Interesting episode...

Definitely not an one which just compels me to watch it in a continuous loop... In fact, it took me 2 hours to watch the episode completely...

I frankly, have no interest to revisit it... It was a good episode... And, now I know why @DQ praised this episode..

Usually, a KRPKAB episode mesmerise me but this was not the case with yesterday's episode... I needed to apply my brain and constantly force myself to reorient myself and watch the episode and understand the context of each scene...

@cscs I am one of the rare people in the Y-generation who isn't exactly fond of FB, Twitter or Instagram... Like I have mentioned previously, I am not exactly a person who you can call as a 'social' animal...

And, yes... The last 2 mins while, made me smile and relaxed, was definitely not as magical as the conversations of Devakshi in Monday's episode...

Probably, I am an exception but I prefer their conversations or subtle romance scenes which I feel, are much more emotionally powerful and enchanting...

But, for me, the star of yesterday's episode was Ishwari... All of her segments were just an absolute pleasure to watch...

Right now, I am just happy that both Dev and Sona communication channels' are still intact and growing stronger...

When we are kids, we believe that being an adult is just so much fun and powerful... Yesterday, I heard two very interesting statements that I believe that all children yearning to become adults wants to say, 'This is my home and hence, my rules' and 'You don't have the right to interfere into our lives'...

Words like 'if you call her again, otherwise, we would file a restraint order against you' sounds so cool...

And, they are... For children, these are the most awesome words to use...

But, it takes an adult to realise the gravity or the weight the true meaning of these seemingly 'awesome' words...

If an unintentional 'Get Out' could do so much damage... I can simply imagine the chaos that these words could cause...

I am not predicting anything, but I simply don't like when some immature kid who only thinks that the world revolves around themselves or have seen everything that the life has to offer, starts to lecture someone else...

And, right now, I feel like Nikki is one such child...

If the reason for her to stay away from her family was because that her family will never accept her boyfriend, then, she is proven absolutely right...

After all, why would anyone in her family will accept her boyfriend, when she didn't have the courage to even mention that she had a boyfriend (and, that too for the past 2 years) or make them understand the importance of Lakshya in her life...

It is as stupid and naive as Dev dragging Sonakshi into the family picture (before their first break up) because he believed that since he loved her.. Everyone in his family will also love her the same way...

Every relationship comes with its own journey and challenges, and it takes both effort and time for it to mature and grow...

Probably, this is why our parents or elders never use these kinds of words because they understand the complexities and intricacies associated with them... They have the power but they also understand that it comes with its own burdens and responsibilities...

We might legally become an adult when we turn 18, but it takes someone years or decades before, we actually start understanding what it means to be an 'adult'...

And, yesterday, I felt that Dev should be congratulated since he finally achieved something incredible...

He was able to gift his family, something that he never had in his life... And, that one thing is Choice...

Nobody ever asked him whether he wishes to take the responsibility of his family, when his father died... But, due to all of his sacrifices and hard work, at least, his sisters (as well as his mother and his daughter) has finally has the opportunity to decide and choose what they want to do in their lives..

If his sisters cannot be grateful for what their brother has done for them, they should, at least, be thankful to him, for at least, empowering them enough so that they can say to him, 'to leave their home or not to interfere in their lives'...

I am really happy for Ishwari since, she is now free to create a life that she wished for herself...

I know that Dev might not be completely comfortable with the idea of his mother working at such an advanced age, but he will also be comforted with the fact, that his hard work has finally paid off in the form of Ishwari finally free from the burdens of her past...

In retrospect, yesterday's episode might not be so great from a viewer's point of view... But, considering the length of my post and the subjects that I touched in my post, clearly indicates that the episode was a great source for a reviewer's mind...

To add, I liked how that scene was so kal, aaj aur kal!

While the aaj is busy solving problems at hand, the kal(past) is busy grooming the kal(future) and also looking for a purpose in aaj

I think both of them were a little defensive yesterday because they were vulnerable in front of each other, and that is something the Dixits are terrible at. Nikki was terrified about Dev's motivations for being there, that he would judge her relationship or do something drastic to take her away from the life she has built; let's not pretend Dev doesn't have a history with that kind of behavior. At the same time, she probably got very emotional seeing Dev and was worried about how much power he had to hurt her still, so she used literally Lakshya as a shield, and put him between her and Dev, before the latter could say anything at all, positive or negative.

Both Dev and Nikki were so overcome by their own fears that neither of them took the high road and really listened to the other. Lakshya also fell in my esteem yesterday. A fraught moment of reunion between two long-lost siblings is not really the time to make a quip about how quiet your girlfriend's emotional elder brother is.He really should have faded into the background at that moment, close enough that he could be there if Nikki needed him, but silent enough that Dev and Nikki could really take their time to begin a conversation. The constant reminder of his presence made Dev self conscious, and interrupted the immediate wifi signal that connected between Dev and Nikki.

but I Don't think dev was defensive. He didn't directly insulted laksh. He just demands some privacy which is not wrong . I wish nikki handle this case with maturity the way she was doing with sona.

When Dev said, Hmari toh kismat hi kharab hai.

I was like, Beta tumhari kismat nahi dimaag kharab hai.
Ab tak darwaza band krna naahi seekhe.

Who on the earth change clothes with open door. -_-

Charu.. Dev aur sonakshi ki na kismat kharab hai na dimag.. kismat kharab hotee to Soha kaise hotee? Dimag to abhi abhi theek hua hai.. tabhi to finally Dev ne public ko dara ke bhagana chalu keeya hai. He has finally stopped letting anyone treat his my-time as guilty pleasure.

Wow... This was quick...
So, one sister is back... Two to go...

Hopefully, we now might get a flashback or a glimpse of what happened 7 years back, from Rhea's POV... It will really clear things out...

I thought I may not be going to write anything about the show this week because to write something one should feel some emotions. This entire week I only have a sarcastic smile on my face while watching episodes, not a single scene or dialogue touched my heart this whole week but finally yesterday's Dev-riya scene pulled my heart strings. For the first time in this entire week, I enjoyed a scene and I was able to connect to their emotions.

For the name sake he may be brother but he took care of his sisters like a father. When they say they hate him or they are angry and need apology from him because he didn't took care of them when he is dying, I don't know what to say or what to call this unique kind of love. They really made me speechless with their attitude.

Coming to Sona and her unique style of giving support to dev, it will be really good if I won't speak anything about her way of handling dev. She disappointed me once again.

For the amazing makers and writers of this show, I hope they know the difference between "He too can make mistakes" and "He only can make mistakes". For me, this is one of the worst track of this show wrt story handling and execution.
