S1 Prerna .. now that was an inspiration for that generation. A woman very well ahead of her times. She was fire , as you said and every life's misery only made her strong and stronger and she always needed no one . She was the fairy tale where the princess saved the day and saved herself, without waiting for any knight in the shining armor. Who wouldn't fall in love with such a woman ??

According to bajaj this pres loyal, caring, stubborn and strong like steel😆, i would add resilient to the list. My conclusion is that bajajs been deprived of care and love for so long, that even the slightest care towards him, has thawed his heart towards her and ofcourse kookie being another reason. But yeah, its still unconvincing, bajaj turned out to be a rather simple man with simple needs.

I know anurag is disliked much currently but this same question i asked my friends a lot of times when kzk started. I didn't watch it, my friends used to, but i found it hilarious, Why would he love prerna , how could he lol..and at that time i didnt know who parth was..so kzk was not on my radar nor the love story attracted me a bit . But still I used to watch it in tit bits during naveens time and I always pondered upon this question. They haven't made her like that I guess..I have seen all Ekta leads very dumb but fierce , having a mind of their own , able to solve the world problems , but not their own..each had their own quality but i see none in prerna..sorry prerna fans. If there is one role she can play to perfection ,it's kuki's mamma..may be ..for being a mom also a lady needs to be strong , active , protective and on her toes all the time. She is unable to judge simple facts in front of her, forever confused. What did masi tanvi do to earn her trust ? Bajaj I still understand she got attracted to his persona

Mohini has hundreds of negatives but i love her attitude . She is like a lioness, fiercely protective of her family ..only if she could change her class and status mentality..

If this Prerna signifies strength I seriously wonder what weakness means.

This post echoes the popular sentiment and describes the character with sheer perfection. Right now Prerna 2.0 has no redeeming quality to make one consider NOT disliking her. She single-handedly ruins PreRish for majority of us. If RB's influence compels her to take two steps forward, she does something ridiculous in the very next episode and all the progress comes undone. Worse, she never uses her own brain and rarely applies logic.

Save people from such a toxic love!

I'm still banging my head every two minutes and cringing at the thought of PreRish. She runs, hides and buries her head in sand. In none of her tracks has she done anything fruitful or achieved anything. She cannot communicate, she mewls and sniffs and tears drop from her so fast. She is deeply ashamed about the child out of wedlock, she doesnt have the cojones to fight the world. Her solution to everything is marriage. I need to save my family, Marry naveen. I need to give my child his father's name, Dhaaga Marriage and break another woman's marriage. Ex needs to get out of Jail, Let me marry Bajaj. Get an education, get a job, get successful! Fight, have some fire!

How is this ruthless, Cunning and sophisticated businessman putting up with all this - I just don't get it. Now Bajaj will do fighting with Ex for Wife and He's falling for her. What can she give him apart from heartburn and heartache? What is wrong with Bajaj? Why Why Why?

She can't even get rid of her Ex properly, she's just leading him on... How can you cry, give puppy eyes, make roti in the middle of the night for an Ex. She makes herself out to be a gold-digger for the izzat of her EX.

this character is so so so badly written, it physically hurts to watch. Only Bajaj is holding me to the screen.

Any character whose purpose of existence in the show is basically just to romance the males of the show , is not worth his/ her damn screen space / time and here unfortunately we're talking about the so-called FL of this show.

I've grown up watching EK shows , even now whenever EK launches a new show I always check it out to see what's on the menu card , purely out of habit . I've seen some of the strongest and most fierce FLs in EK shows only . Even within it's disturbingly prototypical portrayal of FLs , ITV did deliver some of the most rootable fierce FLs and in the least the women have been portrayed as strong during some of the tracks , where they infact discarded the easy fix and fought a war . Some times with some help, some times alone. A human being does not need to be strong all the time , I may concede . BUT shouldn't be lame and weak every single time in every track! That can not allowed.

I've seen lionesses here in ITV . So many of them. I can name some of them from the top of my mind. Some characters started weak and became strong and fearless as life did it's honing on them.

Prerna makes me grit my teeth every single time , with her weakness and her lack of doing any thing . Out of desperation , I some times rooted for MoNiv , when they were being strong , but never for Prerna. That'll tell you something.

Nothing new. She believed naveen over anurag and later on , She believed komolika over anurag. I have stopped caring about who she trusts now because she flips anytime.

Just think about it. Leave anurag and bajaj. Why would any girl be OKAY with marrying "naveen"? how could she ? She agreed in majboori but she wasnt shown upset or cared to think of any other angle while anurag kept on pushing her to see it ..but she refused right till the end. That's the reason why I could never relate to her and anurag falling for such a girl and their subsequent love story..

I was watching Discovery HD few days back . A tiny bird was relentlessly striking against the bark of a tree , where in a hole, there was a big poisonous snake who was also hissing and trying to bite the tiny bird. Again and again she went at it till the snake braced defeat and left it's rest and went away . I was amazed at the sheer courage of such a tiny creature. Any man would just turn and run away in it's place.

Then they showed with zoom camera , actually the bird had laid eggs in that hole. It was just a mother protecting her children. I was in tears.

This is motherhood . It's a completely different species. It makes women strong like Goddess Durga.

Prerna even failed to look after Kuki properly or else Kuki wouldn't get trapped by ShaTan. If you've a kid in your charge ,especially a differently abled one like Kuki , before going for some thing else , you should at least hand over it's responsibility to a particular servant so that later you can at least hold that person accountable. But no, she was "distracted. " If she can not do it properly , why do it at all ?? Also, even after Kuki confided in her that there's some thing fishy about her getting trapped , she did nothing . No investigation , not even informing the child's father who has entrusted you with his lifeline. RB would've instantly understood there's some ghar ka vedi after his beti.

So , nope I don't see any hope there either.

As for being mother to her own child , *facepalm * Poor child is stuck with world's most uncaring and unconcerned mother. As a doctor, I get palpitation at the complete lack of any prenatal care . Even in the interior , pregnant women come for check ups , get the blood works and USGs done and at least get two doses of TT and IFA pills. This much is basic. I think Prerna is from Mars.

Please write your analysis on other main characters too.
