Sorry hun. His facial expression doesn't mean a whit if he is prepared to listen his mother embarrass his in-laws. And even after reaching home did he say even once that she should not have insulted his in-laws? She should have asked him question in private? No. He was busy apologizing and dancing to her tune. So his mother insulted his in-laws, big deal. So his Mami insulted his wife, big deal. He'd get offended when someone points finger to his own mother or Neha. Why bother being offended for outsiders?

Read my love languages thread. Dev more than Sona makes promises and doesn't keep them. He earned a few points by asking his mom to quieten atleast using his facial expressions

But I tell you what... they should have called Ishwari first thing when the duo came home. Either the elders or Dev or Sona. Ishwari had a valid concern. Her actions were not justified. But her concern was

ok.. I am back to rant more...

And here I thought he would object to Ishwari's behavior at Bose house while they are in the car.
I thought at least Sonakshi will give her cold shoulder...

Also, why was Sonakshi so mild during the night out? You push me down the bed, your room colors are bland... 😲 seedhe point pe aao no... tum aur tumhari family mujhse badtameezi kartein hein 😡

I don't know why he even bothers to make promises? His promises has never been worth the breath he wastes making them. At least the men who openly claim that they only care about their own family are better. At least they don't pretend to be anything else.

Agree on certain points

When it comes to defend sona and her family, Dev has no guts.

Dev keep promising, but never fulfils. He does not know he cannot make every one happy at time. This is where I am upset. If Dev is silent, I don't understand why cannot sona spk up and shut radha's mouth.

Let us see how long he will take to stand up for his wife.

At least your husband didn't make false promises and claim that he could not keep. That's my problem. If he openly stated that he doesn't consider Sona's family as his own, that's one thing. But he says something and does something else. You are right, he could have told his mother, "Let's talk at home." But he said nothing.

Agree wid u

For a child like dev it gets really difficult to oppose parents ...i have seen it in family ...my husband are two brothers ...my husband is a very obedient very responsible kind for his parents as he had been constantly fed ki bahut mushkilon se paala h n all ...he ll never voice it out even if its wrong dey r doing ..whereas my bil is completely opp ..he does watever he wants and my in laws dey keep on getting things done thru my husband its like jis par zor jyaada chalta h chalate h ...i saw it fortwo years ..complained to my husband in tid bits wen i saw he just cant oppose his parents on any matter took d reigns in my hands ...directly said for some matters talk to me ...n i too 2 years to do so ...n now after two more years he knows sometimes its necessary for u to say no even if dey r ur parents ...
So here i think dev needs some time and some reality checks to directly shut ishwari or at least say her to stay away frm some matters ...dats y i m waiting for prenup ...
But yes i agree wen ishwari was saying all dis he cud ve just said hum ghar pe baat karenge ...although ishwari just quitened only after dev said maa in a tone dat saz its enuf but den tab tak bhi kaafi keh liya usne

Kal ka short progress par pani fir gaya.😕😕😕

I am more pissed off with sona , I mean ishwari is directly insulting her family ,and she became mute.

and that kanha and yasoda comparison yuck !! 😕😕 They are not like kanha yasoda . Yasoda loved kanha selflessly. This ishwari is mother of selfishness.

Dev is spineless guy who don't have any identity of his own , his sense of morality, lack of conviction, such a turnoff this guy is 😕 .

Why there is amnesia regarding Ishwari insecurity ,suddenly both didn't know her problem , dev to dumb hain hi but sona clearly knows about ishwari issues .It's like they forgot why she popped those pills, why dev throw out sonakshi from his life.😕

Agreed
Like I said... it was a teeny tiny point earner. The main thing that has started annoying me is that no one talks in depth.

Sona put up such an elaborate tantrum. Her baba had to hear so much for it. And she didn't even discuss the matter properly. Partly because Dev I don't think can even take more than that much feedback. Partly it's her fault.

Neither did Dev talk to his mom in private.

I guess that's what the show is all about. They will possibly evolve. Haven't done so in the last 50 episodes.
It's an endless cycle of misunderstanding, patchup, insults... repeat

Don't bother watching the episode Neela. It was an utter disgrace. I could not believe the family who treated Dev and Sona with so much love, this is how they paid them back.

And you know how Dev and Sona treated Ishwari for insulting her family? Dev asked Ishwari to come with them and Sona was making sign language for Ice cream treat for Ishwari while she kept sulking in the front seat as if Bose family came to her home and insulted her.

My blood literally boiled watching this pair of utter disloyal people.

If he had stood up for them but didn't give them a single Diwali gift, I'd have thought he was a great son-in-law. And you know what? They don't even expect anything else from their daughter and son-in-law. Why would they? You expect thing from people who loves you.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but this is exactly what I had said earlier. No matter how Sonakshi can bring out the best in Dev and no matter how Dev can see the reality with his open eyes and brain, question is: would he be the same (changed for good Dev) once he is in front of Mateshwari? And we get the answer every time Eassswarii steps in 😡🤢 👎🏼

Can someone please tell him - what Ishwari did as his mother for him certainly needs to be acknowledged and not forgotten and he has already proved himself and paid off her debt - monetarily and obligations wise too. That does not give her ANY right to treat him like a puppet. PERIOD! In the least, can Dev grow up and give a clear warning to the others in his family - especially GKB, NEha & Vicky - that he will not tolerate ANY insults / wrong language for ANY of the Boses and that included now Mrs. Dixit. Can he for ONCE act like a MAN? 😳

Sona... she's following Dev. Her character is irreversibly mutilated. I was hoping for her to answer both GKB and Ish the way she did after their break up on hearing naale ka paani CRAP. But SADLY...she prefers to keep quiet. Perhaps she's realized it's not going to do her any good by stooping to their level 😕

Ufff... my blood is boiling without seeing the episode.

I know, I can't let idiot CVs spoil my mood on a vacation day 😃. SO carry on the downhill CVs, it's your loss at the end of the day! No wonder there is no change in the TRPs and I'd be surprised if any award comes their way.

You are damn right and good for you. I am not at all understanding wife when it comes to my family - be it my in-laws or my own family. If anyone and that includes member of my own family ever tried to insult another, I won't spare them.

And if my husband ever behaved like Dev, he knows that I won't spare him either.

If I can love both family like my own, I can protect their honour like my own as well.

Just because I became a wife and daughter-in-law doesn't mean I am no longer a daughter.

Ishwari can certainly be concerned for her son. But she has no right to walk into Sona's house and insult her family. She can insult her son as much as he is willing to take.

Agree with you totally . I switched channels while she started her usual gyan...I cant understand why Dev allowed his mom to speak so much...Trust me he has a very understanding wife...not all women would have tolerated what she did today .. I wouldnt !!
