I am applauding the writers for showing that rather than Dev it is Sona who is struggling with this sudden change in their lives, and that they are focusing on the high expectations people have of mothers (especially working ones) to behave or to react in a certain way.

The other thing I'm really loving is how from the get go, Sonakshi's 'mamta' is shown as being focused on the child Soha and not any biological ties. The love and bond of a mother and child in its purest form.

We saw Ishwari scolding her for her parenting techniques before they learned about Ayush. I didn't like Ishwari questioning her ability to be a good mother or trying to find links to Ayush from a biological perspective. I know where all this is going but I think despite being a mother Ishwari was being insensitive to Sona's turmoil. Then again, none of what Ishwari did surprised me. I expected nothing less from her. Besides, without conflict this story won't move forward anyway. 😔

Soha is more than just Sonakshi's first child. She was the one who made her a mother, who helped her heal and gave not just her but the entire Bose family a new hope in their broken lives. I want to see Bijoy's take on all this (though I expect I know what it's going to be).

I am feeling terrible for Sona and Soha already, knowing what's going to happen to them. Let's see if Dev's learned how to balance things or if he'll go back to being part of a tug of war of ideologies.

I mean, now women have to prove themselves as ‘true’ mothers by being able to visualise how their unborn kids look so that they will know when it’s born that it’s the same child and not another child ?😆

Whatever Sona does , it’s never enough for Ishwari, the greatest Mother that ever lived.

It's because Sona let Ishwari get away without making amends later on, even post-leap. She brushed things under the carpet and let the past be buried. All those emotions deep down will resurface.

No one called Ishwari out on the toxic parenting that messed up her kids' minds, and even more so on the fact that she was condescending towards people who parented differently to her.

Then i guess it is time for Neha to make a appearance .in the show. 😅Neha was the only one who had the guts to tell Ishwari the truth, about how toxic her motherly love was to all her children ( including Dev).

Neha will come after Devakshi separation

Maybe this time she will play good positive role ..

A standing ovation to this beautiful write up. Especially the paragraph about what Soha means to Sona. Sona was the healer of the Bose family she brought them joy and fixed all the broken pieces.

Now in hindsight when I think about the show there were a lot of loose ends which were not really addressed maybe this season will. One was the insecurities of Easwari.

Thanks again for this beautiful writing

Talk about stereotypes right. I am a mother of two, yes the feeling is beyond what we can describe in words but even though the child comes from us the child is a separate entity so the visualization is ridiculous. Yes we imagine how our child would be, feel a deep connection because it is body within us a living breathing one but nobody can visualize it at least I did not
