But having said the above ...there is a point that did come into my mind...by comparing these two with Kanha and Yashodha does that mean Dev is adopted by Ishwari ?? I know when it comes to maternal love many a times in many serials they have used this comparison...its just a thought , I could be completely wrong ...Ishwari's behaviour many a times dont justify maternal love...it mostly goes into material love when it comes to Dev...which forces me to think if he is adopted by her.

Even Yesterday more than him being out and something could happen to him...what affected her the most was his closeness to his mom in law...

Bingo. Kanha is a momma's boy but a beautiful-soul momma's boy. And Kanha, despite all the love for his mother, would have definitely stop any wrong-doing and would have conveyed to everyone about what's right (even in playful way). Ishwari the symbol of selfishness cannot be compared to Yashoda 🤢

Oh no. Bijoy is not right. Ishwari is right. What Bijoy should have done is follow Ishwari's example. After finding out that Dev and Sona fought he should have insulted Dev so he himself leaves his house (not at 2 a.m. though) and then go to Dev's office and threaten him to leave his family and make Sona happy. Of course Dev will refuse. Then Bijoy Bose should gift Sonakshi a divorce. And oh yes, may be Bijoy Bose can also do something so that Dev loses his livelihood just because he didn't do exactly as he said. Isn't that what ideal family should do?

How dare he treat both son-in-law and daughter the same? How dare he assumed that they won't use their car and wallet and won't go to a hotel room? I mean they are not adult, are they? They are just two kids having a slumber party.

I don't think there is any need to interfere for sona or dev as whatever the reason...ishwari have a valid reason to shout at Bose family even asha knew that ishwari has a valid reason to shout... Bijoy did whatever and for patch of sona dev but he was wrong...seriously, thrown them out of house at 2:00 am at midnight.
And why dev or sona will support bijoy...they already know ishwari have a valid reason to shout. And what they will say to ishwari that mom...we have a fight and to sort out the problem, bijoy baba thrown us...lol 😆

I have a husband and even I don't hover over him like Ishwari does. And all her promises to Neha for making up for lost time are as fake as her motherly concern.

You mean Jocasta complex ?? I think I did mention it sometime back..need not be sexual in nature always ...it can be emotional also...and Jocasta complex happens in most cases when there is an absence of father/ father who doesnt support the family ... and son has a very strong character there by becomes the emotional anchor of the house...and hence his mom subconsciously sees the son as the head of the family in place of the father and the void of emotional support that she has to get from her husband is taken from her son..

PS : Here Dev adds to this problem by not going against his mom's wishes..and being mute when she needs to be corrected

They don't even have anything common things to make a comparison .yasoda allowed kanha to leave her because she understand his duties ,when Krishna has to go mathura to kill Kansa. I felt very offended .😕😕 I wonder what creative's are thinking .This is not a normal bond . some are justifying this as reality ,Reality Hain bhi, they are not showing any remedies to solve this thing.People i think forgot there are more better persons than dixits .in reality world And far more self respecting women than post marriage sonakshi dixit .who also capable of handling families issues without compromising there self respect in reality world. My problem is 180 degree turn of sona's character after marriage ,how come one's become just another person whole together after marriage .maybe CV's wanted to convey young girls see after you married your lover ,even if he treated you like a shit .you have to bear his families taunts. No matter what just do sasu Ma ke Seva even if she insulted your mom dad.their definition of ACHI Bahu . 😕

It is Jocasta complex only.I will be very proud of kRPKAB , if they show this as a mental issue .waise there is lots taboo in India regarding mental health.CV please Send Ishwari to psychiatrist , please don't normalise Her behaviour by comparing her to Yasoda . 😕 PS Omkara movie shown very cleverly Oedipus complex between tabu and shahid character 👏

I have a feeling that probably coz Supriya ji is a senior actor, they are pedestalize her everytime, but they don't realise how the lead characters are getting demeaned and the show goes down the drain.
Even vicky and elena have more guts to speak than dev and sona. Phew!

Supriyaji is very talented actress ,I have started this show for her only .It's pity how her character has gone into toss.whenever she told us to wait for ishwari's growth ,how it was her Journey from best mother to best MIL ,i feel really sad because it was responsibity of writers to convey more effectively ,if audience are not understanding Ishwari ,it was failure from writers part not audience.

Agreed
Like I said... it was a teeny tiny point earner. The main thing that has started annoying me is that no one talks in depth.

Sona put up such an elaborate tantrum. Her baba had to hear so much for it. And she didn't even discuss the matter properly. Partly because Dev I don't think can even take more than that much feedback. Partly it's her fault.

Neither did Dev talk to his mom in private.

I guess that's what the show is all about. They will possibly evolve. Haven't done so in the last 50 episodes.
It's an endless cycle of misunderstanding, patchup, insults... repeat

In Red -- Completely agree. Its all at such a superficial level. So frustrating as a viewer.

I am critical because I know there is so much potential. Show us some serious stuff like you did pre and post confession

I am even getting tired of Sona pushing away her husband. Don't you guys even give each other a peck on the cheeks or forehead before going to work.

Yess!! Dev and sona must surely be the most unattracted to each other couple in TV land. There is absolutely nothing shown to indicate that they want to be with each other physically. Standing at 2 feet distance from each other even in their bedroom. Is this how newly married couples behave?? and Sona's constant pushing away of Dev..its like she has been married to him for 20 years and has tired of him. The makers are doing a useless job of portraying even affection, let alone attraction between husband and wife. I keep expecting Sona to say 'Sit' and "down boy' every time she pushes him away and sends him to office. Does she not crave to be with him, considering they get barely any time together from solving the multiple problems of the demented Dixits?

lets be honest with ourselves, In the television era where a DIL is merely a punch bag, people break relations at the touch of a hat , super naturals my list is endless, this show is something where occasionally at least we get to see some matured people that we come across in our daily life.

Nope I am not saying what they are showing is correct, all I am saying is at least I don't get to see too crappy, unreasonable, or illogical sequences ALL the time and not to forget the irritating camera zooms and sudden lights.

As I often said, sona is treated like a doormat because she CHOOSES to become one. Respecting and trying to gel with your In-laws family should not come at the expense of leaving behind the family that supported us all the while.

Dev, you love your mother to moon and back, that's between you and her. it does not give her any right what so ever to walk all over the others. The way she spoke to Bijoy Bose is a total NO. I will not find fault in her saying that she is unhappy that Dev was asked to leave in the middle of the night (as a parent, you have a right to express your dissatifaction in the way your kid is treated )BUT if he did not go back to his home and instead decided to spend the night on the streets along with Sona, then BIJOY BOSE is no way responsible for THAT.

Sona, you don't want to aggravate the anger of your already smoldering MIL fine, but at the same time, you don't have to run immediately to pack your things as a scared child . you could have just finished ur breakfast that you left mid way or better still invited Ishwari to join.

And finally for a girl who planned her SR at a resort, i find you a totally idiot pushing away ur husband everytime he tries to even as much as stand close to your in the confines of your own bedroom.

finally no matter how much we rant and show our disappointment, at the end of the day this is just a show and to expect anything rational would be too much.

In red -- how very true. If only more women thought like this.

In blue - Totally agree. But everyone seems to get reduced to mute spectators every time Ish appears. As for Sona constantly pushing away her insanely hot husband even when they're alone, yeah she's a fool alright😆
