AT KASTURIS HOUSE ON THE DRIVEWAY

Kasturi: yeh tum kya kai rahi ho navneet...woh aisa mera saath nahin...*tears roll down her face as she tries to hide her schock at the whole situation*

Navneet: haan di...yeh saab mujhe bi nahin teek laga, likyan aap se main itni bari bath nahin chupa sak thi, thi

Kasturi: haan navneet...yeh saab meri gaalti hai...maina hi aapne aap ko uska itna kareeb jaana thiya...aur chot bi kafi gairi lagi

Navneet: sorry di *puts her hand on kasturis shoulder*

Kasturi: *tears rolling down her face* aab aandar saab hamara wait kar rahan ho gay...chalein

*Nav and Kas walk into the house and the whole family is ready to go to bed, kasturi doesnt talk to neone but rushed upsatirs and throws herself on top of her bed and cries like a baby (MAJOR sob fest)...just then Kaushalya walks in*

Kaushalya: katuri putthar...

Kasturi: *sits up on her bed and quickly wipes her tears and turns around* hanji maa

Kaushalya: beta…tum ro rahi thi??

Kasturi: nahin maa, woh bus vaisa hi…

Kaushalya: dekh putthar main tumari maa hun, maina tuj ko janam diya…kya chupa rahi hai tu mujhse…mujhe malum hai ka kuch tho hai

Kasturi: maa, kuch nahin…main bus…*all of a sudden begins to cry a lot again*

*Kaushalya walks up to her and puts her arms around kasturi who who cries like a baby in her mother's arms*

Kaushalya: kya hai putthar…chal teek hai tum mujhe math bathao…bus ro la putthar…

JP: KAUSHALYA!

Kaushalya: AAAYI LALAJI! Kasturi putthar jo bi hai jiski vaja sa tum itna ro rahi ho agar tume kisi bi time par meri zaroorat para tho mera pas aay jaana

*Kaushalya lets go of kasturi and kisses her on the head*

Kasturi: maa…*kasuhalya turns around* maa please aap kisi ko math bathana ka ma-

Kaushalya: beta nahin kathi likyan agar tume aab mujhe bathana ka maan nahin kar raha tho main nahin tume pooch thi ka vaja kya hai…likyan jo bi hai putthar yaad karna ka Bhagwan saab teek kar la ga…meri itni achi beti ka saath woh bura nahin kar saktha

Kasturi: *just nods*

*Kaushalya leaves, kasturi plops back on her bed and closes her eyes and starts to remember everything and wonder how she didn't see that it wasn't raunak but robbie, she remembers the same taste in music, the time he ate the gajar ka halwa, the time at the mandir he was about to tell her something, the time she saved his life and he told her he wasn't a good person, the time they laughed together in the room, the time he put her hair behind her ears for her…with that she turns around and looks out the window*

Kasturi: kyun robbie kyun? Kya bigara tha maina tujkhe kai tum mujhe itni bara saaza tha gaya…aap na mera saath itna bara jhoot kyun bola…kyun kaisa insaan haan aap?

IN THE CAR WHILE RAUNAK DRIVES

Raunak: *lost in thought about kasturi, he remembers the cricket match teaching her to bat, carrying her to the house, the time she said she wanted to tell him something on the bed, and the time she wanted to tell him something before they left, he smiles and ruffles his hair* yeh tum mera saamna kyun aayi ja rahi ho kasturi…kyun??? Kyun tumara chehra mera samna aa jatha hai…yeh kaisa ehsaas hai *he remembers kasturi saying bye to him and all of a sudden feels sad*

IN ROBBIES CAR

*Robbie is too lost in thought and shares basically the same memories as kasturi…and he wishes he would of told her the truth and he feels utterly sad and lost*

NEXT MORNING IN ROBBIES ROOM

*Robbie wakes up the next morning and just lies in bed lost in his own thoughts and wonders about kasturi, once again that smiling face of hers popping into his thoughts again and again…just then Purushotam walks in*

Purushotam: robbie, agar sauna nahin hai tho koi kam kar ro, mera saath office chal aaj

Robbie: nahin dad maan nahin kar raha

Purushotam: acha? Mujhe malum hai ka tumara office jaana se kabhi maan nahin kartha likyan main kaal rath sa dekh raha hun ka kuch hai jo tumse sathaiyee (torturing) ja raha ha

Robbie: dad kuch nahin hai…

Purushotam: fine…fine…main kuch nahin katha…chal main chala

Robbie: dad taro!

*Puru turns around*

Robbie: dad main tumse kuch sawal karun?

Purushotam: zaroor, kya hai?

Robbie: dad jaab kaafi chir sa kisi sa hum jhoot bol tha hain…but not with the intention to hurt them…then dad…hum usa kaisa bathana sach without hurting them?

Purushotam: robbie, aab who insaan kaisa react kara ga…tho woh tho uski personality pa depend hotha hai…main sirf yeh ka saktha hun ka…tum puri khoshish karna unsa samjaana ka, that you didn't really want to hurt them

Robbie: thanks dad

Purushotam: jo bi bath hai robbie, agar tume kabhi mujhe discuss karni ho tho…im here

Robbie: yea dad

*Puru leaves and just then raunak walks in all happy and ready to go to work*

Raunak: hey man

Robbie: kaisa hai raunak

Raunak: first class

Robbie: acha? Tum itna kush kaisa

Raunak: kya…main tho hamesha aisi hi hun

Robbie: acha?

Raunak: yeh man

Robbie: well anyways man, dad aabi aabi ga hain…tumne tho uska saath jaana ho ga

Raunak: oh yea man…ill see you soon

*Raunak leaves and robbie lies down on his bed again and takes the covers and pulls them over himself*

BACK AT KASTURIS AS SHE GOES TO THE MANDIR

Kasturi: *walks into the mandir and rings the bell and begins to pray* Hai bhagwan, yeh apne mera saath kya kiya? Kyun mera saath itna bara thoka hona diya apne…

*Navneet walks up behind and taps her, kas turns around*

Navneet: how are you di? Kaal rath jo hua…

Kasturi: maina bohoth socha aur maina faisla kar liya hai

Navneet: woh kya?

Kasturi: ka main phir se woh robbie ka saath bath nahin karun gi…aab mujhe usa bhool jaana chahiya

*A sad look appears on kasturi's face and a tear drops and she wipes it away and her expression changes to one almost angry*

BACK AT ROBBIES
*Robbie cant stop thinking about kasturi and it has been 2 weeks since they came from kasturi's house, he tries to send her emails but she never replies and now he has just given up. Everywhere her face appears, he doesn't take an interest in other girls and when he goes out with them the memory of kasturi's happy face always haunts him, one night he comes home drunk and plops himself on the sofa and Puru comes downstairs*

Puru: robbie yeh tumne itni sharab pi rakhi hai?? Kyun??

Robbie: dad! Eh dadddddddd! Kya haal hai apka??

Puru: robbie, chal apna kamara main aram karo

Robbie: it doesn't matter dad…it doesn't matter!

Puru: kya? What are u saying robbie??

Robbie: dad *tears rolling down his eyes he runs to his dad who hugs him* dad koi difference nahin baan tha

Puru: robbie kya hua? Is haalat main tum kyun ho??

Robbie: *looks up from crying and falls on the stairs* dad…main yahein jahun…wahein jahun…woh mera saamna hamesha hothi hai…it doesn't matter dad *cries more*

Puru: kaun???

Robbie: wohi KASTURI! Main ek larkhi ka saath hotha hun…woh mera saamna aathi hai…SHE MAKES ME FEEL SO GUILTY!!

Puru: robbie yeh tum…

Robbie: DAD! KYUN!!!! KYUN! MAIN USA KYUN NAHIN BHOOL SAKTHA! KYUN MAIN USKA HAMESHA KAREEB HONA CHATHA HUN! KYUN KYUN!

Puru: yeh tum mujhe kya pooch raha ho…apne aap sa poocho robbie

Robbie: kaafi bar poocha dad…aur hamesha wohi jawab aatha hai…dad mujhe us ehsaas sa itna dar kyun lag tha hai

Puru: kya ehsaas? Aur woh jawab kya katha hai?

Robbie: dad! *cries again*

*Puru comes and puts his arms around him*

Robbie: MAINA USA ITNA BARA JHOOT BOLA DAD! WOH MUJHE KABHI MAAF NAHIN KARA GI!

Puru: but robbie the guy who moves from girl to girl…tho is larkhi ki maafi tumara liye kon si baari bath hai??

Robbie: DAD! HAIN MERA LIYE BARI BATH HAI…WHO MERA LIYE BAARI BATH HAI!
Puru: kyun????

Robbie: *stops and gets up and then throw his arms in the air* BECAUSE I LOVE HER DAD! I LOVE HER!

*End on Purushotam's shocked face*
