excellent post dear👏 missed ur post pls try to post regularly if possible😊
Hi guys. This is my first time writing here, though I have been following the forum. With all the analysis going on with Dev and Sona's relationship, I wonder is love even worth it? I don't think Sona would have been dragged into this kind of drama if she had not married Dev, but someone like Ritwik. Why does the girl have to sacrifice so much for the sake of 'love'? While Sona is breaking her back to please Dev's family, how much effort has he put to do the same for Sona's family? Gifting a car does not count. People might like to watch the few romantic moments between the couple, but is that enough to maintain stability and equality in a relationship? Would they not have had the same fate as Ranveer and Neha if Dev was poor? For all these reasons, I would have preferred a drama free life with someone like Ritwik.
Sunnyyy my darling 🤗🤗 What a timing , I can't believe we both did the same kind of post with almost same content in the exact ungodly hour😆 am completely surprised with our thought process dear ..aaja gale lag jaaa meri bichadi hui behena 🤗
Lovely post 👏 What else can I say when you have written everything so beautifully..Just a big big thanks for taking time and penning your thoughts for this stupendous week 😊 So good to see your refreshing post and that tweet was so apt 🤣 No one in million years would have thought out of all people GKB will heed to Sona 😆

... And the best part is how they are embracing the feeling of being married to each other, Dev's eyes are full of pride when he look at his beautiful wife , and he is not shy to admit it (Your partner admitting to someone else that he/she is proud of you is worth more than thousand I love you's and gifts , for me ) and he cant withstand Sona's insults and would not take even a second to turn on his angry mode , Sona is not hesitant to hug him in front of his family to show her happiness now ... And cherry on top , Dev is shedding his inhibitions and trying to open up about his bitter past , this time Sona didn't had to fight for her life , for him to share about his past !!! I was so overwhelmed with her response, a simple I Love you , but it had her compassion , love , care, and assurance that she would be there for him ... And he is ready to carry out all her commands to cheer up his family , good he listened to Sona . All his gifts had a personal touch this time and it brought the intended smile on everyone even on Neha (Is he the same guy who gifted calculator to his sister on her birthday) I m loving these transitions ... And his action plan for being the best son-in-law is already on move , and its working !!!!
The gift scene was really beautiful and it showed how Devakshi have started working as a team. Sona's assurance helped him open up emotionally.
And finally one scene which I wanted to see like forever , Sona-Neha bonding , I don't know if CVs were going for any symbolism there , by Sona pointing out to her to use oil /serum before using that blow dryer , but it was good to see Neha getting some personal attention for a change , we never saw such Ishwari-Neha moments . Sona was trying to remind her off the good old days , and how Ranveer's love made her happy . And it did work , Neha's pani puri scene was the proof . That was so lovely to see her sister's efforts to cheer her up , even though Ranveer gifted her a beautiful ear rings before , it didn't trigger Ranveer's memory for her , but those pani puris did !!! She remembered how he used to pay attention to her likes and dislikes , yes that's what she actually missed ... Poverty and the hard life they lived in the past had left scars in all of them , but for Neha more than the poverty it was negligence she had to face which left deeper scar , she was done with being the second priority . And Ranveer choosing his family over her in a critical situation when she thought alternate solutions were possible , opened that old wound !!!! And all her issues started from there . When Ranveer told Dev "You stay away from my family , and I would keep myself away from "YOURS" " indicating she is not his family anymore , we could not see the anger but hurt in her eyes ...
I too loved the convo between Sona and Neha. Sona applying hair serum on Neha's hair before using hair dryer was like she was telling her to nurture the relationship before putting her point across bluntly. Good point about the earrings and panipuri. It's not about grand gifts but about little things that make you feel special in someone's life. I just love Neha. I identify with her. Not with her neglected childhood or poverty, but her bluntness. No matter how much Neha barks at Sona(she is my favorite), I somehow don't get angry, because I know that she is angry at someone else and just misdirecting it. And I never could understand Ranveer point. I always found him annoying. Not because of his poverty, but for the lack of ambition! When he thinks that he is capable of bigger things, why didn't he try for a better job?! He could have helped his family! If he took up a better paying job for Neha's sake with her brother's help, then why is he not consulting her in his decisions regarding money? If he didn't feel like consulting her with monetary help to his own family, why did he blow steam when Neha spent some extra money in her own brother's wedding. Dev is the one who recommended him for that job if I am not wrong. If he stayed in the old job how would he have helped his ailing mother or his brother's family? Would he let them suffer then? Why is he offended when Neha took her own mother's help in giving a reasonable gift to Sona on her marriage? It's good to not be pompous, but certain occasions demand certain gifts, because we live in a society. Everyone will judge her maternal family as well as her marital family based on what she gives on that occasion. She was not splurging in a distant relative's marriage, but giving a good enough gift to her own brother and his wife! Ranveer's hypocrisy annoys me to no end. I don't like it when people compare him to Sona. He is nothing like her. Self respect doesn't mean that you don't take help from anybody, nor does it mean that you continue to be poor just because you are proud of your beginnings. He is just a regular man full of ego, who doesn't understand his wife even a little bit but expects her to understand his family problems! Not interested in him or his bhabhi. If Dev showed Neha a way to make her own money instead of getting a better job for his brother in law in hope that he will take care of her, she wouldn't be this miserable. That's my pov on Neha-Ranveer situation.
In a way I believe, Sona also has the same issue . The break-up had left a scar in both Dev and Sona . She still has fear of loosing Dev,of being the second priority to him, which is exactly why she goes out of her ways to please Ishwari . She was the girl who told Dev during break up , she would not even think about her parents and will agree to marry him in that moment if he ask her right there and then , yet rejected him on face when he did that later on .When she told him first time she was asking him to take a stand for their love , but Dev coming back to her only when his mom approved meant she is still lesser priority for him... I fear todays Dev's outburst and his words "when it comes to my family , I don't care about right and wrong" may remind her he is still the same , and it may reopen that wound ... For Dev the situation leading up to break-up is still his nightmare . For the first time he could not see his mom's misery , being blinded in his love, leading to almost loosing his mother ... But his impulsive decision of sacrificing his love made him miserable and he had to pay a heavy price for it, he almost lost Sona too ... Good thing is, it made Dev vigilant now a days as he may be aware of his mother's insecurity in a deeper level ... Dev's worried face looking at his innocent Sona sleeping on his lap , says a lot ... He would not take his mom's words on face value now , even when Ishwari says its ok that somethings need to be changed after marriage , he could see through her words ..
Yes they all still bear those scars and those wounds are not healed yet ... But I have high hopes on "Bose Orientation Program" , and is eagerly waiting how it's going to work !!!
Me too.
I truly appreciate makers for the brilliant job they are doing , especially the writers for the past week !!!! I was very busy and could not post anything last week , but was enjoying the show to the fullest , but I was surprised to see forum reactions and thought its better off enjoying the show away from forum ... But for this week our show deserved a post , so here I am trying to gather my scattered thoughts , and typing in this odd hour on Friday night while struggling to keep my eyes open !!!
PS: After that brilliant face-off between Ranveer and Dev in his office and his bang on line about Dev not able to see him beyond "Neha's husband " , I felt this new case against Neha was a low blow from Ranveer . Why do you want to tarnish a girl's image , if you are ready to let go and move on with your life !!!
Yup. Neha deserves a better mother, a better brother and a better husband.
The three Dixits - Eeshwari, Dev and Neha, are undergoing a transformation. The butterfly in the mirror in Neha's room symbolizes that. Hope the mother and daughter come out of their cocoon with flying colors. Dev is still annoying but he is almost there, or so I think.
