Even I was thinking why shaheer cried in reality..
After seeing episode, I think he could not take torture any morešŸ˜† or supriya must have announced about leaving show. believe me there was no words touching. in fact Dev should have Been shown confusing why mother giving lecture instead of crying.

when Eshwari is saying she is complete bcoz Dev etc.. I was really thinking about mother. my mother was not allowed to go school bcoz in her mother house, there was scarcity of labour, as they had huge land to cultivate. We are 4 children same as Dev and sister. One elder brother and 3 sisters. but I have never seen partiality among us. If i was made to wash dishes, brother was made to sweep the house. even food or clothes we all 4 us used to get together. only on birthdays exception. what I was trying to say is education means not necessarily school going. But my mother educated in her own way. She believes in equality and always encouraged us for higher studies. I should solute such ladies.

If the CVs wanted to lay the foundation for infertility track, they have failed coz this was frankly, very regressive and archaic.

I have two very very important people in my life and they don't have kids...and one of them out of choice. And the more significant thing is that they lead very happy and fulfilling lives. To say life is all about motherhood is so single dimensional (lets not forget that this show is meant for more forward thinking crowd and not for rural audience) and the way Ishwari said it. it was even worse...coz she is proud to be Dev's ma and not just ma.

I am a mother and when my son does something sensitive, achieves something or simply is there for me- I am touched, proud and happy. But is motherhood my entire life? No. Does only motherhood define me? No!.

Ishwari's speech was irritating to me coz it belongs to historic period. And it was even more annoying given the reason why she made the speech.

Her speech left me cold and that is something to be said for I am a mother too.

Ishwari can try all kinds of stunts but she can't keep Sona out of Dev's life; Sona walking up to them and Dev pulling her into the hug says it very clearly.

P.S - I have been having problems with becharawala characterization of Dev's for a while now. The CV's have played and to a great extent damaged his charecter for the essence of drama. Not done! I would have understood if Shaheer had complained about his role in this story, as Supriya's character hasn't changed that much until now. Strange na...that Supriya complained and Shaheer continues to play his role in the best way he could over despite the damage to his character over the last month?

PPS - The media may have exaggerated about Shaheer real tears...like they just exaggerated about his behaviour with press yesterday. Like you said Saumiee...how could he for a speech that never ever acknowledges the rest of her children who were right there? What a slap on their faces? I will think of Shaheer's real tears as press misreporting šŸ˜†

PPPS - Enough already CVs. Haven't you hammered it into us, the viewers, that Dev and ISH are one click and that Dev will do anything for ISh and Ish is consumed by insecurities already? So much of rehash is taking a toll on our mental strength while watching KRPKAB these days. Stop taking us in circles. It'll only cause dizziness and will make us vomit all over

Ishwari while all praises for Dev, did not bother to say one single sentence about Neha her sacrifices and all. According to her, Dev aj jo hai woh Neha ke sacrifices ki vajah se hai. But not a single praise for Neha or other daughter's names in speech. This shows her mentality.

AMEN to bold

I have two very very important people in my life and they don't have kids...and one of them out of choice. And the more significant thing is that they lead very happy and fulfilling lives. To say life is all about motherhood is stupidity and the way Ishwari said it. it was even worse...coz she is proud to be Dev's ma and not just ma.

They have made a joke of womanhood and motherhood in my opinion. One because Womanhood is not defined as to whose wife you are , or whose mother you are but for the woman you are.
Motherhood is not defined differently if you have sons versus daughters

I am a mother and when my son does something sensitive, achieves something or simply is there for me- I am touched, proud and happy. But is motherhood my entire life? No. Does only motherhood define me? No!.

You said we should not expect her to treat Sona as her daughter .. fine i will live with that... But how about treating her other children on par with Dev ?? why she never likes to do anything with her daughters ... why is she so hung up on Dev... A mother is good when she is good to all her children ...

also the problem is that Dev never abandoned her ... like she was saying that once kids grow big... Dev didnt have any friends and he shared his all day doing with ishwari alone... how can she still be so insecure..

Very valid point ...I never said she should not treat all her children equally. She should and For me it's confusing whether she considers Dev above all her children or she believes she loves him more ...in prenup case she only thought about her daughters and their share but not about her son's happiness so I m yet to understand where her daughters stand .

Regarding second part ..It might be her fear or she has seen other sons do to their mom .She never accused Dev directly

Well for me it was a mother who was talking about her experiences of motherhood and in some parts she took the liberty of making generalized statements which did not go well with many I guess

P.S she is not perfect but for me she is not a evil mom either .She can be selfish at times due to fears yet I don't consider her as a bad mom.Strictly my PoV

CV's are introducing infertility track and thats why this big speech on mother's emotions. Now we are gonna see the dialogue tum to maa nahi ban sakati tum kaise samjogi maa-bete ka rishta by ishwari. It was for this future developments/dialogue this whole scene was written.

Well said.šŸ‘

That is the sadest part in dixit house. girls are never recognised. in fact what motherhood she is swearing when she was not good mother to other 3 children.

I think Neha made more sacrifices for Dev than Ishwari. She never beats her drum though! Does Ishwari fold neha's clothes too? Does she wait for any other children to eat?

the speech was not only regressive it was not befitting dev's mom...i agree there r sons in real life who forget mothers after marriage...for those mothers doing chores like folding clothes maybe a way of feeling her presence in son's life..
but dev has already made ishwari his entire world...so ishwari didnt hv to use these lines however her intention was not to define motherhood but to slap sona with her words...

dev taking pride in this speech...really if i get dev as husband i wud not even want to complete one life with him let alone saat janam...

About Ishwari, she started with herself but slowly she included all the women community in her speech. She could have just stick to her own story and then even her taunting would have been bearable.
I didn't liked Devakshi scene today. The way they both were behaving Dev and Sona irritated me to the core.

I am glad to know there is someone who echoes my thoughts .

I could not understand the "Mama's boy " taunt either .I did not understand the purpose and timing of that taunt .

Today was tit for tat episode .😔...
