Strong Prerna ?? [DT Note : Page 5] - Page 4

You have exactly penned my thoughts on this. No comparison with Season 1 but Season 2 Prerna's character is horribly defined. She lacks the characterisation , she doesnt even know how to react in the situations. Marriage is not the end solution . She could have gone far away made her career and should have taken care of her child instead of this faiso.

I don't think that I have much to say because you have said it all. I couldn't dislike her in the first sacrifice that she made - choosing to marry Navin to save her house. The woman has this insane love for her family that she did not mind ruining her whole life for them. I get her emotions but does that mean that I think she was being intelligent? Or strong? Nope. While I would admit that she was courageous enough to take the step but it was courage and not strength. I would have pointed out the strength had she not given in the marriage, and had taken her family's responsibility, found a job and got them a even bigger home. (Now please don't tell me that the house had memories and stuff - memories are made with people. If you have your family together, you can make memories anywhere.)

The worst was the time when she walking in BB after he got married to Komolika. I mean, what? Woman, he MARRIED somebody else irrespective of whatever his reasons were and you are reaching his place, claiming that you are his wife KNOWING that he married Komolika with all those rituals and stuff. It was shameful for me to see that she was fighting for the man who had just ditched her and married someone else. For heaven's sake - it had been not even a month since her father's demise. The woman had her family to look after and what did she do? Went to her boyfriend who had a wife then with proof of some dhaga marriage. Who calls this independence? I could call her independent had she kept her PERSONAL MESSED AND FINISHED LOVE STORY aside and focussed on helping her family cope up with her father's loss and gave her family a better life.

Prerna was always loving, caring, sensitive and empathetic.

But strong and independent? For me, never.

Developing a soft corner for bajaj already..that's what is irksome. With this character portrayal, I doubt she would have accepted naveen babu also as her husband and become his ..whatever number 2 (i don't recall what he used to call his wife) ..the problem was not in accepting deals but in her behaviour towards him and this marriage . In majboori any girl agrees for her family's financial condition but They are seen struggling to come out and here she had plenty of chances because anurag kept on telling her that the man is bad ,being his relative/friend whatever ...the same happened during komo, she hardly used her brains (I think just once when she ruined their honeymoon) , She took anurags words on face value but i heard her saying "komo aisa kyun karegi" ..that was the day😆 she is the same person with bajaj..no progress..like she can jump in the fire to save her loved ones but not call a fire brigade..that's her..

@bold. Exactly. She would accept Naveen babu too and after that id she was sold to another guy or more may be she would accept all those. Her head is always bent under foot of men. She has no courage to stand up like Komo. I don't know why she is the heroin? To me Komo deserves the position of heroin. She is intelligent, strong and knows what she is doing. Prerna is nothing comparing to Komo. Whenever she is in trouble find a man and act like a victim. Father in financial trouble marry Naveen babu. I mean what? 😲 Find a job, start a business and be rich if you want to support your family. Who finds marriage an option this days? Only the worthless woman.

Mohini insults her and her mother . Even slapped her. No wonder why Anu had the courage to slap her. She gave that power to him. Joothi jaisi attitude karegi toh laath hi milegi. Thank God he didn't kick her. She made her position so low that any guy would dare to do that. Sp when Mohini utters that you are poor. She should reply " We are poor because you don't pay my father enough salary" or demand more salary from that stupid woman. Why bent her head under her foot everytime? Her mother is another pathetic woman , although better than her.

And now Bajaj. How dare he places a demand to marry her ? Any today's girl would teach him a strong lesson even if she had to marry him. Steal his precious document and takeover his business, kick him out.........with ANu or without ANu. This guy dared to use her as a tool. Isn't that insulting? Anu slapped her. Why didn't she kick him? No today's girl would spare him if he did that. Love apni jaga par self respect apni jaga per.

I wish we could have a Mugambo type Prerna. Take both of her lover's ( Anu and Bajaj) business and make Mohini her servant. And say "Mugambo khush hua".

KUDOS to your analysis. I have no idea how are can a strong mature self made millionaire like Rishab Bajaj is falling for this weak character.
