@Sia, I do believe in fairy tales and loves reading them. And I have never met a Dev or Sona in real life. But many Ishwaries though. 😃 I have many friends who inspired me and proved with their life that fairy tales do exist in real life if you are willing to listen to your heart. 😳

I love your posts..you were one of the first ones to catch my attention here whose posts i used to wait for..

@Saumee..loved your take on the episode..even I did not see that as bullying..because it is not like he is trying to be superior or trying to suppress here..I don't know why Sonakshi is being looked at like a victim sometimes when she is not..yes she is a victim on the whole..she had to be a single mom..but she is as sassy as he is..infact she is the sassier one among the two..dev was stumped by her head strong replies and questions in S1 and S2 as well..one of the reasons he fell in love with her..

My post here is not related to one episode..just an observation..

Elena and Golu..they are very similar characters..I am finding some parallels between S1 and S2 in these characters
In S1 Elena was the friend in need to Sona..she was always there for her..even during sona's breakup she tried her level best to lend her support to Sona..and we cannot forget she was the first one who got strong vibes of Sona's liking towards dev..and she was a true devakshi shipper and pushed sona to accept her feelings and confess..
In S2 Golu is doing that..best friend to Dev..first one to ask if he still loves BigChi..and little one took over another responsibility on his tiny shoulders..to give a good..no great impression to suhana about his BigCha and is shipping Devakshi..calling her BigChi..
Like mother like son..though Elena's character now is gone case in love with Vicky..we cannot deny her role in S1..

Sorry if I offended someone..I don't know if I even put my point correctly..

Calvin... Good observation...I am also eagerly waiting to see how Golu is going to play a crucial role in Devakshi lives...I also don't want this Chota bheem sidelined because of Soha.

I agree with your point and they are not changing the main story line. Still it is related to the insecurities of the Ishu mainly but I think they have added Bijoy's aspect also. so Dev and sona are going to be together as first as mother and father and the as lovers and afterwords as husband and wife in season two and they are not going to show the old mistakes are repeated by the leads. and My take on the anger on the sona as a lover and wife is Dev always feel they sona knows him too well even more then Ishu so he was expected that she will not leave him as she know that he cannot survived without her which is known to her that why he always asks her to not to leave her before there marriage and after marriage. Actually when he choose sona over Ishu that was the big thing for him. In his entire life he has choose the relation another then his mother so he was expecting that she will understand it and will be with him. But actually it was too late. Sona never wants this kind of situation first she was expecting the support form dev which at import point dev fail due to gave which is very well known to dev and he knows the reasons for it that's why he has draw the line between his mother. Other than anger it was disappointment. and sona was angry because she have an hope that after some time after the anger get cooled down dev will come. The main problem is dev was expecting that sona will not leave him and soan was expecting that he will come back to her. and this was pretty clear from the flower story. I hope one day they will understand what they have lost due to this mess. and understand their mistakes because I feel both have made mistakes as husband and wife. Dev has done more but some mistakes are from sona's side also. Because of the there mistakes they allow there parents to play will there relation by the name of insecurity and pride.

Excellent and peaceful discussions going on! 👏... And this is what I love about this thread...😊

I read here that Sona may breakdown when Soha is taken away from her, for eg. Soha going to live in Ishwari Niwas, and this may reunite Dev-Sona. Well, I don't think that is necessary, I mean Soha living in IN😆.

Because - First, Sona's contract signed by Dev doesn't let that happen. Second, Sona is already breaking down.😉 (Reference - Friday's episode, when she mellowed down in Dev's arms).

So, I feel Dev's proximity with Sona is enough to break her down as it would constantly remind her about her fairy-tale like relationship that turned into a mess; the guy still loves him, she still loves him - but they wouldn't accept. Similarly, Sona's proximity is affecting Dev, the moment she landed on Delhi and that is what was pricking him and so he was trying to irritate the hell out of her.

He is constantly trying to make her accept her 'defeat' (i.e. put down her ego and guards in front of him; but the way he is doing that is not so acceptable - locking in office, tying hands etc. Well, that is a different story altogether)... Sona, on the other hand, is a hard nut to crack. She wouldn't for once show her weakness in front of anybody - her family, daughter and definitely not Dev. She is clutching to her 'strong image' for support. One admission of her true feelings, one slip of facade, one crack, and Dev too would too break down into zillions of pieces seeing her in pain, he would never let her fall (we have got symbolisms for this), and we have seen Dev already expressing his feelings for Sona in various forms.

So, all they need to do is feel empathy for each other's pain and sufferings post separation, and Suhana should be there with both of them in form of an excellent healer.😊

LOL. I have to disagree with the use of the oscillation though. To oscillate is to swing in a regular rhythm, equal distance from the centre. Our man goes to unpredictable extremes :-)
He is the best child a mother would want and the next minute he tells his gf I won't tell anyone about us, I want you all to myself. He was a good friend and lover any woman could have asked for and then he goes 'not telling you, you won't understand me'. Who does he trust?

The way I see it, Ishwari and Sona and Mamiji and Vicky could have co-existed rather happily if only Dev Dixit whipped his wand at the right times. He turned out to be the weakest link!

@grace4317, thanks for the link. Well written article. Her lines: "Sona may act like Dev doesn't have a place in her life anymore, but it's almost like he's taken up the most space in her life - even if with her lack of faith. Only he has the power to restore it at this point. " chimes with my view.
I wish Dev changes his approach to restore Sona's faith in him.

Hi.So many people wonder if Dev really loves Sona.Even Sona isn't sure.But Dev was talking about Sona to preethi.but when he changed his words to make it sound as if he meant those words for Soha,we could clearly see the disappointment in Sona's face.She does not want him to get back with her for the sake of Soha.Which is probably why she returned back to kolkatta after coming till IN.Due to his rejection.Same with Dev.He isnt showing any inclination of getting back with Sona even after knowing about her coming back mainly because he doesn't know if she came back for her husband or her child's father.He wants his wife back too.But he isnt sure if she want her husband back.The way he raised his hand towards her after that office confrontation shows this doubt that he has.

That balcony scene is the first instance in S2 where Sona mellowed down in front of her ex-husband.Or showed that she still needed him.He knows this too.Imagine what would happen if he use this oppurtunity.Would she really trust him.Will she really be sure if he want his wife back or just want her for the sake of soha.He just threw her off the track with that stupid trick.For now his focus is Soha.He went back to win her over.Once he succeeds in gaining Soha's acceptance ,he will be back to Sona.To win back his ex wife.To let her know how much he needs his wife

It's nt bout excusing mistakes of dev but pointing out his inability to understand sona. Dev might hav that fear that jst like his mom, sona too is insecured or protective bout her daughter. But no matter wat dev needs to prove himself in front of soha without the interference of sona. But the fact is sona genuinely wants soha to mingle with her papa & get all the luv a father can giv his daughter or else sona shud n hav shifted to delhi , even if in the pretext of handling her office personally.

@Bold, Wasn't he surprised that Sona has escaped the office and locked it too? Didn't he call her and say she should ask for his help? What in his actions that night/next morning made us feel he knew she would find a way out?

yeahh i can c that but he knows she's a fighter & she's much stronger than him mentally .That was quite evident in that sona accident scene & sona ritwick engagement scene. I think, dev wanted sona to seek help from him, & if she did , the consequences wud've been different both in office lock up n balcony tie up scenes.. but since she's a fighter, she won't giv up easily. ( i remember during that sona -jatin marriage talk scene, dev saying to sona " jo chahte ho paa hi leti ho "..so dev might know her inner strength to face & rectify problems very well )

@Bold Couldn't agree with you more! I am not pro-a-character or against-a-character but given Dev and Sona or even the Dixits, Tripatis and Boses, I am only questioning their actions as I see. Of course, if it was judging them based on my intentions, I would be Miss Good 2 shoes and everyone else would be wrong! :-)

V r jst trying to reason with the behaviour of the characters b it dev, sona , ishwari or bijoy but v can jst imagine wat if v're in such situation but @ the end of the day it's all depends on the creativity of the makers of this show & how they want to mould their " baby " & i'm respecting that creative liberty even though i too agree that some facts r hard to digest.

Thank you buttercups Jo2345 & Calvin314, both your words made me cool down after loosing both "Life" and "Battleship"games back to back 😡 I am a sore looser😆.

I was actually amazed to see how so many of you thought Dev's words about his special love with pretty Preethi was meant for Soha😲 because I was quite sure it was meant for only Sona immediately when I heard those dialogs😆. Dev never stopped loving Sona but Sona's strong facade was making him nervous that he would be replaced. But her gardener story and her confession about "not getting remarried " gave him hope and he want to test that facade after knowing about Soha. He very well knows with Soha intact Sona is bound to him forever and that gave him extra miles to play extreme games with Ms.Bose to discover Sonakshi again 😳. Just like Sona sees Dev and Ishwari as single entity still, Dev is seeing Soha and Sona as single entity, for him winning over one is definitely going to bring him another too. So he is playing mind games with Sona whereas opening his heart to Suhana when we expected the reverse😆.

Though we can reason with Dev's actions, personally I felt CVs took the hand tying scene too far and it didn't go well with my version of Dev who gave that space to the same girl during that first confession and also who gave "thank you" instead of kissing when the same girl obliged. If holding back Sona to spend time with Suhana is the only reason, I would have even preferred Dev seeking pretty preethi's help to engage Sona while he spends time with Suhana😆.

With that said, I can't deny the fact that Sona was totally smitten to see Dev's proximity and this have given more boost to Dev and we are bound to see more ruthless acts in future as well till Dev breaks Sona entirely. Dev 1.0 had strong facade with everyone else except in front of Sona where he became a child and vulnerable, now expects the same from Sona 2.0😳. Bhudduram just doesn't know one breakdown of his will set ripple effect in Sona too, instead he has taken the opposite route of casanova and though it has started showing cracks in Sona, there is high chance of backfire with Jatin presence looming in the story😆.

Golu is an absolute delight and charmer in friday's episode. His persistent "Bigchi" and superman stories to impress his sister proves how much he cares for his BigCha and ready to share his space which he was solely enjoying for 6 years. Son earning good karma to negate his parents's bad karma? Future forgiveness ready for Vicky and Elena? 😉

Now can someone please shed some lights if these two smarty pants are really divorced ? Though both sides don't leave a chance to use "Ex" am curious why CVs are still leaving this in confused state along with Dev's side of story. There is definitely more story than meeting the eye and should appreciate CVs for keeping us in edge even after 270 odd episodes. KRPKAB is surely one of a kind😆.

Forgot to add:

Soha blindfolding Dev and Dev shooting the ball symbolisms that Dev's pure heart will make him reach his destination though he is blindsided by Soha's affection making him act ruthless and directionless😳
