While so much of this chap is just completely new, even the scenes that are the same feel SO special when you read them because a) they are just awesome scenes to relive period, and b) the slightly different angle on them gives them just enough of a twist to make you fall in love with them all over again.

true. i have retained some of the scenes / dialogues for the same reason..although repetitive, they give a whole new angle due to the way the story has shaped out this time around.

A daughter! A girl! The physical proof of all I felt for my Nidhi. A tiny bundle full of life! A completely defenceless little one utterly dependant on me and would look up to me for protection! Am I even worth such a gift? ...

The news of the baby triggers a chain of memories as Ashu retraces his father's history , the love that develops between him n Nidhi, a love nurtured by youthful innocence and the integrationist spirit as the realities of painful past and fears reassert themselves; and Ashu's own awakening to the fears and doubts that exist. Propelled by a desire to understand n reassure himself that he is not his father he wants to move n take a step forward towards his daughter...against the backdrop of tumultuous inner conflict,he even works to turn back the mounting despair of fatherly love within him.

i loved the lines "beti hue hain mujhe..mujhe dekhna hain..mujhe apni beti ko dekhna hain." but his feet refuse to move..fear..ek baar pakadle badi mushkil se choot ti hain..

There is necessity of healing old wounds, and the possibility of faith in the midst of adversity , with Nidhi who is playing, and will play, an increasingly prominent role in healing a fractious and fragmented past!she fights and uses whatever she has to reclaim her love. Unselfish, she pushes to get back everything that ever belonged to her ,who in her humorous, vivacious and larger than life way, made attempts to console Ashu

and she draws strength from that same love..

Now YOU happened Ashutosh! You and your seeming indifference is what happened. She is tired. She is tired of fighting and losing the battles. Aakhir kitne din..kitne maheene apne chehre ...

The best things in life hurt, because it is painful to fight your inner demons and overcome your fears. For days Ashu had been accusing himself for Nidhis condition but it wasn't his fault.He was a protective father and he loved both Nidhi n Aasha. And then we have Nidhis breaking down point. Her will her strength her hopes all end with Ashu's indifference!

true..after delivery..when she is physically weak, her emotions and hormones all over the place, she loses the one thing that she has been clinging on to..hope.

His guilt and pain washed away n the process of bonding with Aasha had me tearing up!The emotional tie that develops between Ashu n Aasha a beautiful head start. Thou for Ashu, immediate bonding after birth was not like instant glue that cements a parent-child relationship forever but a gradual slow process that came as a secondary effect to his concern for Nidh. Ashu holding and comforting the baby was a two way process Ashu promising a secure life for the baby n the baby bringing out the fatherly n sensitive side in Ashu completely.

true. it was not the usual start for Ashu and Aasha and the catalyst for him is still Nidhi and the fear that something would happen to her propels him..and once that first step is taken, his love for his child overcomes the rest of his fear.

There were times when I had to just stop and read a single sentence over and over again because it was so beautifully written. There were scenes that gave me full body chills - from head to toe. There were moments where I just closed my eyes and sat there sobbing, letting the emotions sink in.

I read n reread the chap , as slowly as I could because I just didn't want it to ever end. I was WITH the characters every single step of the way. Totally connected. Totally involved. Totally absorbed in every aspect of the story

Ur talent for writing vivid and effortlessly beautiful stories is astounding. The level of emotions conveyed in each chapter just took my breath away over and over again. U hv a gift for bringing everything to life with ur words and can write even the simplest scene in such a way that the words just sink right into your heart.Pain. Devastation. Love. Loss. Hope. Losing Hope. Finding Hope. Closure. This story has it all. Hats off for writing such a brilliant story!
