neev is with the lawyer and wonders why mallika didnt testify and why prachi is hiding the reason. they both discuss the case and the lawyer says that milsi said he had a mocktail before he was knocked out. the lawyer says that a mocktail has no alcohol so its impossible for someone to lose their senses, neev says that that means his drink was spiked. neev and the lawyer discuss this matter and they come to the conclusion that mallika could be the killer.
neev is at home and sees prachi, he stops her to talk to her but before he can ask any questions she reassures him that milsi will be out by tomorrow and she walks off to meet milsi.
prachi has 15mins to meet milsi, she enters the cell and sits by milsi. she opens the tiffin and offers him dhokla's but he refuses to eat, she asks him to eat them for her sake as she has made them without salt, just the way he likes them. a flashback of the baingan ka bharta scene is shown. he asks her if she has eaten, she gets teary and nods no. he says he will eat after she does. he takes the dhokla from her and feeds her, she takes it off him, kisses it and feeds him. the sad kayamath song is playing as they continue to feed one another. milsi wipes away her tears and she wipes his tears.
she asks him how much he loves her, he replies he loves her the most, she asks him if he trusts her and he replies her trusts her more than anyone. she asks him for a promise, she asks him not to stop her from doing what she has planned to do tomorrow. milsi gets worried and questions what she plans to do. she reassures him that whatever she has planned is good for the family and it will get him released. milsi is not sure but prachi makes him promise her that he will let her do what she has planned. he puts his hand on hers and reluctantly makes the promise.
mallika is sure prachi cant save milsi without her help and she wonders why prachi hasn't phoned for her help yet. prachi and the elders are praying for milsi. maliika phones shah mansion and the servant picks up the phone but puts it on the table when the fruit falls. mallika hears prachi say that she will make sure milsi comes home and it is a wifes promise. the servant answers the phone and mallika asks for prachi, she is told that prachi is busy praying and he puts the phone down.
outside the court, prachi goes to her lawyer and tells him that she will take the blame for the murder and she wants him to accuse her in court.the lawyer says he cant do that and she says that if need be she herself will say this in court.
prachi and the lawyer enter the court . mallika is sitting down and prachi goes to her and says she is glad she is here as she wants her to see milsi being released. milind is brought to the stand and his lawyer announces that he has a witness who will prove that milsi is not the murderer. mallika looks worried. the opposing lawyer rubbishes his claim.milsi's lawyer reveals that the murderer is sitting in this very room, mallika is tense. milsi's lawyer goes to where prachi is sitting and accuses her of being the murderer. milsi and the family are shocked. PL and the dadi defend prachi and milsi is flaring up at the lawyer for blaming prachi. prachi gets up and confesses to the crime. she is told to come to the stand and say what she wants.
prachi says milsi is innocent and she is the one who murdered ayesha. the judge asks her why it took her so long to confess, she replies that she thought milsi would be acquitted from the false allegation. she blurts out that she killed ayesha and milind is denying her claim. he asks her why she is doing all this and he remembers the scene in the cell where she made him promise that he wont question her actions the next day. he tells the judge that she is taking the blame because she loves him. prachi says that she hated ayesha as much as she loved him and couldn't bear her taking milsi away from her again. he pleads with prachi not to lie. he walks up to her and asks her why she is taking the blame, the police are restraining him. the judge asks for order, milsi asks her again why she is doing this and she says because she doesn't want her sindoor to vanish. milsi is dragged back to the stand. michi stare at one another and the sad kayamath song is playing. the judge says its time for a break and mallika thinks that she thought no one could get more insane than her but prachi has proved her wrong.
