I agree with both of you. Mohini Basu , as insufferable as she is , is still a very much strong and firey woman.

I can't write about Anurag , though I've seen all the episodes. No matter what I write, it'll instantly be invalidated as a post by a "hater" . 😆 Likely , the thread will get locked sooner than later .

I agree that Prerna is a very weakly "written" character. And that has been a grouse of pretty much everyone from the time of inception of the show itself. Both Anupre fans and Eri fans themselves acknowledge it and has always lamented about it time and again.

To be honest, she may appear weak if you consider her giving into deals and when put under pressure to be responsible to handle somethings like saving her home during Naveen's deal and how easily she believed Anu's love for her was fake during Komo track and now when she made it so easy for Bajaj to play her to his complete advantage with regards to how he manipulated her to marry him and how she gave in to it.

BUT her STRENGTH is in being able to put the needs and wellbeing of the people she cares about, (be it her own family or Anurag and now kuki), BEFORE her own happiness. I know in todays time altruism is looked down upon. In todays time its always about me, myself and I, first and foremost before others comes into the picture.

I like good characters....weak he sahi, I like to root for being a good and simple human being above everything else. Career, smartness, being suave, looking beautiful, money, riches, and so called self respect all fades in comparison to me. If I see such a character being pitted against others, my vote inadvertently goes to that person. I find both Anurage and Prenra good human beings. They may make mistakes and hurt others in impulsiveness and under immense pressure without any intention to cause harm, but they would not do harm to others knowingly.

NOW, currently CVs are even playing with her this very basic trait by mixing it up with attitude and harsh behavior in how she is dealing with Anurag currently. In the way she is shown to not show any pain or guilt except for very recently with regards to Anurage AND her own family...and accepting Bajaj after what she gave up to save a very loved one before he is redeemed of it also does not mix in with this character trait.

But still in totality she has immense goodness and selflessness which is actually a very STRONG character trait in my book at least.

And with regards to how Bajaj could fall for her....I can clearly see how ANYONE could be drawn to good and caring people like her.

Yes my thought exactly. Strong man only likes strong women. This season Prerna is sooo weak. Also Erica's dialogue delivery. I dont know what is the reason but Prerna is definitely weak.

Anurag liking prerna is ok if u see now both r weak. Both cannot save the day at this moment. Look at Veena situation. Atleast anurag tried but what did prerna do?nothing. I dont know how bajaj can fall for prerna. It should be other way around.

Prerna, actually she is weak. When we talk about modern girl in society, they are stubborn, arrogant and very strong. Do they care? No... They don't care about loyalty, dignity or anything. Specially the situation is like the way of Bajaj's forced marriage. Even though she is the wife of Bajaj, she could not be able to forgive him who snatched her happiness. But in story line, now she has already started some soft corner for Bajaj. Why? This is not the way she should behave. She should teach a good lesson to Bajaj who destroy others lives for his selfishness.

Prerna should support and direct Anurag to develop his business as same as earlier what she did with Vikranth to hurt Anurag. Then Anurag can become a good businessman, rich person more than Bajaj. Anurag does not need loyalty. But he just want to be with prerna, share the moments, share his grievances and happiness with her, need her words of encouragement, but not the move with another girl. Prerna can develop close relationship with Anurag.

Prerna's problem is a lack of communication and take decision alone. If she shared the issue of Navin's Babu with her family, they will help her to find the good solution. She did not even share some facts with her sister Shivani. Even though they are closed friend.

In case of Bajaj's proposal, she should discuss that issue with Anurag's family (Specially Nivi and Anupam), They will come up with a good solution. If they teamed up they could defeat the any hard time in life. The problem with prerna character is she does not have self-confidence as a young and an educated girl.

In the case pregnancy, I am sure, Anurag will recall their past moments and he will definitely find who was the father of prerna's child.

This post echoes the popular sentiment and describes the character with sheer perfection. Right now Prerna 2.0 has no redeeming quality to make one consider NOT disliking her. She single-handedly ruins PreRish for majority of us. If RB's influence compels her to take two steps forward, she does something ridiculous in the very next episode and all the progress comes undone. Worse, she never uses her own brain and rarely applies logic.

Thank you for making this post. Even I think her this way. She is the weakest person in this whole serial. She is like floating leaf. More like a dhol. 😆 Whoever wants come and beat her........bali ka patha. 😆 Very pathetic woman character.

This is the most perfect narrative of S2 Prerna. I used to laugh my @$$ off when a certain section of people in SM would call those AnuKom period Prerna as sassy Prerna. That was utter BS and regressive crap. Just because her actions aligned with what people want as well, she used to be hailed as queen. That time itself kzk1.0 fans should have highlighted this to CVs to work on her characterization.

And now after 1 yr, it's almost established that she is a mellow, pushover. And it's not a big deal if she moves on with Bajaj, because looking at the current situation, this is the easiest option. Luckily she's got a husband who is easy to grow a friendship and relationship with, that way she doesn't have to struggle further, it will just work out. This reminds me of a quote/writing I read somewhere which translates into something like - work on your vices today even if it's is giving you fruits now, the day is not far when it will definitely take you down, because by the virtue of the vices, they are meant to do only that.

I cannot even begin to compare S1 Prerna with this one. I said it here long back that I dont want Bajaj to go through those painful path for redemption or anything for this Prerna if she doesnt improve😆. S1 Prerna was substantial and took responsibility of her own actions. AP did not need to justify their pre marital sex (which is anyways normal) with the promise or even talks of getting married, Prerna didnt need to clarify or falter from her stand in entire PRB first marriage that why she was in that marriage. You could see how clearly she would let everyone know how for her, the entire world was at one side, and her relation with Anurag was at one side, and AP never had to indulge in extra marital affair talks to establish that. The vulnerability of Prerna around only Anurag was worth watching for, despite that, she didn't ever cross the limits of her marriage. It was nice. S2, mehh.

Developing a soft corner for bajaj already..that's what is irksome. With this character portrayal, I doubt she would have accepted naveen babu also as her husband and become his ..whatever number 2 (i don't recall what he used to call his wife) ..the problem was not in accepting deals but in her behaviour towards him and this marriage . A 20 something college girl agreeing to marry a man double her age and not giving any reaction Or try to null it? In majboori any girl agrees for her family's financial condition but They are seen struggling to come out and here she had plenty of chances because anurag kept on telling her that the man is bad ,being his relative/friend whatever ...the same happened during komo, she hardly used her brains (I think just once when she ruined their honeymoon) , She took anurags words on face value but i heard her saying "komo aisa kyun karegi" ..that was the day😆 she is the same person with bajaj..no progress..like she can jump in the fire to save her loved ones but not call a fire brigade..that's her..
