Shaavi di, I agree with you, but I had a slightly different aspect. The moon gets its light from the sun, also to the naked human eye the moon is much easily visible than the sun. Humans associate with the moon more as well, moonlight dinner, nila souri (moon food in Tamil), and there are moon rhymes more than sun rhymes. I was thinking maybe, Dev became the moon by taking light from being Sonakshi's sun, maybe people saw the moon brightly but forgot the sun in the background?

The realization on Friday's episode by Sonakshi was incomplete. Dev is yet to act on his realization. Ishwari's realizations needed are too many and I don't think it will happen in a short period of time.

I have a little different view on this. Yes. I agree with your points. It was still incomplete and Dev still has to start . But I feel realisation or introspection can happen provided they both start living together and find themselves in situations similar to S1 where they have to take decisions as individuals but should respectfully discuss and make space for others also.

Laxmi, I agree that they have to live together. But with the current mindset of not just Dev and Sonakshi, but also their family members, it is not possible.

Ishwari currently feels that there is no place for Sonakshi in Dev or Suhana's life. If tomorrow Sonakshi asks her about Khatri, Ishwari will definitely not like it. She will ask Sonakshi not to reveal it, but will also try to make sure that she doesn't come back to Dev's life or reveal her secret ever. Also Ishwari doesn't think Sonakshi was Dev's happiness or that she was in any responsible for Dev's sadness. She blames Sonakshi for leaving him. Only way for Ishwari to realize this is when Dev loses Suhana. Currently Ishwari is not aware of the document signed by Dev in which he has given up rights over Suhana.

The current me mindset of Dev is of mistrust towards Sonakshi. She is not in a place where she can reveal either about Ishwari or Jotin. Even if Dev gets to know he probably is going to ask Sonakshi to stay away from it. In between there is Bijoy who doesn't want Sonakshi or Soha to leave Bose house. Coming back from resort he is expecting them to come back there. If Sonakshi says that she has decided to stay back in IN, Bijoy won't accept it as Sonakshi's decision, but will assume that Dev forced her or will act just like Ishwari who thought that Dev was making a mistake and that she should protect him for his own good. He will do similar things like what Ishwari did during the marriage phase and create even more differences.

Just like prenup was the last straw breaking Dev Sonakshi's relationship, the document Dev signed will be the last straw to break their current deal. Jotin Sonakshi marriage talks has to happen with Sonakshi agreeing to it. Ishwari should have that aha moment where she tells herself that if she hadn't caused the breakup Sonakshi would be with Dev and Suhana would be part of Dixit family. In one of the previous posts Sam had mentioned how Suhana would be seen as the fruits of her struggles by Ishwari. But when she knows that Suhana is Dev's happiness. But when she sees that Suhana cannot be in Dev's life because she rejected Sonakshi is when Sonakshi can stay in In. This acceptance is the first step. It might not be whole hearted, but she still needs to be tolerant towards her to begin with.

They had 2 breakups but in both of them they blamed the other person and as yet are still to acknowledge their contribution to it. For that to happen they need to go through one more separation and this will happen. That is what the story is heading towards.

This time when Sonakshi comes to Dev, she needs to come on her own. In the beginning of the series Dev forced her to accept the job and did many not so right things to keep her there. In several episodes during the initial episodes Sonakshi mentions that. But comes back willingly after Dev's 5 hr cafe wait. After the initial breakup in hospital it is once again Dev who does all sorts of incorrect things to stop Sonakshi from moving on. This time it is Ishwari who forces her to accept the proposal for marrying Dev. In a way Sonakshi is forced to be Dev's wife. I am not saying that in a negative way, but pointing out that Sonakshi did not just accept the wedding happily. She knew that her baba had not given his approval willingly and realized that Ishwari's approval for the wedding was due to Dev forcing her.

If they are to work as a team, Sonakshi needs to acknowledge her feelings regarding Dev, accept the disapprovals and come to him willingly. Only when they are able to put their relationship above all else will they be able to fight the other factors. There's a saying-- those who don't learn from history tend to repeat it. None of the characters have learnt from what happened. Dev is still impulsive and dependent on others. Ishwari is still insecure and possessive. Bijoy is still proud and egoistic. Sonakshi still has not understood her flaws and faults. They need for history to repeat in such a way with updated dynamics where they are in the exact place of the other with the character that they judged the most is when they are going to learn.

These preludes and preconditions need to be met before the next phase of story where Dev, Sonakshi and Ishwari occupying same space begins.

This post was kind of a continuation of Grace's post regarding the series ending in June. My take is that it is not going to end in June, but the next phase is going to begin in June. June is when Sonakshi will confess her true feelings, her innermost thoughts to Dev. Till this time we will see a combination of Sonakshi's deewangi and her behavior similar to how Dev was during Natasha track. Dev will emulate Sonakshi during this track while Jotin will be Natasha.

Sorry if the post lacks structure and some things are repeated. I am trying to convey my thoughts but maybe I am falling short. 😊

One thing I have to ask though-
What is the need of Jatin in this serial?
To validate whatever sona is doing?
If he is a friend, how can he slip into a spouse's role ?
Then it will validate dev's doubts.
Where was he wrong in assuming things?
In our society still all these things matter.
If dev consents & accept Jatin as Sona's friend- she need not worry about the society.
But being soha' father them living in close proximity, she has to clarify things.
Dev should come first in their equation of three.
No two ways about that. No place for the third person there.
That sona will understand in dev's absence now.
Again those harsh words, which broke them apart - somewhat similar she again told him-
That he is not important for them.
Now, when soha has seen him , met him, knows him , trusts him-
What answer will she give ?
These words are going to cost her.
She may think this as words spoken in anger.
One thing which can happen is - Dev will take Sona's help after he comes back to deal with khatri.
He may become emotionally distant from sona may be soha also.
There might be interactions between him & Jatin- where he see how sona shares with him everything-
Where she has hid important things to Dev.
She has refused to ask dev's help.
He feels inferior & not worthy of sona-
He himself will bring them together in marriage bond-
Then sona will realize how much her actions have cost her-
She has to break down & tell Dev in words- he is , was, would be the only person for her in her life as her love-

@shaavi awesome posts back to back. But your take that we have to wait until June really saddened me. I'm really tired of all third angles, misunderstandings, 'I hate you' jibes... want some progress which I believe we had form Sonakshi's side - finally could emphathize with her - she squeezed my heart last Friday. After all her monologues do you think she'll be ready to link herself with Jatin? I thought she clearly said she's still in love with Dev and that she'd forgive him to maamaji. Won't her agreeing to marry Jatin be a volteface?
@lakshmi , like you I'm very tired of their breakups too 😕 . I too want everything to go the way you've envisioned in your last post. But we can dream on can't we? I'm seriously yearning for that explosive demonstrative love from Sonakshi too! Dev's I see on repeat whenever I feel down 😆 so Sonakshi's confession better be good 😆 . Really, waiting for that day! But as you said maybe @shaavi will be proved right again as she has an impeccable track record. 😆
