As they left the hospital, Prachi waved goodbye to all of the nurses and staff who had made her stay so pleasant. Milind just smiled at he gazed at Prachi, still holding her hand.

As they exited the hospital, the lovely couple made their way towards the car. For the first time ever, Milind opened the car door for Prachi. She smiled at him, and got in the car. Milind then made his way to the driver's seat and started the 3 hour drive home.

There was no music on, and both just sat in complete silence in the car for about 30 minutes. Prachi then noticed that Milind kept taking secret glances at her every 2 minutes or so.

"Milind? Is anything wrong?" she asked.

Caught off gaurd, Milind responded, "Huh? What do you mean?"

"You keep looking at me!" Prachi laughed.

"NO I don't!" Milind argued.

"Okay baba! Fine...but the next time I see you looking at me..." she threatened playfully.

"What are you going to do? Kya karley gee tu? I can look at you whenever I want, you are my wife after all!" he responded confidently.

Again, it was awkward. Milind had for the second time today acknowledged Prachi as his wife. Prachi did not want to dwell on this thought, so she continued playing along with Milind.

"So, then, you admit that you were looking at me?" she laughed.

"No I wasn't! I was looking outside your window....there's a beautiful view," retorted Milind.

"A view? Oh come on Milind...aap bi na! It's pitch dark outside...what can you possibly be viewing?" Prachi stated smugly.

"Acha baba! Choree pakree gayee. You caught me! I was staring at you! Happy?" Milind concluded.

Prachi laughed, "Okay okay. But pay attention to the road!"

"Then stop distracting me!"

"Milind? How am I distracting you? I haven't said a word!" responded Prachi.

Milind gazed at her with affection in his eyes, "When the moon comes down to earth, men are bound to get distracted." Wow! He can't believe that he had just said that! Milind realized that he and Prachi were flirting!

Milind's words struck a chord in Prachi's heart. Shying away, she turned away from him and gazed outside her window.

Milind laughed, "I guess you are checking out the wonderful view now too."

Prachi couldn't muster up the courage to say anything. "Oh my God!" Prachi silently thought, "We're flirting! I am so bad at this!"

Prachi tried to distract herself by putting some music on, put at the same time that she reached for the radio with her right hand, Milind's left hand reached for it as well. They lunged towards the radio, and their hands met.

Milind made the first move. He intertwined his fingers with hers. Prachi felts butterflies in her stomach. She held onto his hand too. Holding his hand, Prachi felt secure, safe, and protected. Holding onto her hand, Milind felts like the whole world was in the palm of his hand.

For the remainder of the trip, they sat peacefully and held hands in silence, while listening to the beautiful romantics songs which were playing on the radio. Neither of them said a word. They both secretly hoped that this moment would never end. This moment was perfect.

@CB: Really enjoyed reading the last two parts to the max, I really like the fact that despite Prachi and Mills still having their misunderstandings, they are able to look at their present and enjoy each other's company...and this Miland is not as big karva kerala as the one in the serial (Jk)😆😳 I really enjoyed reading the last part with the long drive..very sweet and playful flirting btw Michi😳 kaash aisa scene Kayamath mein dekh no ko mile between Miland and Prachi😳, if there are lurkers in the Kayamath forum, I hope they take a dekho at your FF.
