Sona can be true to her ch by not taking risk if she had given importance to her other ch traits also like frankness transperancy etc that Bijoy Bose boasts as Bose family traits though they are not so in reality

Lakshmi...sorry. I think since this was during the weekend, i missed to reply to this, in the last thread.

I also want Sona to open up. Till the moment Sona cried out infront of Dev's photo, I also was of the opinion that why can't she, atleast in a harsh manner, give it left & right to Dev, for messing up their lives. But, since her breakdown, the facade Sona used to wear started crumbling down...If you notice, there was a gradual change in her makeup & attire too...She had started sharing her feelings with Dev slowly...But when suddenly Ishwari asked her to force Dev for marriage, she immediately put on her guard. This is because it reminded her past days, where she was not the right choice for Ishwari and what all followed thereafter. And she again started building her facade, when Asha reminded her that Sona still loves Dev. She doesn't know why Ishwari made her do this. In Sona's view, Ishwari has asked her this favour so that Ishwari can get rid of Sona, while on the same time Asha's mention on Sona's love prompted her to think that she can't take a step in her love, as Ishwari is not in approval with it. On top of it, Bijoy was proved right, the last two times (means after returning from IN, after their first visit, Bijoy had warned her to rethink about her relation with Dev; and that night the first break-up happens. Second time also, Bijoy agreed half-heartedly only; and again the end result was their breakup). That's why the poor girl is getting suffocated between her heart's & mind's desire. She never expected Dev to proceed with marriage so fast. And even before she gets time to register all these, one by one everything is happening and she is getting shocked to the core. So, the shocks & the fears together is creating a havoc in her mind, that she is not in the right sense to take a decision. That's why I think, only Dev or Dev & Nisha together can help her, by breaking the engagement.

Yes, Sam and DQ are gem of writers (and Shaavi). ⭐️ I have no hesitation in accepting that I get inspired by their effortless analysis and dig for more... And Grace too, not only for her writing but also for encouraging to post in the main forum, which I had almost given that up!... However, I think I missed the letter-analysis by Sam and DQ, may be because I was not around. Now, since you mentioned it, can you refer me there so that I can read them and quench my 'analysis' thirst?😃

KRPKAB is really unique and engaging show, we viewers watch same show yet we have different opinions and perceptions. I guess this is a beauty of this show, one understands its narration based on their own experiences and knowledge. No doubt one individual might perceive one character differently than other person.

Yet, I am finding it difficult to understand many writers finding Bejoy more at fault than Ishwari. Bejoy was portrayed as supportive, esp to sona, and jovial father. I know he has his own sets of fault, which is the case for all characters as all characters are grey in the show. Yet, he never manipulated and controlled circumstances like Ish. He may have preached and probably enforced independence in his daughter, but in no way it could be compared to what Ish put her son and daughters through. She was jealous and insecure of her own son's happiness.
Whereas, Bejoy wanted nothing but Sona's happiness.
Yes, in season 2 he is different, but shouldn't he be? He gave his reasons to dev while he was drunk. He views himself as a failed father, who couldn't wipe his daughter's tears.
There is no denying that his ego and self respect played its part in separation and might still influence dev and sona's future relationship. But his and sona's self respect came into the picture because of dixits. If I may refer to Harry Potter, Harry decided to hunt and kill Voldemort even it meant his own death. Its because Voldemort created his own enemy, by marking Harry and killing his beloved ones.
Dixits time and again insulted boses, thus, created animosity with Boses and compelled bejoy and sona to think abt their self respect even if it meant separation.

I know Bejoy is turning bit greyer after each episode but he has reasons behind his thoughts and actions, his bitter past. Ish never had any reason yet, she knowingly tortured sona and her own son.

I am a silent reader, but I felt like writing my pov.
I don't intend to hurt anyone.
I would also like to thank all writers, all analysis makes watching Krpkab more interesting.
Looking forward to upcoming episodes. :)

The common factor between Ishwari and Bijoy is their extra meddling in the affairs of their children. Children grow up and have their own lives. Parents need to accept that. While Ishwari could be easily manipulated and also was an expert in manipulating events due to her possessiveness of Dev, Bijoy had no such issue. He was always protective of his daughter, that's all. But, as its nature's way of life, a parent holds a child till he learns to walk, then teaches him and guides him to walk and then closely monitors his movements to prevent him from getting injured. Life is not meant for a parent to always hold his child's hand. Let them free and let them learn from their mistakes!! Ishwari is now listening to her son and the pre-cap shows that Bijoy would also follow suit.

Bijoy and Ishwari are different. Undoubtedly. But, unlike Asha, both have a possessive streak and are extra protective about Sonakshi-Dev and love to interfere in their lives.

After today's episode and precap, have this thought inside me and wanted to share. Don't know whether it will happen or not, but since in today's episode they talked about engagement rings, GKBs words regarding them and how neither Dev not Sonakshi were engaged to each other in the past and the episode where Dev put the ring on Sonakshi and then takes it off himself, I have this feeling. I think that Dev has saved that ring all this time and probably hoped to give it to her on some special occasion. So they will probably show engagement ceremony for Dev and Sonakshi where Dev puts that same ring again on her finger.

This is just something that I don't know why is going around in my head. I am a hopeless romantic. 😆 😆

Dev is hoping against hope that Sonakshi is going to come and crash the engagement by confessing her feelings.

Sonakshi still thinks she is not welcomed by Ishwari as bahu and above that she still thinks she can't choose Dev,Dev has to choose her.( loved Erica's expression here) She also thinks she cannot choose him with all the baggage.

Loved Ishwari's words to Sona, not only Dev, she needs her too.Sona was like a friend in the form of nutritionist but now she has become her need for a peaceful life.

Loved but also it was painful to hear Dev's words about Sonakshi being his "aadat". I prefer the meaning of addiction than habit to aadat. Because Sonakshi is like an addiction to Dev.

Dev is not sure about Sonakshi coming, thats why he asked the inevitable question to Nisha that him being so close to Sonakshi. Does it bother her? He is hoping at least Nisha will understand and backup from the engagement.

Now Ishwari has made clear about how she feels about Sonakshi as her bahu and tomorrow Bijoy also gives his permission to go to engagement, we have to see how the emotions flows.

P.S : I feel Soha and Golu will hide the rings 😆

Yesterday's episode was again predictable. The moment Dev mentioned that Ishwari could be the reason for Sonakshi's hesitancy to accept her feelings, Ishwari had to make this last ditch attempt to help reconcile the two protagonists. Strangely, Bijoy watching the scene became relevant as he is going to finally understand Asha's words (Pre-cap). But, Sonakshi need not re-enter Dev's life with so much hesitancy. Emotional blackmail is not the reason to do this. That would be disastrous. Instead, let them have a cool off period during which they spend time with each other and also resolve Vicky-XGKB issues. I wonder if Golu-Suhana would let them? The rings could go missing now!!! 😃

So engagement drama started.. Great ! Nisha looked like more of a folk dancer than a bride to b, idk may b i'm wrong but that's wat i felt. But she's a good looking girl . Dev's suit too looked like one which had been kept since the broken engagement with Natasha. Abey, yeh Dev Dixit ..ek entrepreneur hai ki nahi ?? Poor poor PH !! ( or may b due to lack of time n our hero's indo visits )

One thing i liked is Shaheer's voice modulation. That was excellent. He sounded very much like one who's emotionally very disturbed n cried a lot . The same way he sounded during Sonakshi's engagement with Ritwick.( First i thought was he having some cold n throat infection? ) I'm glad that makers r looking into those minor things . This time Sona had put dark blue nail polish on her nails too. Decode karna hai toh karo 😛

Ishwari n Sona scenes.. Supriya jii was excellent. Sona cudn do much in that but it was a wonderful scene. Ishwari maa ki saari galtiyaa maaf ! 😉

Finally Bijoy released sona from her " kasam " to her baba. Jaa sonaa jaaa, jeele apni zindagi 😆 Soha n golu too r upto something ...LIke Asha said , jis pyar ki ladayi me itna cute soldiers ho, uss pyar ka jeet toh pakka hai ..😃

Btw, Dev bhaiya ki behene kaha hai ? @ least they cud show ishwari having some conversations with neha so that the continuity cud've maintained. Mamaji bhi missing. 😕
