Part 4-

It had been exactly one month since the incident at the holiday. The news of her death had horrified everyone. Even Aliya was shocked. It was true she hated her but she couldn't help but feel sad and guilty for her death after all she was the one that had brought her in the house. The sound of happiness and laughter hadn't been heard in the Mehra Mansion since... When Sarla and the rest of the family had found out they weren't ready to believe it. Their Pragya couldn't just leave them like that! They had cried and misery had fallen everywhere.

Abhi hadn't come out of his room since. All he could think of was her hand slipping and the scream. He could have helped her and blamed himself for her death. His room felt incomplete without her. He needed someone to argue with. He wanted to tease her. Everywhere he looked he saw his chashmish. Sometimes smiling, sometimes frowning, sometimes laughing and sometimes giving him that serious look. He needed to let his sorrow out but he couldn't. He just sat on his bed and stared into the distance. He had realised he loved her but he had realised too late. He begged to be able to see her, feel her, and talk to her once again. A feeling inside him wasn't ready to believe that she was dead. It felt as if she was still present somewhere but he didn't know where. She couldn't leave him like that but then he remembered the day at Diwali when she had given him the aarti. He had said to her that the biggest wish of his life was to get her out of his life. He remembered looking at the pain in her eyes and the hurt when she had said that hopefully his wish would become true. Now that it had he still wasn't happy. Daadi in her room didn't know what to think. She too blamed herself for her bahu's death. Why had she organised the trip in the first place? Why?

Tanu was in her flat angry at the turn out of events. She had killed that bhenji and she was out of Abhi's life forever but why was Abhi still mourning over her death. He had locked himself in his room and wouldn't pick up her phone. She was waiting for the day they would get married but clearly that was far away. She didn't know what to do because Abhi hadn't even spoken to Aliya. Tanu had noticed that even Aliya had started to talk less. Could she miss that bhenji as well? She fumed in anger but wasn't able to do anything.

It was dark and all was silent on the streets except one where she stood looking at the house memorizing each moment she had once spent there. Pragya was standing outside the Mehra Mansion. She didn't know whether to go in or not. How would everyone react at her turn up? She just needed Abhi's help because without it she was not going to get anywhere in getting revenge from Tanu. She couldn't call Abhi because she didn't have any phone.

She stood outside Abhi's room window and stared at it. The curtains were closed and she had no idea how to contact him. She just hoped that he would open the curtains and see her. "Please Abhi" she thought.

Abhi was in his room. This was the start of another sleepless night for him. He got up and drew the curtains to look out of the window. He would often stare at the sky. It was if it was a way he could talk to Pragya. He felt close to her by looking at the clouds. But what he saw that night changed his life completely. He looked down to see Pragya. He thought he was hallucinating once again. He knew Pragya wasn't there, she couldn't be. However this image of her seemed so much more different. She was wearing a sarlwar kameez instead of her anarkali suit. He focused his eyes more clearly and saw she was waving at him, beckoning him to come down. Shocked beyond his wits he ran down the stairs, everyone was asleep so no one paid any attention. He stormed out of the door and there she was. His chashmish was standing in front of him.
