Milind's transformation

Most of us in the forum love Milsi to bits. His character has grown from strength to strength. I was watching an old episode of KYMT (truing to catch up since I was a late starter to the serial). This is the episode where Milsi finds out about Ayesha's marriage to Neev. The man is so furious that he slaps her and pulls her hair. He vows to take revenge and make her life miserable. And we know where his revenge plan got him - to his Prachi. (You may note that even in his worst behaviour with Prachs he has not slapped her. He had shaken her up and litertally jostled her around but never slapped her. But he had slapped Ayesha.)

This very same man has softened so much after he allowed himself to be loved by Prachs. In the independence day party when Ayesha threw the drinks on his shirt because Prachs had bought it, he did not react to her. By then he had let go of Ayesha and was moving towards Prachs (before the reunion party and Neev's declaration of love came and spoilt things for him). During the dandiya dance too when Ayesha slapped him he did not retaliate. The only difference between the time he slapped her and the other two incidents was his love for Prachs and hers for him. In fact he even offered Ayesha his friendship and care. He vowed to fight against anyone who harmed her. This man is surely at peace with himself and truly truly in love with his wife that he cannot be angry with anybody. That is the power of love.

Agree with u Opti, its amazing what the power of love can do and they also say that Marriage is an eye-opener too.

Yes Ryka, agree with you. It was his insecurities which made him jealous and possessive of Prachi. The independence day party was significant because it was the first time he felt his growing attachment towards Prachi. The pride with which he introduced her as his wife. His taking cool drinks because he knew Prachi did not want him to drink. His refusal to take off his shirt even after Ayesha threw the drinks at him. As I said earlier, he was willing to overlook her blatant action because he was so filled with love, everything looked perfect for him. He did not care about anything else. (Though at this point I think he did not realise the magnitude of his feelings for Prachi).It was also the first time he acknowledged that Ayesha's betrayal did not have the same effect on him and he wondered now who/what has filled up the void left by her.

In fact the independence day party and the dandiya party are similar more ways than one. In both the cases Ayesha reacted with a lot a jealousy (though in the latter instance it was more violent because she realised that Michi have concretised their relationship in conjugal bliss). In both the cases Milsi (who otherwise has a short fuse) did not react at all. In the dandiya incident the only reaction he showed was to hold her hand against hitting Prachi (defence was for Prachi not himself). In both the incidents while his first concern was for Prachi's well being, he was compassionate towards Ayesha. In the first instance he went into her room and applied the balm on her burns before he went and did the same to Prach (if I may add with more love). In the second instance he had the heart-to-heart talk with Ayesha at the hospital, assuring her of his care for her but also making it equally clear to her that while his blessings are with her, his heart has already been given to his wife.

I am sure jealousy will not rear its ugly head now that he is secure in his relationship with Prachi. Neev can have any amount of heart-to-heart with her. Would'nt bother him one bit. That is if the creatives are as clear minded about his character as we are.
