I cant tell you how much I had enjoyed our show this week . Perfectly balanced episodes throughout this week showing the progress of each relationship ... what a way to start the week with that beautiful morning scene . No wonder Sona's eyes got teared up !!! I loved loved loved all DevAkshi moments , they were pure gems and each reflected their growing closeness - emotional and physical ...Just when I thought how could they keep their hands off each other in these initial days , Dev says how its getting difficult for him to behave in front of his family !!! I remember complaining about lack of intimacy last time when they wrote on each other , and here I got chills seeing those kisses !!! And our Dev is getting naughtier by day , finding opportunities to be close to his wife even in the impossible situations like when she prepares for Pooja or tending to her burns šŸ˜‰... And the best part is how they are embracing the feeling of being married to each other, Dev's eyes are full of pride when he look at his beautiful wife , and he is not shy to admit it (Your partner admitting to someone else that he/she is proud of you is worth more than thousand I love you's and gifts , for me ) and he cant withstand Sona's insults and would not take even a second to turn on his angry mode , Sona is not hesitant to hug him in front of his family to show her happiness now šŸ‘... And cherry on top , Dev is shedding his inhibitions and trying to open up about his bitter past , this time Sona didn't had to fight for her life , for him to share about his past !!! I was so overwhelmed with her response, a simple I Love you , but it had her compassion , love , care, and assurance that she would be there for him ... And he is ready to carry out all her commands to cheer up his family , good he listened to SonašŸ‘ . All his gifts had a personal touch this time and it brought the intended smile on everyone even on Neha (Is he the same guy who gifted calculator to his sister on her birthday) I m loving these transitions ... And his action plan for being the best son-in-law is already on move , and its working !!!!

Neha-Ranveer issue , CVs are taking their sweet time to solve this , and they are doing a brilliant job here . Not only they are showing both Neha n Ranveer's POV's but it also helps to examine other equations in the family . Ishwari is slowly opening up to Sona , and for first time I saw Ishwari genuinely worried for her daughter without having any ulterior motive ... Loved how she defended Sona in front of maamiji , and how she gave credit to Sona for her dedication in her work and how she compared her with Riya . I know Ishwari has a long way to go , but it's a good start !!!!

And finally one scene which I wanted to see like forever , Sona-Neha bonding , I don't know if CVs were going for any symbolism there , by Sona pointing out to her to use oil /serum before using that blow dryer , but it was good to see Neha getting some personal attention for a change , we never saw such Ishwari-Neha moments . Sona was trying to remind her off the good old days , and how Ranveer's love made her happy . And it did work , Neha's pani puri scene was the proof . That was so lovely to see her sister's efforts to cheer her up , even though Ranveer gifted her a beautiful ear rings before , it didn't trigger Ranveer's memory for her , but those pani puris did !!! She remembered how he used to pay attention to her likes and dislikes , yes that's what she actually missed ... Poverty and the hard life they lived in the past had left scars in all of them , but for Neha more than the poverty it was negligence she had to face which left deeper scar , she was done with being the second priority . And Ranveer choosing his family over her in a critical situation when she thought alternate solutions were possible , opened that old wound !!!! And all her issues started from there . When Ranveer told Dev "You stay away from my family , and I would keep myself away from "YOURS" " indicating she is not his family anymore , we could not see the anger but hurt in her eyes ...

In a way I believe, Sona also has the same issue . The break-up had left a scar in both Dev and Sona . She still has fear of loosing Dev,of being the second priority to him, which is exactly why she goes out of her ways to please Ishwari . She was the girl who told Dev during break up , she would not even think about her parents and will agree to marry him in that moment if he ask her right there and then , yet rejected him on face when he did that later on .When she told him first time she was asking him to take a stand for their love , but Dev coming back to her only when his mom approved meant she is still lesser priority for him... I fear todays Dev's outburst and his words "when it comes to my family , I don't care about right and wrong" may remind her he is still the same , and it may reopen that wound ... For Dev the situation leading up to break-up is still his nightmare . For the first time he could not see his mom's misery , being blinded in his love, leading to almost loosing his mother ... But his impulsive decision of sacrificing his love made him miserable and he had to pay a heavy price for it, he almost lost Sona too ... Good thing is, it made Dev vigilant now a days as he may be aware of his mother's insecurity in a deeper level ... Dev's worried face looking at his innocent Sona sleeping on his lap , says a lot ... He would not take his mom's words on face value now , even when Ishwari says its ok that somethings need to be changed after marriage , he could see through her words ..

Yes they all still bear those scars and those wounds are not healed yet ... But I have high hopes on "Bose Orientation Program" 😃, and is eagerly waiting how it's going to work !!! I truly appreciate makers for the brilliant job they are doing , especially the writers for the past week !!!! I was very busy and could not post anything last week , but was enjoying the show to the fullest , but I was surprised to see forum reactions and thought its better off enjoying the show away from forum ... But for this week our show deserved a post , so here I am trying to gather my scattered thoughts , and typing in this odd hour on Friday night while struggling to keep my eyes open !!!

PS: After that brilliant face-off between Ranveer and Dev in his office and his bang on line about Dev not able to see him beyond "Neha's husband " , I felt this new case against Neha was a low blow from Ranveer . Why do you want to tarnish a girl's image , if you are ready to let go and move on with your life !!! I may be a bit biased here you know why šŸ˜‰!!!!

Sharing one of my favorite moment here from todays episode !!!! Credit to the twitter up-loader !! 🤪

Loved your take of the episode. It was really beautiful and gave me the old feel back. Now it is with a smile that I go to sleep like our good old days. Felt so happy to see your post today. Deeps also posted yesterday.

Welcome back desigirl. Was missing your posts .
Nice analysis and beautiful post. I realky like what they are showing now a days. All the episodes ate well balanced and they even showed some good in gkb ... Couldnt believe it.. Ishwari has toned down and nehas drama took the centre stage. I think it has hit rock bottom and would be interesting to see how they patchup things from here... I guess first step would be to get devs support and ask him to tone down his aggressive behavior towards rv and his family.cant wait for next week

Good points. I wrote this in another post. Here's what I got out of Dev and Ishwari scene yesterday which I think is probably the most significant change in Dev's character growth.

If Ishwari had said the same sentence in the same voice before (say back when Dev and Sona were dating or even in the early days of their marriage), Dev's instinctive reaction would have been guilt. That was always Ishwari's whip to make Dev dance to her tunes.

She injects 80% sadness, 10% pretence of sacrifice, 10% teary/shiny eyes and 100% manipulation to get Dev to feel guilty for letting her down.

In the past, when he first fell in love, he felt uneasy with his own happiness. It was all new for him. Just like when someone who has been abused for very long time, feels awkward if someone hugs them or treats them with love. They wonder if it's okay for them to accept that love or if they even deserve their own happiness.

But now Dev is slowly starting to realize that he deserves to be loved and that Sona's love is not going to go away. Now he is taking Ishwari's words at face value because that's where his happiness lies. He is no longer looking for catch or hidden meanings behind his mother's expression because now he knows that he will ruin his and Sona's happiness if he keeps looking for hidden messages.

Added to the fact is his acceptance of Sona as his own which is also guiding him to solidify their relationship.
