SS: Jab dil ke faisle dimaag se hote hai part 5
* PRESENT DAY *
Elena knocked on the door and entered...
She saw Sona there, sitting in front of the mirrior, lost in her own little world...
But then whom was she kidding, even she knew that her little world came crashing down to pieces when Dev decided to get married to the girl of his mother's choice...
She couldn't help but feel bad for Sona...
All her sister wanted was One true love, for her entire life , her peaceful little world with her and dev in it... but was that too much to ask ??
She has seen her fall in love, almost lose him to another girl then win him all over again all for HERSELF only to lose him again to some other girl...
She had seen her dejected , happy, sad, as a possessive girlfriend , as an understanding friend, through everything...
But today she had no strength to see her sister go through all that again..
She couldn't see her lose her love..but then again what else was she supposed to do..
The two of them who were supposed to fight for their love gave up and surrendered to their parents choices...
She wanted to make her realise that there was still hope...
But then again, she didn't want Sona to have hope again, which might have the same fate...
She saw Sona in the mirror and their eyes met...
Sona eyes expressed helplessness, hurt, dejection, betrayal while Elena's eyes were full of concern, love, care, respect, compassion and may be little bit of sympathy...
No words were exchanged between the two...Still Elena knew that Sona was crying and fighting inside, while Sona knew Elena supported her, consoled her, cared for her...
After all, these two were each others support system ...
After a minute or two, Elena signalled her that it was time and the boy's family were expecting to see her downstairs...
Sona got up as elena walked beside her, holding her hand, giving her the strength she needed to face the situation, maybe to accept it and even make a decision for the same...
Each step forward meant leaving behind Dev, their love, their memories, their friendship and moving ahead in life towards the unkown future..
One last time the two girls exchanged looks and Sona squeezed elena's hand before letting it go as she knew from now on it's totally her alone, deciding for her future and her family's happiness...
* 2 hours later *
Elena paced back and forth trying to make sense of the decision Sona had taken...
She had accepted the marriage proposal...
She called Nikki ...
Nikki, neha and riya after 3 months of Dev and Sona's hide and seek about their realtionship came to know about it...
They were elated to know that it was Sona, who changed their bhai and made him a better person...
Since then the four of them were best of friends and partners in crime for having their brother's or sister's back from the family when they went out on dates...
They were also upset when Dev decided to marry the girl their mom suggested...
For the record neha knew why all this was happening, she just did not want to accept it...
" Haa Elena, bolo...Tum speaker pe ho..Neha di aur riya bhi yehi hai..." nikki said..
" Yaar last hope wo bacha tha wo bhi gaya...
Usne shaadi ke haa bol diya " elena said in an irritated and frustrated mood...
" Kya ? " all three of them couldn't believe what they just heard...
They were hopeful that aleast Sona would fight for the both of them...But this last hope was scattered...
" mujhe pata hai ab kya karna hai " neha said and explained them everything...
She had planned that if sona and dev were to be brought at one place, they will realise that all the decisions that they have taken are wrong and they will give a second thought to it...
And then ishwari will come to know how much they love each other...
According to plan Nikki called Sona seeking for some urgent help and did not even give Sona a chance to say No...
Nikki was waiting with Dev in the garden area...
Sona was on time...But she did not have to guts to enter the house...To see HIM...
She have mustered a lot of courage to take that decision in the morning and if she was to see him again, she was going to be weak again...
So she decided she will directly meet nikki and leave...
And as she entered the garden she recieved the shock of the day...IT WAS HIM... he was in front of her eyes... they were so close yet so so far from each other..
She was speechless..She did not even have the strength to say a word..call out his name..
She just forze...every cell of her body was going weak...
She was feeling dizzy now...
With all that had happened, it was too much to take ...
She gathered all the strength she had, fighting against all the cells of her body who had given up and uttered a word...
" Nikki "
As soon as she said it a chill went down Dev's spine...
He didn't have to turn around to see that it was her...
He knew...He couldn't even believe his ears...
She was really here.. At the same place as he was...
But even he did not have the guts to face her...After all, he was guilty for breaking her heart...breaking all the promises he made to her...guilty of leaving her alone...
" Hi sona di, aa gayi aap ? " nikki said with a smile on her face as she was really happy to meet her...
She went and hugged her...
And tried to be as loud as possible
" Btw congrats di, maine suna aapki shaadi fix ho gayi...
Mai abhi riya aur neha di ko leke aati hoon" saying so she just ran to get ishwari from her room as per their plan ...
Dev felt lifeless...Did he just hear about HER MARRIAGE...
with someone else..he was angry ...really angry...that she was going to be someone else's and not HIS...All these days he had suppressed his anger but her marriage news was the last straw...
He couldn't take it anymore..
He turned around...His eyes were fumming with anger...
" Kya , tum shaadi kar sahi ho ?
Aur tumne mujhe batana jaroori bhi nhi samjha...
HOW COULD YOU SONAKSHI ?"
answer me ...Do i mean nothing to you..." he screamed his lungs out...
Sona who was standing lifeless there fighting her own body, couldn't bileve her ears...
Did he just say " How could i ? "
After all this, he is asking me this question...
Her lifeless body was suddenly taken over by a rage of emotions, that she had supressed when he had taken the decision someone else and she had supported him..
She did it for him..Did not say a word... accepted the decision and now his blasts on her like this...
She was never this angry in her entire life..
Angry on him for leaving her , angry on herself for not fighting and giving up, angry at the circumstancs that made them take these decisions, angry at God for giving him to her and then snatching him back only to give him to someone else...
ANGER was the only emotion her body felt...
She had enough of this...
" yeh aap mujhse puch rahe hai Mr.Dixit... Aap ???? She too screamed her lungs out...
Nikki was on the way with ishwari..But listening their screams riya and neha ran to witness something that for sure was not in their plan...
" Aap smajhte kya ho apane aapko...Chahate kya hai aap mujhse..." she was hurt and streams of eyes tears started flowing through her eyes, yet she was furious...
" Jab aap chahe aap decisions le sakte ho aur mai har decision manti aayi hoon...
Phir chahe wo decision aapke ke liye ho ya hum dono ke liye...
And iss baar mujh yeh decision lene se koi nahi rok sakta samjhe aap..." she shouted...
Nikki and Ishwari stood there in shock ..Ishwari was about to intervine when neha stopped her from doing so..She knew what was coming and wanted Ishwari to witness it and understand what her son has given away for her happiness...
" Aap ne kahan Sona mai pyaar karta hoon tumse mai maan gayi...
Aap ne kahan i mean the world to you, mai maan gayi...
Aapne kahan you will always love me, mai maan gayi...
Aap ne kahan maa nhi manegi shayad we need to take a break, mai maan gayi..
Aap ne kahan ki aap kisi aur se shaadi karoge , "
She broke down competely now
" mai tabhi maan gayi Dev "
She was down on her knees, sobbing her heart out...
She was hurt, lifeless, weak
But not finished ..
Today he had to know, how badly hurt she was...
" Maine kahan mai aunty ji se baat karti hoon, hum saath mein unhe manate hai , aap nhi maane...
Aapko lagata tha na ki aunty ki jo hamara yeh rishta manjoor nhi...par aapne kabhi usne baat karni ki koshis ki...hamare liye
Mere liye...
NAHII..."
she wiped her tears...and looked at him in the eye as if she was demanding an answer...
" aap hamesha kehete the na , wo keheti nhi hai par aap samajh jaate ho...
TOH MUJHE KYU NHI SAMAJAH PAAYE DEV ???
She vented out all the anger out in that one question...
" KYU NHI " she cried, louder this time...
Dev was shocked as hell...He froze the moment he saw her sob her life out...
All his fears were coming to reality now... he knew she was hurt...but she masked it so well that he wanted to believe that , the mask was the truth even when he knew it wasn't...
He wanted to believe that she was going to be okay without him..That she was strong enough to move on after all he made her go through...He knew that was not the truth, but believing made him less angry at hiself, at fate, less guilty for breaking her heart...
But now witnessing this...This shook him to the core...
The glass of virtual reality came crashing down and reality was far more worst that what he thought it to be...
She was hurt...
Really badly hurt...
She was broken and he was the reason behind it...
She was helpless, fighting him, fighting herself, her family, and she was all alone...
He wanted her to stop crying but before he could he heard her again
" Aapko kya laga, aap mujhe kahenge mai maan jaungi aur mujhe farak bhi nhi padega ???
Itani pattar nhi hoon mai...
Pyaar karti hoon mai aapse...
I HATE YOU...and even more than that
I HATE MYSELF for loving you sooo much that i can do anything to make you happy...
EVEN WHEN IT MEANS GIVING YOU AWAY, TO SOMEONE ELSE..."
She slowly got up, wiping her tears...
" Agar aap ko haq hai ki aap apani Maa ki khushi ke liye apana pyaar kurban kar skate hai...
Toh mujhe bhi haq hai ki mai apani maa aur baba ki khushi ke liye, shaadi ka decision loo ...
SAMJHE AAP ? "
Agar pyaar aapne kiya hai , toh maine bhi kiya hai...
Agar aap aage badh sakte hai , toh mai bhi aage badhungi...
Agar aap apana pyaar kurban kar sakte hai apani maa ki khushi ki liye, toh mai bhi kar sakti hoon maine maa aur baba ke liye...
Pagal thi mai aapke pyaar mein..Aapko hi zindagi maan chuki thi...Aaj tak dil ke suni...
Par aaj dimaag se faisle leke ka waqt aa gaya hai ..."
She said it with teary eyes, as if she was saying her final goodbye to him...
And without even looking around she left...
Leaving the Dev, ishwari, nikki, riya and Neha in shock...
