You see Dev spending nights with another woman while sona tadpofies has so much mileage. Dard loving viewers like me will lap it up. So what if it shows regressive thinking. So what if they don't show modern fertility solutions like surrogacy. That won't sell. What scared me more was Dev even made reference to that movie once -chori chori chukpe chupke

That will be the end of the show...and the beginning of a farce 😆

On a serious note, this story is about how a son manages his love for his mother and his wife and the mother coming to accept her daughter-in-law as a daughter. The infertility track will be Dev's awakening time from his slumber state of pleasing his mother and wife alternatively. Time for him to take a strong stance against his mother's wishes (be it infertility or remarriage) for the very first time in his life.

I was very worried about watching this episode and fortunately I got held up at work and couldnt watch it. I just read the written update and I got very upset... My husband finds it very amusing as to why I take a daily soap so seriously...which is also correct. I feel cheated Mamta Patnaik/ CVs - after watching a really good and modern love story in the first 6 months please dont become regressive and show us crappy stuff like becoming a mother is the ultimate for any woman. Dont these people realise that there are many couples nowadays who opt not to have children at all. Its their life and their choice!!!
The way the track is progressing,,,, i have a sneaking suspicion that Ishwari is already aware of Sona's medical condition and is planning to hit Sona where its going to hurt her the most - the infertility bit. I am hoping against hope that at least at that time Dev should stand by his wife. If he doesnt then definitely the story will go the ekta kapoor way with a separaton and Sona being pregnant and not disclosing the fact to Dev and then a leap when they meet after 5-6 years when Dev discovers that he has another child with Sona and then the drama begins again between his wife, ex wife and mother 😊😕

Let's not forget this not EK serial here Bahu speaks ...so makers will decide in order to attract some online viewers along with trp audience lets write a scene where Sona will blast mom and Sona and will go separate ways .Then Bijoy Bose will pass some one or two taunts and Ish will give speech to taunt Sona instead .Perfect scene 👏
Sona will start her move on mission and as per the public demand Ritwick will be back .They will go on dates while Dev will try impregnate the surrogate mother .meanwhile Ritwick and Sona will come closer on a rainy night and ahem ahem happens. They get married and miracle happens Sona is pregnant ...comparison between Ritwick's manhood and Dev's will keep the fans busy ...surrogate or second wife will be pregnant too yet Dev and Sonakshi will still love each other .On one fatal night Dev's second wife and Sona's second husband will meet with an accident and will die .Now Dev will stalk Sona and Sona will secretly enjoy .Thir kids will go to the same school and are best friends so Devakshi will meet often and will decide to get married again for their babies but twist is they will realise they never took divorce so their marriage is still valid .

They will stay together with their respective kids and after some 2 year leap we see Devakshi kid and curtains dowm.Kuch Rang pyar ke Aise bhi

P.S.Story inspired from all the indian serials

Perfect post...even i was supremely irritated with her speech today
She meant that every women who is a mother is a great achiever and rest are incomplete
N this comes in an era where women actually bypass men that too without their support
N the other 3 kids are long forgotten ...if i were in their place i would have left the party them and there...poor trio still stayed onn
N abt shaheer getting emotional it could be the other way around...he must have got fed up with this emotional atyachar from the writers n must have thought ki yaar why am i forced to do this pda with my onscreen mother when being newly married i should do it with my wifey

<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">I am honestly bored with Ishwari-Dev now. Want to mute most of their parts.</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">I don't even remember most of It now but it made it look like being a mother is the only sacred achievement of womankind. That you are nothing if you aren't a mother yet when a child grows up he forgets his mother. Mothers are born to suffer. They are the victims of wrath of destiny.</font>

<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">I am sure we have many mothers here and many daughters and sons who love their mothers eternally, The bond between a child and his/her cannot be explained in words yet this attempt tried that and actually turned out to be insulting to the beauty of how it actually is.</font>

<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Ishwari saying "Jisne janm nahi diya hai usse kaise samaj ayega" "uske liye to mumma's boy rahega"</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Was a taunt. No emotions attached. Clearly indicating how much Sonakshi will have to bear with only because she cannot be a mother.🤢For Ishwari, being a mother is an ultimate achievement for womankind rest everything is secondary. I wonder would she have the same approach had her husband been alive? Had her parents been alive?</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">And what was with the taunts of Kaushalya and Ram ji?</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Tell me just one moment when Dev abandoned you? Forgot you ? Tried to be happy without including you?</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">It was always about You!</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Still this woman has the guts to emotionally blackmail the child that "You dare not forget me because I am the epitome of sacrifice and goodness. You owe me big time"</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">Ah! And yes, apparently this mother, who cherishes motherhood doesn't even mention or even look at her other three children!</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">How is that even possible. My mother always said that the children are like two eyes, you cannot choose which one is dearer to you. How is Ishwari so partial and the daughters okay with it?.</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">I was equally irritated with Dev today. I know he didn't do anything wrong today but just the fact that he is so supportive and equa encouraging for his mother irks me a lot. He literally roams around disillusioned these days, like a lost cow, with no decisions and thoughts of his own.</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">I don't relate this Dev to the sauve and smart Devrat Dixit who was ambitious and sharp to achieve and get whatever he wants. This Dev is actually an eight year old.</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">CVs you better give some character strength to Dev, it is quite bothersome now.</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">And great , One icecream and the guy is already shivering with fever!👏Don't worry bay, Mumma is always there for you😳Your wife can keep sulking and die of guilt and your ignorance.</font>

<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">P.S loved Bijoy Bose today😆🤗</font>
<font color="#003399" face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">P.P.S Please dont mind if my words are way to harsh today. I am angry and badly need to vent out😆</font>

@saumiee : It was clear when Ishwari's speech ended that she was keen to take a jibe at Sonakshi for calling Dev a Mamma's boy. My respect for Asha increased. If you compare the two women, there is an amazing difference in their approach towards life, but then life has made them that way. Here, Ishwari was trying to drive home the point that a being a mother is epitome of womanhood and moreso because finally her son listened to his wife and called Asha as 'maa', though with a nod of approval from Ishwari.
😃 This dialogue was essential as its setting the tone for things to come, when Ishwari becomes aware of Sonakshi's medical condition. Undoubtedly, Ishwari wants to prove that she is always right but fate could have willed otherwise!

How both the mothers behave would reveal the depth of their love for the kids and the strength of their character. Since Ayaan's mother has also been introduced, the Creatives hav to show us different viewpoints.

Nice post Sow..Totally agree with you. Ish is going beyond words to explain. I mean, come on..give the kid a break and also the new bahu..When was a single time she was happy with her?? If Mamiji is the walking taunt, Ish gets the expression taunt queen award.
Only part I loved in yesterdays episode are Ayaan, Bejoy - loved their natural way of being themselves.

The only two reasons ...
1. Shaheer as we all know is a brilliant actor and can tap into emotional scenes at the drop of a hat.. not too much required to make him cry.. we all remember the scene where he broke down after the break up.. that was so intense and there was no speech even.. he is just that good

2. Shaheer was remembering his mom who does not stay with him unlike Ishwari and Dev.. maybe he has not called her in a few days and was thinking about her feelings for him.. obviously no mother would give this kind of a speech.. but a son can miss his mother even without that..

That said.. I had serious issues with that speech.. I dont want to get into it as it has been analysed so well by so many other forum members..

Lovely post!

What I dont understand is the show is to display "insecurity" right ? then why be so discriminative towards the daughters ? the show is not based on gender discrimination.

The show's real actual concept is SON obsession and Ishwari craze!
The show is pressing all the irrelevant and sadistic buttons.
One can be insecure and still love daughters too!
