Tanu had pushed her off the click, she had asked for her help and she had laughed, she had fallen and had woken up in a cottage where an old man had looked after her for a month and now that she was well enough she was standing in front of him. When she finished Abhi was horrified. How could Tanu have done this to his chashmish?
"I will not leave her!" Abhi screamed and was about to leave but Pragya managed to stop him.
"No Abhi, by doing this won't get us anywhere; I want to punish her as well but by making her own up to her mistakes herself." Said Pragya but most of all she was glad that Abhi had believed her. She hadn't expected him to do so.
"Yeah but how?" Abhi asked.
"I want to see how long she is able to stay without owning up, we will make her tell everyone herself but for that you will need to marry her." Said Pragya
"Are you mad? I can't marry her because I don't love her... I love you." Abhi yelled in anger and realised what he had said.
Pragya was happy to hear this. "I... I love you too." She confessed and Abhi hugged her again.
"Then why are you telling me to marry her." Abhi whispered to her in anger.
"I'm not, stupid. It is part of the plan. You need to act as if you are ready to marry her and she will be happy... Then I will scare her each night in her flat saying that I will kill her and scare her. You know the typical bhooth stuff and then at the engagement party I will do so again and I am sure I will manage to get her to reveal her true image to everyone. That way we will have proof as well." Pragya finished explaining and Abhi looked at her stunned.
"But what about Daadi? Abhi questioned.
"Don't worry I am sure she will want your happiness after that incident." Pragya said.
"But where are you going to go now?" He asked.
"I have rented a room near here so I will go there." Pragya said sadly.
"But your house, family and everything is here in our house." Abhi said. "Come inside and we will tell everyone the truth."
"No Abhi, we will only tell them after Tanu's revelation." She said worried in case someone would tell Tanu. Abhi didn't want to let his chashmish go after all he had found her after such a long time.
"How is everyone?" Pragya asked.
"They miss you, even Aliya." Abhi told her. "Your family weren't ready to believe anything and we need you back." Abhi admitted.
"I promise I will come back soon." Pragya said sadly. "Meet me near the mandir tomorrow morning because we need to start our plan as soon as possible."
"Okay, take care." Abhi said, feeling his heart sink. He hugged her again and as she left Abhi noticed she was limping slightly. He called out again to ask her what was wrong. She turned around and said it was because of an injury after the accident. Abhi felt like killing Tanu at those words. He watched Pragya disappear into the darkness before going back inside. He was going to make sure Tanu paid for her sins at every cost.

Part 6-
Abhi woke up early the next morning and after freshening up went out to the dinner table. Everyone was shocked to see him outside and smiling. He knew he shouldn't look too happy but who wouldn't be when a lost loved one spoke to you when you didn't expect it. The family was glad that he had come out and moved on at last. Abhi hugged daadi goodbye and left for the mandir near his house.
When he arrived he saw the back of a girl wearing a salwar kameez and walked towards her - he knew it was his chashmish. Her long hair curled and bouncing loosely, a slim body and just the right height. As she turned around Abhi hugged her feeling complete once again. Pragya was covering her face slightly with her dupatta and took his hand and they went to a quieter place just in case someone from their family was there. They looked at each other for a long time before Abhi asked her what they were going to do. Pragya had spent a lot of time thinking what to do to Tanu before making a plan.
"Right." Started Pragya. "Tonight when Tanu is probably out busy with her modelling shoots you and I will go to her flat. I think you have a spare key or something right?" She asked
Abhi nodded and Pragya continued. "When she comes in you have to sneak outside and the rest I will do myself. If you hear Tanu scream or shriek or something then you have to act as if you have just come in and comfort her. Then propose to marry her and I am sure she will agree." Pragya finished while Abhi stared at her astonished.
"But what if she figures out we are together in this plan." Abhi stated.
"Stop thinking about the negative side, nothing will happen. Just act really casual. Okay?" Pragya asked and Abhi nodded in agreement.
"So whats the plan for the rest of the day?" Abhi asked.
"Umm... nothing much really." She said.
"Then do you want to have lunch with me?" Abhi asked. He wanted to spend as much time as possible with her.
"Fine." Pragya agreed.
Abhi took her to a quite restaurant so they would be able to talk in peace. No one really ate much. Abhi asked her where she had been for the past month. She explained to him about the old man and how he had treated well in order to recover.
"I don't know where I would have been without his help." She said
"Don't worry, now your back I will never leave you alone again. What I am worrying about now is how I am meant to face Tanu. I don't even want to think about her without feeling the urge to kill her and yet I am going to have to propose to her." Abhi moaned
"Abhi, you have to do this. Please, for me?" Pragya asked
"It's not that chashmish. Of course I will do anything for you but I am scared. What if Tanu tries to do something to you again." Abhi said
"Nothing will happen to me" said Pragya, taking his hand in hers. Abhi held it with the other; he knew he would never let anything happen to his chashmish again.
That night just as Tanu left for her modelling shoot Abhi and Pragya sneaked inside. Abhi had the spare keys making it easier for them to enter and as they both went in Abhi asked her what to do next. Pragya was wearing a white suit - just the right colour for a bhooth. Abhi had said it looked too plain and Pragya had argued that she was acting as a bhooth not a bride. After that pointless argument they had finally decided what Pragya was going to wear.
"All you have to do is turn the lights off at my signal. Then once I leave you have to act as coming in and comfort her." Pragya told him one more time before going to hide in another room. Abhi too hid because Tanu shouldn't get to know he was there already.
They heard Tanu coming in a while later and got ready. Tanu walked in and went straight to her bedroom. She got changed and came out. She turned the TV on not knowing Abhi and Pragya were present there as well. She sat down casually in front of the TV. Pragya signalled Abhi to turn the lights off and he did as told. Tanu got up to turn the lights on but Pragya crashed a vase on the floor. Tanu called out into the darkness. "Whos there?" She called walking towards the noise. Pragya moved to the other side and slammed the door shut. Tanu turned round and to her horror saw a woman. Her face was covered with her hair and she began to walk towards her with a lamp.
"Who ...a...are.. y...you?" Tanu asked shivering.
"Your death." Pragya whispered moving her hair out of her face. Tanu was horrified to see Pragya.
"You?!?" Tanu shrieked. "H..how... come? Yo...your.. dead?"
"Yes and back to take you with me." Pragya whispered. "I will kill you." She began to walk towards her with a knife while Tanu backed away. She dropped to the floor and covered her face with her hands. "Leave me!!" She shrieked.
Pragya ran out of the room and signalled Abhi to go. Abhi went out and opened the door again and called Tanu's name not wanting to make her suspicious.
"Tanu!!" He called. He heard her shrieks coming from the other room. He opened the door and saw her screaming on the floor.
"Don't kill me!!" She pleaded. Abhi felt happy to see her like that but forced himself to sit next to her.
"Tanu what happened?" He asked.
"Shes there!" She yelled pointing into the distance vaguely.
"Who?" Abhi asked
"P.." She managed to stop herself.
"No one's there." Said Abhi helping her to stand up. "Look."
Tanu was surprised to see nothing, all the lights were on and everything was normal.
"Are you okay?" Abhi asked.
"Yeah" Said Tanu and he led her to her bedroom.
After she had calmed down she too realised that Abhi had arrived after a long time. "I phoned you so many times." She said. "Where were you for so long?"
"I'm sorry, I know I should have spoken to you. Actually I wanted to say something. I have been thinking about it for sometime now." Abhi said and forced himself to carry on. "Will you marry me?" He asked finally.
"Oh.. Abhi" Tanu squealed. "Yes!" She hugged him but Abhi didn't hug back. He saw Pragya from the door motioning him to hug her and smile. Abhi felt horrible but the sight of Pragya managed to get him away. He imagined Pragya instead of Tanu and hugged back.
"I love you Abhi!!" Exclaimed Tanu breaking the hug.
"I love you too." Said Abhi, deep down he knew he was saying this to Pragya not Tanu. Pragya smiled at Abhi before leaving to wait for him outside.
"But Abhi... What about Daadi?" She asked. "Because of Pragya she may not..."
"Don't worry. I will speak to her and I am sure she will listen to me this time. I think it's time for us to move on from the past." He said.
"I guess your right!" She said and hugged him one more time. She tried to persuade him to say the night but Abhi said he needed to speak to Daadi and managed to leave before she asked him to do anything further. As he came out he was glad it had all gone well and saw Pragya waiting for him outside.
"Did it go well?" She asked.
"Yeah, but you don't know how hard it was for me to comfort her. I felt like punching the life out of her" He said in anger. "Anyway... come let's go. I will drop you at your hotel."
As they both got in Abhi noticed Pragya holding her finger in pain. He saw that it was bleeding and asked her how it happened.
"Oh nothing I was picking up the vase I smashed and the glass cut me." She said
Abhi put her finger in his mouth so it would stop bleeding and covered it with his handkerchief.
Once they had arrived at the hotel Pragya was about to get out but Abhi stopped her.
"Whats the plan for tomorrow then?" He asked
"Oh yeah." Said Pragya. "Ummm... You need to convince Daadi about the marriage and then inform Tanu. Arrange the engagement and then phone me. That way we will know what to do next."
Abhi hugged her one more time before she got out and left.
"I just hope Daadi will agree." He hoped before leaving in his car. He knew he had a lot to do the next day.
