You are right here. The only way this story can move forward is when Sona breaks down. Although Sona generously said "Everyone has to experience their share of the heat", I think reality will be a different story altogether.
The only way to break her down is to take Soha away from her. Soha has to physically live with the Dixits OR Soha must become emotionally detached from the Boses.

In any case, in the story forward Dev and Soha have the strings to pull while Sona unfortunately only has heartache left.

Breakdown could be related to Soha or her family but this could strengthen her facade.When golu called Sona bigchi Dev didn't mind coz he still somewhere perceives the same relationship with her but Sona was the one correcting him.Dev is an extreme person until and unless there is no fear of losing Sona his facade and games won't stop.So let's see what happens.

The best part of this thread is finding positivity even in worst scenarios, expressing one's POVs( both +ve & - ve ) in a healthy manner thus avoiding headaches n heart burns 😆 Afterall v r watching shows for pure entertainment & everyone has the right to voice their opinions ...toh lage reho ! 😃

Isn't Sona stopping Golu exactly what she told Soha too - No KKHH?

Hmm... don't Dev and Sona already know that they have lost each other? Sona has made it clear that all Dixit family have a relationship with Soha and she won't stop that and Dev has made it clear that he lives only for his child going forward.

The only imbalance so far is Sona has spelt out that Dev is a good son, brother and friend but he couldn't be a good husband and that he should try to be a good father now. On the other hand, on the record, Dev has said she wasn't a good wife, good DIL and will never be a good mother too.

If we say Dev doesn't have to spell out anything to negate his words from 7 years ago, then we are saying Sona has to be self sufficient, emotionally strong. Most humans form close relationships for emotional satisfaction for everything else we do a job :-)
What we repeatedly have seen in Season2 is Dev trying to break Sona's inner strength? This itself is so contradictory that I don't understand what Dev wants to achieve.

Even if we say Dev sees a husband-wife or lover relationship with Sona while Sona doesn't show anything like that, then the way forward is to break one of them down, isn't it?

Given the strong personality Dev exhibits and his financial abilities it is easier to believe that Sona will be broken and Dev + Soha will do that.

The best thing i found in dev in season 1 was that he never manhandled sona which most of the MLs did esp those falls under arrogant business tycoon category be it Mann Khurana -geet , Arnav singh Raizada- Iss pyar ko, et al the list goes & FLs getting asthma attacks ..ooopps heavy breathing n stuffs & directly plunges into the ocean of luv ...then luv , hate, luv , hate...making the show a mega one.

I like both dev n sona with their limitations also v knew that the luv is intact within them even after the separation . The way dev said to his maa during re marriage talk that sonakshi is the only girl he luvd immensely & he cudn do another marriage showed how much he luvd or even luvs sona. but his maa instigated him against sona saying she's going to marry jatin . The next day dev confronted sona saying he'll never re-marry , to which sona too affirmed the same , thus exposing mataji. Special mention to shaheer for that scene..wat a soulful dialogue delivery n voice modulation !! The pain of dev's inner turmoil is commendably rendered by shaheer in that scene. He's one of the main reasons that i'm liking dev , but nt his looks but expressions unlike those delhi aunties 😆 I'm against dev in that he still cudn stand up for or support sona wen his maa bad mouth her. 🤔

Dev was suave & naive wen compared to relationships & bcoz of that he needed to pay heavy prize. He cudn draw the boundary in his relationships esp with his maa n biwi . Now he's trying to draw that lines bet his daughter n wife ( ex, ofcourse ) , esp he's in need to win his daughter @ any cost but he cudn realise the fact that his wife is nt toxic as his maa. That's y he tied sona in the balcony so that he can impress his daughter in the absence of sona bcoz he fears that the presence of sona will make him fail , jst like the way the presence or over influence of his maa failed him completely in his married life ultimately snatching the luv of his life , his sona, away from him. I'm nt justifying his actions but i'm trying to c his true intentions , even though the execution was wrong . Dev is like that only. His intentions r always pure but he chooses the wrong executions.

Another thing is dev very well knew the capabilities of his bengali tigress like wat she's able to do or nt. That's might b the reason he even locked her up in office b4 , the same goes with balcony tie up . But honestly, i'm against such things but i'm trying to read from dev's POV. U know, every cloud has silver lining & i'm trying to look for the same .( Also remember, how he risked his own life to save sona from the earth quake & every time sona trips or stumbles near him , dev saves her )

P.S. V always judge others by their actions & ourselves by our intentions . Once v put ourselves into other's shoes, life wudn hav this much complicated 😊

@Bold, I am thinking ahead here. Is that true though? We know from various whats coming up videos that Sona has tears of joy when Soha addresses Dev as papa. Is he is right in his thinking and we in our interpretation of his action, then Sona should have reacted differently? So, aren't we getting ahead of the story and excusing Dev's mistake?

@Bold, Wasn't he surprised that Sona has escaped the office and locked it too? Didn't he call her and say she should ask for his help? What in his actions that night/next morning made us feel he knew she would find a way out?


@Bold Couldn't agree with you more! I am not pro-a-character or against-a-character but given Dev and Sona or even the Dixits, Tripatis and Boses, I am only questioning their actions as I see. Of course, if it was judging them based on my intentions, I would be Miss Good 2 shoes and everyone else would be wrong! :-)

@jigsaw1234 Dev's behaviour keeps on oscillating between from one end to another.This Dev who is now doing Soha Soha was breaking laptops when he got to know about Sona and Jatin.Dev repeatedly asks Sona to ask for help but she denies and this pushes him further to be more mean.The core story still remains that of an insecure MIL , Momma's boy husband and independent DIL so to reach there Dev ,Sona and Soha have to be together than only the story can move forward.The whole nations wants to know as to why Dev is still angry on Sona knowing the complete truth I think there is more than what meets the eye.Dev the father is not angry on Sona but Dev the lover/ husband and I still can't figure out why I think only Dev can give this answer 😆
