Finally, I am relieved. Riya kept my expectations intact. Koi to tha itne saal Dev ke liye intazaar kiya. When little Aaru said, 'Mamu, aap itne saal kahan the. Mein aur mama aapke liye kitna wait kiya', it literally choked me up. Riya never let her bitterness with Dev get passed to her hubby & daughter. Whatever shikayatein she had with her, she kept it within her. And just a hug from her big brother was enough to wash off all her grievances. Now, I am sure. Even if what all happened repeats with Dev, Riya & Elena will be there by Dev's side. Why Elena? Because, even when all his sisters left him, Elena was their beside him as a support. Sorry if I have hurted anyone, when I said same things will happen with Dev; it's because I still don't believe that Sona has understood or tried to understand how Dev sees her. What she's now doing by trying to bring his sisters back, is a way to reduce her guilt of being a reason of the Dixit's separation. Instead, what she had to do is to bring back that lost confidence in Dev by giving him the required emotional support and maybe who knows, as time passes by Dev himself would have initiated the reconciliation process with his sisters. I think the CVs are taking the usual cliche route of making the bahu a mahan, who has forgiven everything in a moment and have again fallen in love the next moment who starts being the best bahu from the next day onwards. They don't want to show anybody criticising her; or otherwise why would have they cut off the scene where there were spoilers saying Soha getting angry with Sona after Dev leaves the engagement.
I am really sorry to say that our show is no more the old show, which used to take care of all small matters. Now, it seems like they just want to go with the flow and somehow end it. One such example is, post leap we have seen Dev talking to Neha over the phone whereas now they are showing Neha also is having a problem with Dev and it really irritated me when I heard Sona telling Dev that Neha is fine & is just waiting for his sorry...😡. What was the need of it?

@ latha
Agree I also used to irritated to see dev's guilt mode for every reason
I think dev's over emotional nature also responsible for this
He always thinks he's only responsible for everyone's situation
So it's only his responsibility to make everything alright.

@ lakshmi
Agree sona should concentrate also dev now instead of their never ending family problems

I am finding Sonakshi's expressions quite stoic these days after patchvup. Wondering if CVs are trying to show less emotional Sona. Even when she said about them being perfect something like you are my partner etc... i found the emotional connect missing .
Is it Erica getting bored or is it shown on purpose i wonder. I think they may want to show a mire emotional Sona once the truth of Vicky in their relationship breaking comes out

She is still not fully into the relationship i guess.

Last two episodes, and all the beautiful scenes between the leads, confirm how this rishta has morphed into a stable husband wife equation. I should caveat this post with a few points. I refuse to engage in any Dev vs Sona/Dixits vs Boses discussions at the back of this post. My post is aimed at covering two things. S2 Sonakshi and ek duje ke leeye bane devakshi.

Devakshi have reached a point where iqraar-e-mohabbat is out of the way. Are they married? Umm.. I don't know... She goes by Mrs Dixit in the bedroom and her own family called her that... so... Its not rocket science now is it? However, even if they aren't mangalsutra chaap married, they are doing all the things they failed to do in S1. Open, honest communication tops the list. Riya had to do a double take when Sonakshi told her Dev knew about Nikki's live in arrangement. This was the one single most important factor why their marriage lasted for a short time. Lets congratulate the makers for getting the communication into this equation so slowly that we don't even remember a time when these two would not even talk about their day. And here she comes in to check on him while he is putting Suhana to bed (because I presume she was waiting for him at the jhula where they sit and catch up on life every night).

S2 Sonakshi is person who feels hurt, wronged yet guilty all the same. She has been very guarded all along. She is helping Dev meet his sisters because Dev feels its his mistake. In fact this is exactly my beef with the sisters. It's not very hard to figure out what is bothering Dev when it comes to opening his heart to his loved ones. When Sonakshi left, Dev's soul went with her literally and figuratively. He was a corpse living each day as it came. So there was no hiding the fact that Dev was gasping for Sona and still no one did nothing (I refuse to accept that Sonakshi could not be found.. this is 2010 we are talking about and these people have serious money at their disposal). He was unreachable. Sonakshi is helping him heal.

This is the very sargam of their rishta. She helps him with the duniyadari and he helps her with the chill pill. Watch that Thursday romance scene one more time. Sonakshi is not irked at him for touching her zipper. She is just saying "hey, what you up to" i.e. he is leading her into that comfort zone. Look, we won't get the sainyaan bhaiyaan chod na S1 Sona. They are a very confident and relaxed couple now. Rash Deewangi and bunking home to make out is so Season 1/pre-confession Season 2! He told off Jassi... he doesn't treat her like a guilty pleasure anymore. She was sat opposite him at the table yesterday as opposed to the far end of the table. Dev & Sona said as much that night on the jhula... their expectations and experience of love has moved on from bachpan ka pyar stage

This is a lovely show. I am prepared watch it for the depth of the story... Is sham-e-faroza ke, parvaane hazaaron hain...

Yes DQ, it is painful. Feels like I had a wrestling match with a Zumo wrestling champion. But I needed the rest badly. So it is fine I guess 😃
