Hey guys i am back with the next part of my SS..
I know its been too long since i last update...
Im sorry for the delay and i hope this part makes up for it...
Saurabh and Elena were waiting for what seemed to be forever for them..
The anticipation was killing them..They wanted Sona to have her share of happiness as they had seen her go through her worst phase in the past few days...
They were impatiently strolling around when they saw two figures emerging from the dark hallway..
They couldn't believe what their eyes were witnessing..
It was them...Dev and Sona walking hand in hand and blushing all the way while approaching them...
They were in shock...
"Dada" she called Saurabh but he was in no state to react..
He was trying to process but she called him again ,this time a little louder..
"DADA " that pitch was high enough to get elena and saurabh both out of shock...
Elena could not contain her excitment and just leaped to hug them both...
"I knew it ... I knew it ... I knew it..." she said while hopping from one place to another..
" Mujhe pata tha Dev babu apni Sona ko aise nhi jane denge...
Aakhir Hum aapke hai kon se, hum dil ke chuke sanam ho hi gaya na " dev and sona couldn't help but blush at her statement...
"Thank God, Dev babu aapne bacha liya hume warna yaha to ulta scene tha ...
Yaha Paro apne Dev ke liye Devdas huye baithi thi, pata nhi kitane dino se " saurabh said...
Dev looked at Sona with amusement while she tried to look away saving her from the embrassemnet...
" Sona teko pata nhi hai aaj dev babu ne kitane logo ko khush kar diya...
Chal ghar chal jaldi.. Maa aur baba kitane khush honge yeh sunkar ki unki pyaari beti US nhi ja rahi unhe chod ke...mai aur elena gaadi lekar aate hai " saying so they both took off leaving behind the lovebirds all by themselves...
Before Dev could ask her about what just happened...
" It's a long story baade mein aaram se bataungi..Have some patience " she said..
Dev smirked looking at her and said " Okay, i can live with patience " ...
"Tumhe kahin leke jana hai chalogi mere saath, i know bohot raat ho gayi hai but it's important " he said
"I will come.. I trust you..." she said ..
Elena and Sourabh returned honking the car horn...
" chal sona, bag de " saurabh said...
" Dada, actually wo main Mr.Dixit ke saath kahin jaa rahi hoon..bag bhi unke hi car mein rehene do..
Aap bus ghar jaao and maa aur baba se kuch mat kehena mai unhe surprise dena chahiti hoon...okay...
Thank you ..." saying so she hugged him tight as she knew he will have her back...
Saurabh helped dev keep her luggage in his car and before going hugged dev tightly..
It was as if he was thanking Dev for loving his sister back and taking her out of her misery..Even dev some how understood the unspoken words and hugged him back...
Taking their leave suarabh and elena left...
While opening the car door for her Dev said " Here, you go Miss Bose "
Sona rolled her eyes and looked at him " abhi bhi Miss.Bose ? "
Dev blushed and said "Sonakshi"
Really " Sonakshi ? " sona said in an unhappy tone
" i would like it if u call me sona " she said
" I would like that too " he said not breaking the eye contact..
The car behind them started honking and they were brought back to time...
They both quickly got into the car and left ...
" Waise Mr. Dixit hum ja kahan rahe hai " sona asked with curosity
" wo surprise hai, pata chal jayega thodi der mein...
And by the way its Dev for you" dev said with a playful smile on his face...
Sona got exactly what he meant and blushed like never before...
The journey from Mr. Dixit to Mr. Obhodhro to Dev was a long one... But she knew it was worth all the wait ...
In 15 mins Dev stopped the car..
Sona looked around to figure out where they had come, but she couldn't figure out the place as it was dark..
He got her out of the car and asked for her hand...
She was surprised to see this forthcoming side of Dev.
She just slid her hand in his and they started to walk...
It was a small but beautiful garden with small lights on to keep it sufficiently lit up in the dark...
The garden had something in its aroma and it was refreshing...
The smell of the soil, the rattling of the leaves due to winds, the fragrance of the flowers...it was all smoothing...
He took her to a small corner bench and made her sit on it...
He got down on both his knees took both her hands in his and looked up to her in her eyes...
" pata hai sona , bachapan se leke aaj tak jab bhi circumstances control se bahar ho jaate the, when i used to feel fragile, and helpless or vulnerable, when i needed answers to the thousands questions that my brain used to have. I used to come here to this place...I never really got any answers here but i use to be at peace when i used to come here...My brain used to not have any more ask questions and i used to feel refreshing after coming here..
This is my goto place when i need to be alone...Nobody knows about this, that i come here, not even mother...
Do u know why did i bring you here ? " he asked gently still holding her hands in his..
She just signed a NO but her eyes showed the curosity she had..
" I used to come here when i needed to be at peace , but today i am here with you
Because.. I am peace.. All the inner turmoil i had all these years , all the questions that went unanswered, today i have a answer to all of them " he said with an intense gaze on his face..
" what is the answer dev " sona asked him..
He fashed a radiant smile like never before and tightened his grip on her hands
" YOU...
You are the answer to my every unanswered question, you are the strength for my every weakness, you are the light that takes out the darkness and you are the PEACE for my restlesness ...
IT'S YOU "
Sona couldn't believe her ears...
Today the man of few words spoke at length ...
The guy who never shared things shared each and every feeling he was going through...
She must have done something that god gave her the greatest gift she could ever ask for, she thought to herself...
" I have never been truely, positively, completely 100 % me..
I don't know who i am or who i am going to be ...
But i do know that i am more me than i have ever been when i am with you and that right there is how i know that YOU COMPELTE ME " he said as his eyes sparkled with the tears he had in his eyes...
They were the eyes of happiness...He was truely happy today..
" You know Sona, i never thought that some one will be of that importance in my life as my mother...
I always thought i could never imagine loving and caring for some one that much...
But then you walked in my life...you understood the love i have for my mother... you understood our relation and how we mean the world to each other... You never judged me on that ... you took care of her in the same way i would have taken care of her... you knew what she meant to me and to respected it...
She is my lifeline...
I am nothing without her...
I never thought i would feel the same for some other girl...
But i did...
You too are my lifeline...
I am nothing without you two...
She taught me to survive because that was needed then and you taught me to live..
She brought me in this world to live and you, you set my heart to beat..
She taught me to take responsibilties and you taught me that its okay to be careless and naughty at times...
She made me respect and be thankful towards the people around and you taught me to love them..
She nourished me and your love made me flourish...
She is my mother,for her i am the perfect child in the entire whole wide world..
But you, you accepted me with all my flaws and shortcomings...
She is the strength that made me who i am today and you Sona, you are the strength that makes me look forward to every single minute of my life..
She stood beside me when i needed to build a life for me and my sisters and you..."
he smiles as he looks at her hands in his continues
" And you stood with me when i needed to figure out my life..
When i needed to know that i can be that normal person who falls in love with his soulmate, and have a happily everafter..
Sona i always thought sharing things would complicate things for people around me but today, today i know sharing things with the right person unburdens you, untangles all your problems...It's like magic..
You know problems won't get solved by merely sharing them but you still like to believe that it does..
And that magic is YOU..."
Sona was overwhelmed by his honest confession. She burst out into tears because it was a big deal for her, for them...Because he thought she had some hand in shaping the man he is today like his mom had too..For anyone who had known Dev Dixit knows the amount of love he has for his mother, the devotion he has for her..And giving her the credit for something like that made her realise the amount of respect and the amount of love he has for her..She couldn't be more proud to have chosen him as the love of his life...
Looking her burst into tears of happiness and satisfaction made him realise that she got what he exactly meant...
Any other girl would have thought it to a comparison between the mother and her and that she had an upperhand in shaping him and boasted with pride..
But not Sona..
Not HIS Sona..she knew what he meant...Instead, she was humbled and moved by his words..
It showed the depth to which she understood him...And that is why he was Proud to love,to choose her, to be with her..
She completed him in everyway possible...
He cupped her face with both his hands and wipped off her tears and looked in her eyes and said,
" The Dev my mother shaped knows responsibility, care, duties, respect, compassion..
And the Dev you shaped knows
Love, life, laughter, fun, jealousy, naughtiness..
You both make me a Complete MAN...
You two are the pillars of my life and i cannot even imagine spending any minute without anyone of you.."
He said it with pride in his eyes, as his eyes sparkled they conveyed how thankful he was that she came in his life and filled the void that even he didn't know existed...
She knew the man in front of her is the man she likes,she loves, she respects, she adores and today by bringing her here in this very garden with him, he has shown that he too loves her unconditionally and considers her his Life...
And that is all she had ever wanted...
She smiled at him as he kissed her forehead...
She felt the respect and love he had for her in that kiss and closed her eyes to cherish that moment forever...
He did not get down on one knee, he did not ask a question,he did not shower her with roses and stars..
He did nothing the traditional way and yet It was the best proposal she could have ever imagined...
SHE LOVED HIM AND HE LOVED HER period
That's all mattered...
