Sam & DQ...thanks for this new thread and you two doing a great job moderating this thread, especially now with our new forum moderator being strict with the IF rules...πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ for it.
Welcome to our new writers/analysers like bashingHater & Harryfan01 to this thread...You had put across your thoughts very nicely...Keep posting.

Shaavi...I read all your 3 posts on this thread and even I expected the storyline to move on in this way. But, still I will wait for this week's episodes, especially the farmhouse episode (as per the new spoiler) to see whether I need to keep aside my thoughts on the show ending in another 2-3months.

Last week we had only 40pages in our thread and this is a result of many of us missing from this thread...Chits(@Drcs), Latha(@LiveLife21), Deeps(@deepsel), are some whom I remember are missing. Hello dear ones, expecting you to be more active in the coming days.

DQ, there was wonderful post 'Classic 21.4.17' on Friday's episode posted by a member Vaddy in the main forum. I have asked her permission to post it here. But, seems that she hasn't visited the forum after posting it. So, haven't got a reply from her. If possible read it. It is an excellent writeup.

Congrats guys for the new thread ...Looking forward to this week with the farmhouse spoiler out which i am hoping to be true...i am sure the scene would be one angst n emotional one where both had lost everything from there n never to return back ...Hope the makers satisfy us with some past flashbacks of their journey recounting how difficult it had been without each other...Today being the 300 episode was pinning for a hug🀣...Atleast wo tho nahi milega aaj ...but but farmhouse episode mei ye dede to Fandom khush hojaye!❀️...Sonas breakdown in his arms would be beautiful actually!
@Shaavi thanx for the beautiful parellel abt the moon n sun...Amazing!

But, still I will wait for this week's episodes, especially the farmhouse episode (as per the new spoiler) to see whether I need to keep aside my thoughts on the show ending in another 2-3months. Because, I still have a feeling that the makers have chosen a path of weaning off its viewers, as most of us are so addicted to it that we can't even think of KRPKAB ending and they don't want to cause such an emoitonal stress to its viewers. Why I am saying so is because, Last season, I used to view each episode twice or thrice a day - once immediately after it airs on the TV, will watch it online; second & third time on Sonyliv or SET youtube channel. Now-a-days, I first read the written updates in various SNS and then watch the episode next day on Sonyliv/SET Channel. If in S1 I were eager to watch it immediately, this season it's more like I watch the episodes mostly after reading all the analysis or write-ups in this thread (inorder to watch the episodes with a positive mind). None of the episodes after leap has brought that excitement as of S1.

If in the last post I elaborated on the parallels, I am going to talk about the next story line here. What they showed had to be shown if they want to show Sonakshi confessing her love to Dev in June. They still need to show Dev -- Natasha -- Sonakshi track with Dev -- Sonakshi -- Jotin where Dev is Sonakshi, Sonakshi is Dev and Jotin is Natasha.

Similar to Dev and Sonakshi breaking up following the get out, we will see Sonakshi and Suhana leaving IN. Just like Sonakshi was unaware of the existence of prenup, Ishwari is unaware of the legal document signed by Dev giving up his rights over Suhana. If Ishwari used it to tell Dev to prove his loyalty, Bijoy will ask the same from Sonakshi. Dev signed that document without his knowledge but still had known his mom wanted one. Here Sonakshi might have gotten Dev to sign it, but did not have any intention of using it. It will play a major role in bringing the separation between Bijoy and Sonakshi just like what prenup did for Dev and Ishwari.

Sonakshi considered Bijoy to be the perfect husband and son. Her illusion of him being perfect husband was broken by Asha. Bijoy using this document to distance Dev from Suhana will open her eyes to Bijoy not being a perfect father, but as a fallible person.

Ishwari did not think she did anything wrong by getting Dev to sign the prenup or in interfering in Dev Sonakshi's relationship and causing them to separate. She also feels that Suhana is the achievement for her struggles like Sam has previously mentioned. But now when she gets to know that Dev has no rights on Suhana, that he cannot claim her as his own she will be disappointed. She might initially blame Sonakshi, but when confronted with the fact that Suhana is Sonakshi's daughter she will have no choice but to introspect. She will have to accept Sonakshi's place as Suhana's mother. Also that what she did was not for Dev's own good. That it is she who is responsible for Dev losing his happiness. This is one of the major revelation that has to happen following many more. But this is the first one that has to come out so that Sonakshi can enter IN as Dev's wife. Only when this happens can the other things come out like all the things GKB and Vickky did and also what she herself did.

In Friday's episode, Sonakshi says 2 important things --

1) she refers to Dev as the moon -- here it is symbolic in 2 ways. One is a moon's blemishes as seen even to naked eyes, but a sun's blemishes are not visible. One needs special tools or is only visible during eclipse. Here Dev is a person with many faults which were easily visible. While Ishwari convinced herself that there weren't any flaws in Dev or herself, Sonakshi could very easily see it. On the other hand, Sonakshi considers her father perfect and hence as the son which is what she wanted Dev to become.

The other symbolism is that a moon revolves around only one planet. But a son gives warmth to all the planets and moons. Here Dev being the moon revolved around Ishwari. There was no way he could revolve around Sonakshi at the same time. She had to become a moon and revolve around the same planet as him if she wanted to stay with him. But it was not possible. Hence Dev had to slowly evolve into the planet himself or the sun around whom Ishwari and Sonakshi could be balanced.

2) Saari galti Dev ki hi to who nahi sakthi, maine bhi galtiyan khi hogi-- this is said by Sonakshi to maamaji. Till now any time Dev talks about the past, he says that he made mistakes, he admits to being wrong. But Sonakshi says that "she MAY have made mistakes". This non admittance of mistakes is one of the major flaws of Sonakshi. She assumes that all her decisions are correct and that she is not answerable to anyone regarding her decisions. She came up with the idea of this weekly shuttling without taking into account what Bose family or Dixit family thinks about it. The right thing would have been to tell Bijoy and Asha about her idea and that Dev and she were still figuring it out. When Dev shows up at Bose family doorstep, she justifies her decision as the right thing for Suhana. Jotin at that time supports her decision saying that she is smart and she knows what she is doing. He is also supporting her in her investigation of Khatri even when he suggests her to talk to Dev. But he doesn't say her remaining quite regarding it to Dev is wrong.

No matter how independent one is, when married to someone it is very important to take some decisions jointly especially when it has a long term impact. I want to give a personal example. I go shopping, buy clothes, shoes and things like that for the kids or myself without telling my husband. He also buys gadgets and things like that without telling me. But if we plan to buy a house or change jobs or kids education we discuss before coming to a decision. We talk through what we are thinking and then come to a conclusion which has both our opinions and is right for both of us.

This is something that Sonakshi fails to do. She assumes that all her decisions are right, hence she need not discuss with anyone before taking them. Right now Jotin supports all her decisions. She will expect him to continue doing that in the future too. As long as he is just a friend, he will support her as it has less impact on his life. But once he is put in the role of life partner, this expectation will change. He need not marry her, but just being intended for that role brings the need for him to be part of her decision making process. This is when Sonakshi will face resistance and not support for her decisions by the person who had till now never opposed her. Only when that happens will she realize her mistakes and contribution to the breaking up of the marriage. Only when she says "I made mistakes" instead of "I may have made mistakes" will there be any future fDev and Sonakshi.

Very beautiful post and well written. It's the cosmic truth that no one is perfect or always right in a marriage. It takes years to built that institution with humongous efforts from the couple to make it work. Few months is barely an eyewash. I am sure Sonakshi is going to realise that Bijoy is flawed. The comparison with Dev would become inevitable. Secondly, Jotin would definitely change his stance and attitude once his status is elevated from a best friend to fianc.

I'm really tired of all third angles, misunderstandings, 'I hate you' jibes... want some progress which I believe we had form Sonakshi's side - finally could emphathize with her - she squeezed my heart last Friday. After all her monologues do you think she'll be ready to link herself with Jatin? I thought she clearly said she's still in love with Dev and that she'd forgive him to maamaji. Won't her agreeing to marry Jatin be a volteface?
@lakshmi , like you I'm very tired of their breakups too πŸ˜• . I too want everything to go the way you've envisioned in your last post. But we can dream on can't we? I'm seriously yearning for that explosive demonstrative love from Sonakshi too! Dev's I see on repeat whenever I feel down πŸ˜† so Sonakshi's confession better be good πŸ˜† . Really, waiting for that day! But as you said maybe @shaavi will be proved right again as she has an impeccable track record. πŸ˜†

Yes . Shaavi 's prediction always comes true.
But we can dream certainly. I am one of those who got great relief watching Sonakshi express herself finally before Dev's photo. I imagined Sona doing the same before Dev and all my thoughts just got stuck up there.

I don't want their union at the end of the show, I want it right now and relish to see their journey afterwards. So that is my dream . I wish it happens.

The photo they selected really made me crazy. He is too handsome and she is too honest for a change. Soul stirring music is icing on the cake. Till now I am feeling the thrill that only happen when we see such great lovers.

Any way I will continue to dream though I know Shaavi is perfect in prediction.

Congratulations all for the new thread.
@Shaavi, Completely enjoyed reading your parallels as well as predictions.πŸ‘ Lets hope for the best. At present, I am not thinking about whether the show is going to end or not. Lets enjoy the present moment instead of worrying about whats there in store for future.

@Grace, I m back dear. Missed you guys and fabulous write-ups. Will try to join the discussion when ever time permits.

Coming to friday's episode, after a long time i felt connect with sonakshi's character. Good to see that she is still human and not any robot. Two things that caught my attention in the episode were first elena's words and the other one is sona's breakdown.

1. Elena's words about what Dev got in love brought tears in my eyes. That guy was so selfless in his love whether its towards his mom or sona but at the end what he got in return? The only thing he ever asked for is ishwari's love for sona and sona's presence in his life. How unlucky this guys is? One more amazing dialogue from Elena to sona is, You were never able to love him? Is this means Sona never loved dev till now? I don't think so. I feel she loved dev and only dev till now but as a prince charming in her fairy tale love story but was never able to love him the way he is. This is what i have mentioned in many of my previous posts that Dev accepted sona the way she is and thats the reason why he always concentrated on her strengths and appreciated her efforts. As a contrast, Sona always concentrated on his weaknesses and wanted to make everything perfect instead of cherishing the love she had in her hand. Dear Sona, Instead of turning the moon in to sun, how about enjoying the cool and calm moonlight under the sky full of stars. Once upon a time you only told dev that your relationship with him is not going to compete with others instead it will complete others. Only if, you two would have remembered those beautiful promises did to each other and gave respect to your relationship then your story would have been something beautiful instead of painful.

2. Sona's breakdown - I only see this as a trailer and i feel there is lot more realization and introspection is pending from her side as clearly mentioned by Shaavi. Looking forward to see more such cracks on her fake mask.

Welcome back Latha...And as you have mentioned above (bolded parts), along with Sona's breakdown, these two dialogues by Elena had caught my attention and it was the 2 crucial questions Sona needed to think upon. And I think in the coming days, these questions will replay in Sona's mind and help her in realising where did she went wrong.

Hi Sneha

Some of my responses inline

DQ
PS: I havent watched the monday episode yet

One thing I have to ask though-
What is the need of Jatin in this serial? So far he seems to be a great friend and has filled the role of Soha's father figure in all these years off and on. Mind you Soha did not draw Jatin when she was given the homework assignment to draw her papa. She drew a man of her imagination
To validate whatever sona is doing? Perhaps. That's a question Dev has too. What did you tell Sona all these years such that she did not come looking for me
If he is a friend, how can he slip into a spouse's role ? From whose point of view? Sona's - no.. Bijoy/Dev - Jatin ticks all the boxes so they think he can play the role. Can he? Its for Sona and jatin to decide
Then it will validate dev's doubts.
Where was he wrong in assuming things? Dev the co-parent is harming his relationship with his child (e.g. he has gone AWOL after jumping into Boses' house and signing a very one sided legal document just to get access to Soha) and his child's mother. Dev the co-parent is looking in the wrong place. Dev the lover is bound to get hurt. He has no choice right now but mourn 😭
In our society still all these things matter. When did society matter for Dev?
If dev consents & accept Jatin as Sona's friend- she need not worry about the society. why?
But being soha' father them living in close proximity, she has to clarify things.
Dev should come first in their equation of three. why? The one 3-way equation is Sona-soha-dev. Why does Jatin or Paromita or Shruti matter to Dev & Sona the co-parents?
No two ways about that. No place for the third person there.
That sona will understand in dev's absence now.
Again those harsh words, which broke them apart - somewhat similar she again told him-
That he is not important for them.
Now, when soha has seen him , met him, knows him , trusts him-
What answer will she give ? Soha will understand that her parents are not together. They have a life outside of being a parent to her. Will Soha ask Dev where did he go the first night they were going to get together in IN? Soha knows her mother has other commitments and is in fact quite happy with the explanation that "mumma has work". Its us viewers have a problem and are putting words in Soha's mouth

Its unfair on Dev & Sona to be tied together if they dont want to. We have to give them the space of being lovers and co-parents. They are not yet ready to merge these roles.

These words are going to cost her.
She may think this as words spoken in anger.
One thing which can happen is - Dev will take Sona's help after he comes back to deal with khatri.
He may become emotionally distant from sona may be soha also.
There might be interactions between him & Jatin- where he see how sona shares with him everything-
Where she has hid important things to Dev.
She has refused to ask dev's help.
He feels inferior & not worthy of sona-
He himself will bring them together in marriage bond-
Then sona will realize how much her actions have cost her-
She has to break down & tell Dev in words- he is , was, would be the only person for her in her life as her love-
My pov-
