YRKKH fame Rishabh Jaiswal had auditioned for Armaan’s role but missed it due to this reason

Rishabh Jaiswal has been winning hearts with his portrayal of Krish Poddar in the long-running Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Known for his charming presence and evolving storyline, Rishabh has now become a familiar face among the fans of the show. But not many know that the young actor had once auditioned for a very different role in the same serial.

In a recent conversation with TellyReporter, Rishabh shared an interesting piece of information about his journey with YRKKH. He revealed that he had initially auditioned for the lead role of Armaan, which was first played by Shehzada Dhami and is now portrayed by Rohit Purohit. However, the makers saw him better fit for the character of Krish.

He said, "Mene YRKKH ke Armaan ke role ke liye audition kiya tha but eventually Rajan Sir chahte the main Krish play karu because I was not that mature at that point of time. So ye bohat achi opportunity thi jo mujhe di gayi and I think I'll always be grateful for Rajan Sir and DKP production for that.

People are knowing me for that (Krish), that's the best part. I think there is a reason also why I'm getting these jobs. There is reason also why I'll get some other jobs as well."

Rishabh further reflected on how one opportunity can change everything for an actor. "Artist ka yahi hota hai, there is one break that can actually change your life - a one reality show, a one big lead, one big movie can actually change your overall future. So I think mere sar pe haath tha and ye show mujhe mil gaya out of the blue. Main abhi uska part hoon aur aage bhi hoon."

Talking about his dedication to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, he mentioned how committed he is to the show. "I'm choosing YRKKH over many such projects everyday because we have to shoot, you know, 25 days in a month. So there is a lot of work that we have to let go because of this. So I'm choosing YRKKH every freaking day, every morning to evening for 12 hours a day."

His passion for acting and gratitude towards his team clearly reflects in his words. While Rishabh may have not become Armaan, he has surely carved his own space as Krish, and fans continue to admire his dedication to the show.
