Most of us in the forum love Milsi to bits. His character has grown from strength to strength. I was watching an old episode of KYMT (truing to catch up since I was a late starter to the serial). This is the episode where Milsi finds out about Ayesha's marriage to Neev. The man is so furious that he slaps her and pulls her hair. He vows to take revenge and make her life miserable. And we know where his revenge plan got him - to his Prachi. (You may note that even in his worst behaviour with Prachs he has not slapped her. He had shaken her up and litertally jostled her around but never slapped her. But he had slapped Ayesha.)

This very same man has softened so much after he allowed himself to be loved by Prachs. In the independence day party when Ayesha threw the drinks on his shirt because Prachs had bought it, he did not react to her. By then he had let go of Ayesha and was moving towards Prachs (before the reunion party and Neev's declaration of love came and spoilt things for him). During the dandiya dance too when Ayesha slapped him he did not retaliate. The only difference between the time he slapped her and the other two incidents was his love for Prachs and hers for him. In fact he even offered Ayesha his friendship and care. He vowed to fight against anyone who harmed her. This man is surely at peace with himself and truly truly in love with his wife that he cannot be angry with anybody. That is the power of love.

Here I go...

I always think that Milind's biggest shock, biggest heart break of his life was that time when he found out Ayesha has married Neev. The guy built a shrine for the girl, had loved her for as long as he could remember. He became rich that fast for Ayesha. Her wishes were his command. Now knowing her betrayed her, slaps and other violence were only certain to happen, him being a hotblooded guy.

The way I see it Milind's treatments to both girls do depend very much on his temper but also depend on the girls.

Milind had known Ayesha all his life, he knew Ayesha was one tough lady (though I rather disagree, Ayesha's as fragile as all girls), and I just got the impression that Milind knew Ayesha wouldn't respect a 'gentle' man. He could go overboard with his hot temper with Ayesha, and knew Ayesha could 'handle' it fine.

While in front of Prachi, this guy was basically awkward and confused as how to treat her. I said he had insecurities issue with Prachi and one of the reasons is because Prachi was a real princess and a true lady. She's a woman nobody could do real violence at. When he treated her harshly he felt he lacked manner and a brute automatically. Never had such problem with Ayesha, I'm rather sure.

A decade ago my best friend(not my sister😃) once said she chose me out of so many people to be her best friend because she saw me being straightforward, moody and sometimes harsh to other people but always treated and spoke to her gently (now I treat everybody equally gently, though, also because I was influenced with my best friend's good manner). Well the thing was, at that time I simply couldn't treat her any other way because she herself was too kind, gentle and soft. Felt like a robber to treat such people any less kinder. So I just think it might be like that with Milind in a way.

So it's true that he's changed. He did change for the better because of Prachi and also because of his love for Prachi. He doesn't find violence, harshness and anger work well anymore. He has learned from the best teacher (Prachi) that kindness, gentleness and love will win any day.
