Actually no, hun. That is how most Indian boys are. Come outside India and you will see that in any culture where men are not given special preferences, they know how to stand up for what is right, not just for their own family.

I know men from India, USA, Canada, Denmark and Brazil and not a single one of them is like that.

Tia... Seriously! Tired of this mute silence and spineless attitude by the leads in front of ishwari. CVs itney smart hokar bhi itney stupid kyon hain?

I have a feeling that probably coz Supriya ji is a senior actor, they are pedestalize her everytime, but they don't realise how the lead characters are getting demeaned and the show goes down the drain.

Even vicky and elena have more guts to speak than dev and sona. Phew!

My issue is not Supriyaji. She is an excellent actor. The fact that she has managed to make us absolutely hate Ishwari is kudos to her acting.

But my issue is with CVs showing a hero who makes bold claim and promises which he can't keep even for one freaking day.

How can anyone call someone hero who can't even keep the dignity of his words? I am sorry the cute scenes with Asha was ruined because of his attitude.

Asha treated Dev like her son and he showed his in-law colours the moment his real mother arrived.

dev has a history of making promises he cant keep. by hook or by crook, he gets sona.. always! fault is not dev's, its sona's! sona's way of communicating her feelings was a joke... in 2 mins that convo was over with dev saying sorry sorry 😡

dev wont change cause sona is adjusting to him, making all sacrifices.

ishwari's behavior.. disgraceful!

Ishwari's concerns were valid but why did everyone seem so scared and intimidated by her?

I find it ridiculous. She acted like she was God's gift to mankind. On top of it, both dev and sona were spectators where she started lamenting and got borderline insulting.

Anyway, I think the CVs wanted to upset us and they did not succeed - coz this was enough to make him angry, disappointed is an understatement.

Haven't watched the episode yet, but reading your excellent analysis it seems Dev's remote works only inside the bedroom (wasn't any different before) and goes on mute outside the room. Oh sorry I forgot he respects his mom so much that he lets everyone keep getting insulted by her and also allows his relatives insult his oh so dear love of life Sonakshi. Wow what a way to show his respect to his God mom. Kya pyaar hai. Sachhi "Kuch rang pyaar ke aise bhi". Apni biwi ki roz insult karwao, isiko to asli pyaar kehtey hain.
Definitely Dev's character has grown, but for worse. 😡 Or lets say he has been like this since the beginning. "Glad cv's are keeping the character's intact oh wait we were expecting a character growth for better, who said that again...!!!

Sad Sonakshi's character has taken a full 180 o turn after she fell in love with Dev. She gives zero respect to her parents. She is turning into another Dixit. Kehte hain na, aadmi achhi batein sikhne main bhaley hi waqt lagaye, par buri aadatyein seekhaney mein jara sa bhi waqt nahin lagata. Proof is Sonakshi.

Love and romance without dignity means absolutely nothing.
