Part 8 (final chapter)

Abhi came out ready with the sherwani Daadi had given him to wear and walked downstairs to talk the guests. His eyes wandered around the hall and he saw Bulbul arriving with the rest of her family at the door. He could see they were not happy but he knew he couldn't do anything about that yet. He would have to wait for some time. He walked over to them and hugged them all. He didn't know what to say so he went away as Daadi came over to talk to them.

Tanu had arrived and was dressed up in expensive fashionable clothes clearly trying to show off to all of her friends that had come. Abhi remembered his engagement with Pragya and how she had looked so simple in that purple saari. He wished that he had put the ring on her hand with the right intentions but he was glad that all was going to be well in between them by tomorrow.

He saw Pragya hovering behind the wall and she beckoned him over.

"Listen, you need to make Tanu go into your room somehow. All the cameras are in place but she isn't." Said Pragya

"I know but how?" said Abhi. "I cant exactly tell her to go in there can I?"

"I don't about all that. Ask Bulbul she is an expert when it comes to making plans" Said Pragya and left.

Abhi walked towards Bulbul and told her the situation he was in.

"Don't worry Jiju. I will sort that out." Bulbul assured Abhi.

Bulbul picked up a glass of orange juice and walked towards Tanu. She purposely tripped and bumped into Tanu splashing orange juice all over Tanu's dress.

"Are you blind? Do you realise how expensive this dress is? You wouldn't even have seen that amount of money in your entire life!" screeched Tanu.

Bulbul was about to open her mouth to shout but Abhi came to handle the situation.

"Tanu, why don't you go and get changed in my room. I did buy you another dress better than this one." Abhi told her.

"Thanks Abhi." Said Tanu and glared at Bulbul before walking away.

"You..." Bulbul was about to speak but Abhi stopped her.

"Bulbul, calm down. Let her go. She doesn't know what it coming her way now." Said Abhi.

"Sorry jiju." Said Bulbul. "But its just the very sight of her. I feel like yanking her stupid hair out and then strangling her."

Abhi laughed at her.

"You know what your anger is just like chashmish." He said

"Of course Jiju, I am her sister you know." Bulbul laughed before walking away.

Abhi walked towards his room wanting to hear what sort of drama was going on inside.

Inside the room Pragya was hiding behind the curtain waiting for Tanu to come out after getting changed. She heard the bathroom door open and got ready. The lights went off and she got the candle out before stepping out and walking towards Tanu who could not see her. She touched her shoulder and she turned around shocked to see Pragya in front of her.

"YY... You." She shouted. "How are you here?"

"Just like every other person is." Laughed Pragya

"No but your dead." Said Tanu beginning to step back.

"No, when did I die?" Said Pragya walking towards her.

"You cant be real." Said Tanu. " I killed you with my own hands. I pushed you off the cliff then how the hell are you here?" screeched Tanu.

Pragya walked closer to her and Tanu covered her eyes shouting for help and Pragya left.

Abhi saw this as the cue to walk in and did so.

"Tanu." Said Abhi. "What happened? Why are you screaming?" he asked.

"She's there look." Tanu pointed but was surprised to find everything normal.

"Who?" Abhi asked

"Oh nothing." Said Tanu.

They both walked down and everyone was glad to see them. Abhi looked around and saw Pragya giving a thumbs up sign towards him.

Daadi beckoned everyone over as the engagement ceremony was about to start. Everyone gathered around but before the rings could be exchanged the screen turned on. Tanu was surprised to see it was of her coming out of the bathroom. Everyone went quite and turned to watch.

When the clip finished everyone was shocked beyond their wits while Abhi and Bulbul smirked to themselves watching Tanu's face turn pale white.

"I..its fake." She cried out. "P..Pragyas dead."

"No she isn't." Abhi spoke up.

Daadi and Sarla maa were all confused with everything that was going on.

"Will someone explain what is going on?" Daadi asked.

"I will..." Came a voice and they all turned around surprised to see Pragya standing there.

"P... Pragya!" Excaimed Daadi. Sarla maa's family and Daadi all walked towards her.

They all hugged her and kissed her not being able to believe that there Pragya who they had thought they had lost long ago was standing in front of them.

"But how did this happen?" They all asked.

Abhi began to explain how Tanu had pushed Pragya off the cliff, an old man had helped her, she had come back and Abhi had helped her along with Bulbul to show what this Tanu was really like.

Abhi turned to Tanu and slapped her.

"This is for trying to kill my Pragya." He shouted

He slapped her again.

"And this is for breaking my trust as well as everyone elses." He shouted " I know it is wrong to slap a woman but you deserve worse than this because you are not a woman. You make me feel sick."

"So what?" Tanu shouted back. "I tried so hard to get rid of this stupid Bhenji." She carried on explaining all of her plans which had failed her and Abhi was surprised to hear what else she had done in the past. "I even tried to kill her but she got out again." She walked towards Pragya and grabbed her by the shoulders. Abhi pulled her back in anger.

"Don't you dare try to even touch her!" He shouted "You disgust me Tanu."

The police arrived at that moment and arrested Tanu. She screeched and shouted but no one listened to her. Even Aliya didn't help her, she didn't want to be friends with a murderer. She was taken away and Abhi felt relief overcome him. He turned to Pragya who was standing there. He got the ring and put it on her hand.

"I know I have wronged you as well in so many ways and the last time I put this ring on you hand I didn't have the right intentions but this time I don't. I promise I will keep you happy for as long as I live." Said Abhi and hugged her. Everyone clapped and Daadi was glad that at last her family was happy. Her wish had finally come true...
