@blue This was the another problem with Ishu she have all the good values in her but when it comes t
o her insecurities and fears all the good values get lost. For a single second she was not sorry about the slap or the way she treated sona in the infertility ishu. and my question is if she really feel gulity then why she has done any effort to find them out and say sorry to them. when she become the mother of dev dixit. she can have the money to fix the sona's marriage after the breakup. She have the money to give to khtri. But why not to use it to say sorry to the person she hurt. She never say sorry for her mistakes unless and until she is fores to acknowledge. e.g when she goes to bose house to meet the soha. she try to put the blame on the soan and bose family but when sona tells that she come with soha 6 years back and she sent her away she was force to say sorry. This is my observation. Ishu leaves in the bubble where she feels that she is always correct and very few times she come out of that mostly may be in front of her brother.

This is what I feel. She will only come out of her bubble when she will forced to accept she is wrong and this will happen when she will be get cheated by mami and vicki .

Sorry to differ. CVs did not show Iswari's side of the story. It will be done once Iswari enters IN. I am sure CVs will make her say she very much tried to find out the family but she could not. So we should not come to conclusion thinking that she did not bother to pursue the matter.

Iswari said sorry a number of times. When Sona was the nutritionist she throws away the food and when Dev make her realise she says sorry.

Iswari says sorry to Dev after she came to know that she did not let Soha enter IN along with Sona. She says I hope you had forgiven me...something like that.

She said sorry to Neha also for neglecting her ...

I am sure CVs will make her say sorry to Sona after she realises how she faced Khatri... Then she may admit her regret for pre nup and infertility issues.

Iswari is never shown greedy for money. She lives a simple life despite living in such grand palace like house. Her only obsession is food. She makes it a point to see her children eat well. After Sona entered as a nutritionist, she realised the importance of eating healthy food and cooperated with her.

Iswari needs money only for her children. She never interfered or objected when Dev spent money for family or for others.

Dev bought a new phone better than Sona's old one Iswari did not mind.

Dev bought a costly car for Saurav She did not interfere. Yes. She had issues with swing. But it is more to do with Dev's inconvenience. We find some MIL s sulk when DIL spent her own money even. But Sona buying a swing is not a problem but the placement is a problem for her.

Iswari was miffed with Dev not for him investing in Saurav's business but for not letting her know.

Iswari has three daughters. Being a daughter's mother I can understand her concern for them She needs Dev's money to settle them well. Any mother will be.

So what I want to say is Iswari is not a greedy woman. She will definitely say sorry not that she has no such word in her vocabulary itself.

I wonder why should any one feel that Dev should give away his money and start from zero. As far as I know Iswari's stolen money was for the purpose of him getting educated in high level institutions. Not for business purpose. Even Vicky says so.So that money helped him study and excel in academics. For Iswari's theft he has to forego his degrees it seems. What about the knowledge he earned during his studies? Will he be able to take it out and give it away?

Parents will do do many things to get their children educated. Sometimes they may offer bribes to get them appointed in any job. Is everything so righteously done nowadays? Children may not even know what kind of means were adopted by their parents to meet their needs.

I find it wrong when Dev is asked to sacrifice his money and position. That doesn't mean he should support what Iswari had done. Still circumstances should be taken into account while deciding the future action.. Dev is going to trace them and help them out. For him that is the way to get rid of his guilt. For Iswari the revelation of her truth before her son itself serves as punishment.Lifelong she will live with that guilt.

A son should help the parent by guiding him or her towards light . He need not hate or leave the parent in isolation. When Bharat blamed Kaikeyi for sending Sri Ram to forest Rama did not support him. He says" There will be a bad ruler but there will never be a bad mother." Mata Kumata na bhavati.

Prahlad knows his father Hiranya Kaship is wrong . Hiranya Kaship tortured sages and people who worshipped Vishnu. Still Prahlad did not renounce him. He helped him attain salvation by making him meet Vishnu and die in his hands. After that Prahlad ruled his father's kingdom for many years. He did not say since his father did wrong and developed his kingdom he won't take it.Prahlad did not say he he hates himself for getting educated with his father's money.

In my view Dev need not sacrifice his property which was the fruit of his hard work and intelligence. And taking loan from Jatin? Never. Atleast I can't swallow it .

I think CVs will show a reformed Iswari this time. I am sure she will be ready with her sorry for every one around. That makes her live with mental peace. I am looking forward to that phase.

I am able to understand what you are trying to say but some how i disagree what you thought about the ishu. She was the good person for first 60 episodes . Yes she say sorry to sona when she throw the food but after telling how sona help her to gain her health. Dev told that she shoud not get influensed by mami but she never listens. From my point of view she is the most diffective person.you give the example of bharat's mother that is she get influensed and abended ram but it is also true that she loved ram most.some how as a person i am not able to get have any kind of soft corner for her. She always used to drag dev in the past only to prove her importance in his life.she acted very selfish many times. She have to say sorry to dev.she was not having any othet option.some how as a girl i cannot forgive her the way she trated sona and how she was ingonernt to dev's happiness his wishes.she got the best son and good dil but she never give importance to them .she knows how mami is trating sona but she simply encourage her for her selfish reason. Not only that she allwed vicki and mami to use dev for there reasons .i am sorry but i can't agree with you. From my point of view unless and untill she accepts her mistakes and come out of buble where she consider her as god.i can't forgive her when she try to ingoner sona as soha's mother.extreamly sorry for my outbust. I disagree.one more point i don't want dev should leave her but i want he should get out of her blackmail reated to past. Please ingoner typing mistakes as i am using my phone

@deepsel, thank you so much for your kind response... I have read some of your posts and they are so good...
Like I said I work with machines.. To be more precise, I work in the field of Artificial Intelligence... So, when you are in the process of creating an artificial brain, chances are you listen to your mind more than than your heart...

So, while others connect with emotions, I connect with someone through logic... Let me elaborate on my previously mentioned statement...

The first thing which makes me connect to an individual are the conversations that happen between us.. I consider it much more important since it allows me an insight on the inner psyche of the person...

Only then, I allow my inner sentimentalist or my heart to take over...

Similarly, I was fascinated by the show's promo but I didn't watch the show till around the confession scene... But, when I did watch, I connected with the various shades of the protagonists, along with the side characters... I absolutely fell in love with the beauty and the complex nature of these well written characters..

And, kudos to the writers and the creatives for still being able to maintain those shades...

@gmgi, I came to this site to read some stories revolving around Dev and Sonakshi... But, then, I looked at some of the other posts, I was amazed by the level of thought that has gone into writing some of the posts... (Here, I am talking about last June-July time...)

This made me feel encouraged to write on this forum...

Okay, for me, discussion or debate is not about proving someone right but about listening and understanding each other's perspectives.. And, using those perspectives as a point of reference to reflect back and build your own views...

But, I felt that (especially, after the honeymoon fiasco), the environment of this site started to become negative and toxic... Instead of listening and understanding each other's POVs, everyone became judgemental...

My posts became a center where people starting to accuse me of things, which left me feeling disheartened and hurt... I know that, creatives has failed to show some very sensitive issues, with the maturity..

I know, men can be stupid and the lack of emotional depth... As well as, we might know but don't fully understand the pains and the hurt that is being caused on women, by our society and mostly from my own sex...

But, this doesn't give women the right to caling people names and attach labels to them, just because the person writing posts are men... And, I reached a point where this site negativity had started to affect me and I realised that it's better to walk away..

That is why, my first post back was on gender equality and why everyone is looking at everything from a human rights' point of view...

But, I am glad that I did come back and am extremely thankful to the writers of this amazing thread for making me feel welcome on this thread...

Every time, I start writing... I feel like a dam breaks inside me and my every single thought comes out in the form of words...

Now, coming to the probably, the phase of the story which disappointed me the most.. The infertility track... Like everyone of you, I felt cheated and disappointed by how shabbily that this track, was handled and executed...

But, when I look back at it, it was always a double-edged sword.. I always felt that creatives would have handled this track with the maturity and the respect that this sensitive subject deserves, if the show would not been given an extension..

But, since, I feel that the show was given an extension, they decided to use this track as a catalyst for Devakshi's marriage to be broken.. But, the way they did it, was so brutal and painful to watch as a viewer and as an individual...

I could forgive Dev or think about why he acted in the way, he did for any scene but the scene when Sonakshi agreed to go through infertility treatments just to please Ishwari and begged her mother-in-law to accept her as Dev's wife, was the one mistake and the one moment, Dev lost my respect not only as a husband, but as a human being too...

No reason could ever justify Dev's silence during that scene... I feel that he deserved to go through all the pain that he did, in these seven years.. To see your wife beg your mother for her place in your family and undergo all that torment for something she is not at all responsible... There is no bigger sin and there is no forgiveness for committing this action...

I know that I deserve to rot in hell and every punishment, if I ever see my wife in a similar situation... I know, if something like this happened, I have no right to call myself a good human being...

Sorry, I got a bit carried away... In fact, I was glad when the leap happened.. It allowed the incidents during the infertility track to take a back seat... The distance allowed my mind and logic to take the control back from my heart..

I felt that this allowed me back to connect with the characters.. My father always says that the harshest lessons of our life are learnt through mistakes which can neither be forgotten nor forgiven...

Now, what I am interested about is how Dev redeems himself after committing this unforgivable sin...

Lol..Yes they did change Nikki's room into guest room from PH's perspective (you know GKB PH 😆)and not from show's perspective though (atleast i hope..) And we never saw Riya's room..only Neha and Nikki's rooms are shown..

And regarding A/C it's a prop used accordingly for plot twists..sometimes it is centralized and sometimes it is not..i like it anyway..i like when they use such things for creative liberty for plots..lol..

Another interesting fact..the room that is in the right side of the main door opens to Dev's office..that Sonakshi has barged in a zillion times with full haq..😳
umm..the door where Dev tries to gift Sonakshi ear rings but Riya mistakes it to be for her..that room..
I observed in one of the very old episodes..precisely one episode where Gujral comes to meet Dev for the first time in his office for meeting regarding Deal..😆

P.S: Call me jobless or one with eagle's eyes i observe unnecessary things..😆

Let us agree to disagree. I am not supporting Iswari's theft. But I feel she herself is regretting since. I want Dev to help her in reaching the family and beg pardon. Surely he will do so. I am happy Sona also understood her predicament. Otherwise she would have straight away ridiculed Dev or reached Police to inform them of the crime. She forgave Iswari who is half responsible for her break up( half I attribute to Bijoy) It is easy not to forgive our offender. But it is difficult to forgive. Sonakshi proved her magnanimity.

My another point is against Dev sacrificing his property. If Dev has to do so since he got his education due to the stolen money ,Saurav also has to wind up his business . Dev invested his money no? Even though the cheque was returned still Dev's Money only was the capital investment. So Sona and Saurav also should forego their property.

Its ok to disagree. I want dev should give the entire property to ishu and start his new life because from my point of view this property is earn for ishu and his family. when he will give this property away and have his own for soan and soha. Ishu will not able to blackmail him from his past. He has given the property means still he is her son. He will take care of her but his connection to the past is broken so He will have his free will how to use the money which is for him and for sona and for soha. he will not required to bare mami and vickki .My main problem is the Ishu's behavior she every time blackmail the dev for her selfish reasons using his past to prove his importance fore him to bare the mami and vicki. Sorry for my hard feeling related to Ishu . It is fine to be disagree 😊
