Bani just gave a small smile and followed Anu to her room saying 'Jai aap kapre badal ke fresh ho jana….dinner taiyar hote hi mein aap ko bata dungi' …

Jai just nodded his head in agreement and went towards the bathroom while Anu took Bani in her room….

In Anu's room:

Anu: I'm sorry for disturbing you… but I really need to speak to you… and it's really important…

Bani: kya baat hai Anu itni pareshan kyun ho … kya baat hai…

Anu: mein woh… Bani mami … woh pregnant…

Bani: Anu!!! Kya keh rein ho… tum pregnant ho!!!

Anu: Mami aap bhi na…. main pregnant kaise ho sakti hoon…

Bani: you're not pregnant!!! Anu you're driving me nuts… here I'm getting worried and ur talking in riddles… saaf saaf batao baat kya hai….

Anu: mami woh … there is this guy… he's my classmate… and he gave me this note… saying if I would like to go out with him… and he's name is Moksh…

Bani: note!!! … aare pagli…use note nahin…shayad love letter kehte hai…

Anu: oh … ok … love letter…

Bani: kaisa ladka hai yeh Moksh… hhmm…

Anu: me and Rano know him for a year now… and he always gets his notes from me… main hamesha uski help karti hoon…and you know Mami he's very good our economic class… brilliant student… and he's hand writing is really good as well… main dikahu aap ko…

Bani was a bit amused…as Anu's description of Moksh… 'Anu rehne do…I'm sure he's must be a good writer…'

Bani thinking I wanted to know about Moksh's personality… and here Anu's giving her description of his hand writing… then she thought he must be a good guy… otherwise Rano wouldn't have let Anu go near any Tom, Dick or Harry…

'Anu kya Rano ko Moksh ke bare mein pata hai' ….

'haan pata hai… uesine hi tu yeh note…sorry… love letter diya hai…aur mujhe tu aisa lag raha hai key eh love letter Moksh ne rano se likhai hoga… kyun ki ish note ki hand writing Moksh ki handwriting se nahin milta…magar rano ke hand writing se match hoti hai'….

Bani: Anu agar tumein woh ladka accha lagta hai tu tum uske saath bahar ja sakti… aakhir tumein bhi tu apni jeevan saathi chunne ka haq hai…

Anu: lekin mami ek problem hai…

'kaisie problem Anu'

Anu: woh mami mein pregnanat nahin hona chahthi… she said a hesitantly…

'Anu yeh kasie bachpana hai… date par jane se koi pregnanat thori hoti hai' …

Anu: accha… are you sure…

Bani: Anu tumein yeh sab kuch kisne kaha ke date par jane se ladkiya pregnant ho jati hai…

Anu: woh rano bata rein thi ki… ladke ladkiyon ko hotel ke kamre mein le jate hai… aur phir uene pregnant kar dete hai…

Bani: Kya!!! Rano ne aisa kaha!!!

Anu: haan mami… isi liey maine socha ki mein aap se baat kar lo…

Bani: dekho Anu… tum Rano ki baton par dihan mat do… woh tumein confuse karne ke liey aise batein karti rehti hai… don't listen to her … Bani very well knew Rano must have said something else and Anu understood something else hence drawing a wrong conclusion….

Anu: tu mein kya karoon… Moksh ko mana kar doon… kyun ki mujhe pregnant nahin banna… kitni lakleef hoti hai pregnancy mein… maine book mein para hai… aap janti hai mami Moksh ne mujhe candle light dinner pe invite kiya hai… hai Ram… dekha … usne tu sari planning bhi kar liya hai… mujhe uske saath nahin jana…

Bani: Anu aisa nahin hota hai… I mean… agar tumein raat mein jana dar lagta hai … tu tum uske saath luch pe ja sakti ho… kyun…

Anu: you mean candle light lunch! … par mami… lunch time par candle kyun jalayenge log…. I mean din mein candle kit u koi zaroorat nahin hai na….

Bani's patience was running thin… but she had to manage Anu in her own way.,.. as Anu needs to grow up… and understand how things work out… par Anu's questions are worser than anything she has ever come across in her life…

Anu: mami batayen na… aap chup kyun ho gayen…

Bani: woh Anu tum lunch par Moksh ke saath chali jana… aur mujhe uska number de dena… aur agar tumein koi takleef huyen tu mujhe phone kar dena … thik hai…

Anu: ok … par Bani mami…

Bani was going to faint … if Anu ask a single question… 'Anu beta… tumhari mami ko bahut bhuk lagi hai… hum khana khane chale… tum ek kaam karo… apne mamaji ko bula ke lao aur mein khana lagati hoon… thik hai…'

Anu: thik hai… par apne meri sawal ka jawab nahin diya…

Bani: Anu … tum yeh sawal apne mamaji se pooch lena… I'm sure he'll be glad to help you… ab chalo zaldi jao…

Bani let out a sigh of relief… and went downstairs….as Anu went towards their room to fetch Jai…

However at the dinner table … Jigyasa wasn't present there … Masi…Adi…Anu and Jai were sitting down on there respitive places… But Jigs she's no where to be seen…

Adi looked at Bani's curious face and understood…what she must be thinking… 'Bani woh Jigyasa ki tabiyat kuch thik nahin hai… woh sau rein hai…'

Bani didn't argue further with Adi… she served everyone … and dinner turned out to be one quiet affair….

In JB's room …

Jai came out of the bathroom and saw Bani sitting on the bed lost in her her thought …

Jai: kya baat hai Bani… pareshan ho he said walking towards her…

Bani: no… aise koi baat nahin hai….I'm fine…

He went to her pulled her towards him and said… well in that case you can fulfill ur promise you made to me earlier on…

'Promise!!! What promise!!! I don't remember any such promise…' she said giggling…

'Abhi yaad dilate hoon….saying that he started his wild ways with her….and the scene fades away' ….

*Following morning* …

…Jai Bani both were awake lying next to each other….

'Bani ek baat pooch…' asked Jai as he caressed her bare arm …

Bani made herself comfortable in his arm and half sleepily said… 'hmmm poochiyen…'

'kaal raat ko mujhe aisa kyun laga ke sirf tumhara tan mere saath tha…tumhara aatma nahin…kya baat hai Bani sab kuch thik tu hain na'

Bani felt a bit guilty as what he said was true… throughout last night she was absent minded….

'Jai… main aap ko kuch batana chah thi hoon… woh kal mein aur Pushkar hospital gayen the… aur wahan se pata chala ki… woh aap ka doctor ne woh job chor kar kahin aur chala geya hai… aur kisie ko ish bare mein kuch nahin pata…'

Jai: Bani please don't stress over such matteres… shayad kisi ne hamare saath koi gandha mazak kiya hai…. Jaisa tum soch rein ho waisa kuch bhi nahin hai…

Bani wanted to tell him about jigyasa… but then she couldn't tell him anything like that… it would only add to their trouble… so she decided to remain quiet… as she was sure that Jigyasa won't do any such thing ever again because Bani won't let her do it again…

Jai noticed the blankness in her face… so he just pulled her more closer in his arms … 'come here'…

Jai: Bani … I have a complaint… I was going to ask you that last night but I forgot…

'Complaint!!! Kaisa compalint'!?!

'Kal raat ko tumne Anu ko mere paas sawal poochne ko kyun bejha tha….her questions are so aanoying….yeh ladki kya kya pooch thi rehti hai…'

'kya poocha usene aapse' …. She said giggling…

…you're laughing… now that's not fair… tumein pata hai usne mujhse kys poocha…

'kya poocha'

'usne pooch ke … candle light dinne aur candle light lunch mein kya farq hota hai… I was so thankful to God … that she didn't mentuion candle light breakfast' …

She burst out laughing… I'm sorry main agar janti ke woh aise sawal pooche gi tu mein useke saath zaroor aati…aapka answer sunne ke liey…

'Bani chup… yaha mein tumein apni pareshani bata raha hoon…aur tum hans rein ho… you're so mean'

'oh my poor baby… ok I won't make fun of you anymore… accha yeh tu bataiyen aapne uski sawal ka kya jawab diya…'

'I didn't answer that question… I just looked at her… and she had that much brain to understand that I got angry at her… so without saying anything … she just left'

'aap ko aisa nahin karma chaiyen tha…poor Anu' …

I thought I was you're poor baby… where did this poor Anu came from….

'Jai… it's getting late choron mujhe …I have to go down… aur aap ko bhi tu office jana hai'…

'haan mein tu office ke bare mein bhool geya tha….kissing her one last time he rushed to the bathroom as he was running late for office…as bani remained sited on the bed holding on the the sheet up to her neck... '
