Aw CB you've done it again written a wonderful part I just loved the fact that the part had so much to it Milind's remorse , his guilt n his desire to see Prachi safe n sound....loved it wen he used his brains n smacked Alaap wish he'd do that in real too.... 👏

Part 7:

Milind held Prachi's hand and kept his head on her bed for several hours. Finally, he heard her let out a gentle whimper and she moved her hand a little. He instantly let go of her hand, and stood up. He did not want her to know that he had been holding her hand...."I am a man after all! I don't want Prachi to know that I have been here the whole time, feeling horrible. She doesn't need to know. She won't even care" he thought to himself.

As Milind stood up, his gaze turned towards Prachi's innocent looking face. Her mouth was a little bit open, and her eyes were slowly opening up as well. She opened her eyes slowly, and blinked a few times. She then tried getting up, and Milind reacted instantly.

He couldn't help himself. He quickly bent down a little and put both of his hands on her shoulders and made her lie back down. "Prachi, don't move!" he stated.

"Milind?" she whispered softly, "Where am I? Is Baba okay?"

He was shocked. The girl had just been through hell, and had been unconscious for several hours. Milind had disgraced her in front of her whole family. Still, one of the first questions she asked was about her father. Why?

"Ummmm.." he stuttered, suddenly at a loss for words, "Baba is okay. Prachi you are in the hospital. Do you remember? You slipped down a cliff...and I..."

Prachi smiled a little, "I think I remember a little bit" she said softly. The truth was the Prachi remembered it all. She remembered falling, and thinking that she was dying. She remembered Milind coming to her rescue, and she remembered Milind trying to save her. Did this mean that he had feelings for her? Or was he just helping another human being out? She had no idea. She decided to stop thinking of her personal problems, because her head started aching immensely. She put her hand on her head, and closed her eyes in pain.

"Prachi! Prachi are you okay?" Milind asked...before she could answer, Milind started yelling loudly. "DOCTOR!!! DOCTOR!"

A female doctor rushed into the room, and Milind yelled, "Something is wrong with my wife's head! Please do something."

The doctor quickly gave Prachi a shot, and wrote something on her prescription pad. She tore a paper off of her pad, and gave it to Milind, "Please get these medications from the pharmacy. They are a little expensive, but...." before she could even finish her sentence, Milind rushed off to get the medicine.

He returned to Prachi's bedside in less than 8 minutes. Prachi had her eyes open, "Wow, Milind. That was record timing." She tried to smile, but her head was still hurting. The female doctor was still in the room, alongside a nurse.

"Mr. Mishra," stated the doctor, "Nurse D'Souza will give the medicines you have brought to Miss Shah. Please come with me to my office."

Milind looked at Prachi, "I will be back soon," he told her, as he handed the nurse the medicines. He followed the doctor out of the room.

Despite the aching headache,a sudden realization hit Prachi. The doctor had called Prachi, Miss Shah not Mrs Mishra. "Oh I am so stupid," she thought to herself, "How can I even think that Milind would love me? I can forget Neev, but he can never forget Ayesha and accept me as his wife. He helped me just as he would have helped anyone else. He wants nothing to do with me." Prachi then realized that Milind's father now knew the truth too. She knew that after she left the hospital, Milind would want nothing to do with her. She felts tears pouring down her cheeks.

The nurse thought Prachi was crying due to the pain from her headache, but little did she know these were different tears. These were tears due to a broken heart, and a disintegrating marriage.

As Milind entered the office of the female doctor, he instantly told her, "Doctor. Her name is Mrs. Mishra...she is my wife. There was some confusion at the front desk, and that is why her file says her maiden name, Miss. Shah. Please get that changed as soon as possible."

The doctor smiled, "Okay Mr. Mishra. I will get that changed. However, I have called you here for a different reason. I need to talk to you about your wife's health."

Panic set into Milind's body. Right away his body language changed. He went from standing up right, to feeling weak in his knees. He quickly sat down in front of the doctor's desk, as she took her seat on the other side of the table. "What is wrong? Is Prachi okay?" he questioned anxiously.

"Mr. Mishra, she is fine for now. But while you were gone, I noticed signs of depression. Her eyes seemed distant and she seemed stressed out. After her accident, she is weak and will need some time to recover. I think it would be best if you took serious care of her for the next few weeks. I don't mean hire a nurse to take care of her. I mean give her attention, pamper her, and make her feel important. I could tell, even though I was only in the room for a few minutes, that she was lonely." stated the doctor.

Milind couldn't help but realize that the doctor was right. She knew what she was talking about. "Okay doctor. I will take care of Prachi. I will take a couple weeks off of work. She is the most important thing for me right now, and I will make sure she is happy" said Milind. He was himself surprised at how quickly he agreed with the doctor. He couldn't help himself from saying what he had said....it had all just automatically come out of his mouth.

The doctor smiled and stood up, and so did Milind. "Very well, Mr. Mishra," she stated, "Thank you for being so understanding. My name is Dr. Sharma by the way, Dr. Anjum Sharma."

"Thanks Dr. Sharma for your great advice. Now if you will excuse me, I have to get back to my wife." said Milind. The doctor smiled again, as Milind left the room. She could tell that he really cared for his wife.

Once again "mind blowing work" I couldn't stop reading it over and over because of Milind being so caring for his wife. Only wish that Milind express his inner feelings for Prachi in the real show instead of listening to that Ayesha.

Love to see Milind in such a caring mode. But when they realise each others feelings 😕 😕 ? Milind does not want Prachi to see him caring & Prachi thinks Milind does not love her and is going to leave her. Duffers...

I liked the line "Something is wrong with my wife's head! Please do something." --- Milind was tensed but it cracked me up 😆 😆 😆 ... yes dear.. something is absolutely wrong with ur wife's head. She imagines too much.
